Thank you Dr. Racaniello! I was wondering just how an ssRNA virus can have such high base error rate and recalled it had to be a reverse transcriptase virus. I didn't know ssRNA viruses translate their own polymerase, explains the significantly different error rate from host translation.
Cordialement Guillaume
@@ayeshashabbir9741 HI Ayesha, thank you for the answer. I am sure you are right in your position because I actually was thinking the same, but i have some difficulties to find a publication or a book that tells the same, do you have a reference? it will help me so much! BR

Your lecture is very lucid and crystal clear

Sir how to see sars 2 protein network on string database (organism of SARS 2)
what about Viral RNA detective ? what does it mean ?
Covid virusla rna genatics use changed is possible
thanks for a great explanation.
Does positive RNA genome have a different clinical significance than negative RNA?
Thanks in advance
They are more harmful as infection spreads rapidly because they are readily translated... So must be treated as soon as possible
@@ayeshashabbir9741 Hmm, I heard that -ssRNA viruses are in general the more dangerous ones
@@xDomglmao yes most of the viral infections are caused by ssRNA viruses
