🤣 you had me in tears. I just love you. Listen the butt part, I be saying that to myself too 😩 🤷🏽♀️ and I’m soooooooo NOT a summer person or heat. When we were stationed in Puerto Rico (I was born there) I hated it. It was sooooooo hot 🥵 I complained every single day so when they transferred us to OH I was in heaven at least the change of weather. I can’t stand cold either cause of my arthritis but fall and spring… I’m there. I have to somehow get used to some kind of hear cause my hubs wants to retire in FL and I’m like bruh can I get some fall please 🤣 anyways 😆 this cup came out outstanding 😍😍Love how simple it was to make it too. From the ombré to the waves 🌊 let me say they were so easy. People go soooo extra sometimes with waves and it’s like scary 🫣 but I love how you did yours. Amazing job as always. Beautiful 😍 stay blessed love 🥰
omg.. no to florida!!!! too hot, no seasons except hurricane season and the bugs and wildlife are ridiculous... tell hubs North Carolina is nice!!! hahaha
thank you!!!! and yeah, this weather is stupid!!! lol.. i couldnt handle your weather.. i went to vegas a few years ago with the utmost conviction that 100 degrees in florida was way worse that Nevada and I WAS WRONG!!! ... your hot is so much worse that my hot! lol
I love the idea of a belligerent glitter! 😄 What a beautiful tumbler! I wouldn't be interested in a sanded vs not sanded abuse test. It couldn't be interesting. I'm loving the content, thank you!
Omg where do I begin?? L❤VE the pastel beach look and that decal is perfect! I learned so much in this video but I especially loved learning about sanding... to sand or not to sand, that is the question LOL Gotta say though, you avoiding the flying dinosaur insect in your garage was absolute GOLD!! Girl, you should've seen me at the beach one day trying to bat away a June bug with my phone hahaha When do the cicadas come? I heard there will be twice as many this year as 2 of the cycles are emerging at the same time 😳😬
June bugs are terrifying so I totally get that! Lol! The flying bug was not the worst thing that has happened, now that the puppy has found the joy of chasing frogs she promptly brought one in to the house, mistook my screaming for encouragement and she dropped the Frog right at my feet. I then proceeded to try to herd the dogs back out the back door because its 11:00 at night, I start screaming for Michael but of course he has his life canceling headphones on so he doesn't hear me, the frog is looking at me, I'm looking at the frog, I'm like YOU CANT STAY!!!.. the frogs looking at me like RIBBIT RIBBIT MAMA... I'm trying to somehow scoot the Frog to go somewhere.. although I don't really have a plan and the Frog then just jumps off towards the living room. At that point I wish it all the luck in the world and may the odds forever be in its favor because I sure as heck I'm not picking that thing up or trying to chase it down at this point. Fast forward a week later I see Lola playing with something and needless to say let's just leave it at she found the Frog and living inside the house did not bode well for him. Uggg!!! Of course I share this on Facebook because it was absolutely traumatizing and the first thing everybody says is please tell us you have that on film. I checked the security camera and thank God the camera did not catch all of that or else you know I would have had to posted that for the entire universe to see. Lol!
Omg i love you!! You make me laugh with some stuff you say!! 😂 the thing about your husband being so rough with the epoxy on the cup!!! I laughed so loud when you said that! I’m glad you talked about translucent glitter…how do I know if the glitter is translucent or not? I feel like most of the companies I buy from don’t say if their glitter is translucent, so I just buy it and hope it’s what I need lol. Thank you for doing these videos! I’m so happy I found your channel, I love the way you teach!
haha.. i am glad i made you laugh!!!! he was fired from epoxying because then he wouldnt understand why i was so mad .. well homeboy.. i spend 15 minutes and 3 passes of glitter making that ombre perfect and you ruined it in 10 seconds of manhandling!!! haha ... for the glitter, most companies really dont break it down like that :( .. usually its a polyester glitter, often an opal or a colorshift but even then not always :( the 'opal' is a big hint because opals always allow the base color of what you are putting them on to shine through.. peachy olive, pdb creative and it's pretty personal are my favorites to work with when it comes to ombres like this but honestly, its just finding colors that are soft in your hand, easy to work with and pair nicely with the colors you are working with .. we all kind of find our favorites by trial and error, it seems.. lol
I am interested in where you got your glitter shelves. I believe you said it was on your community tab. I checked for your Facebook group, but must be doing something wrong as I'm unable to open it. I just love your tutorials and you have become one of my favorites to watch.
You just crack me up. The butt lol. Hysterical. Those colors are amazing. What spray adhesive do you use? I’ve never done an ombré but that whole pick up and let it rip method is golden.
haha .. to do what we do, you just gotta have fun with it or it will drive ya crazy :) this is my favorite spray adhesive and i usually grab it from walmart .. www.walmart.com/ip/Darice-Clear-Krylon-Spray-Adhesive-11-Ounces/23630797/
Thank you - yes I have one of those screens that goes across the entire garage door opening. It's an absolute Lifesaver and summertime from all of the flying bugs we have. LOL
thank you!!! I just use regular spray adhesive ... Krylon is my favorite go to .. check in the description box of the video because i usually try to add a link to it :)
Where do you store your resin? I live in Texas where it is hot but not a wet humidity we have a dry humidity. I have a Craft shed with no A/C unless I am in working.
I store mine inside in the ac. Because it gets so hot out in the garage and in the sheds especially in summer your epoxy is starting warm. Especially if you were using fast set that is basically setting you up for Flash curing and that's an absolute Nightmare and a waste of resin. So all of my epoxy is stored inside so it can live in a nice happy 70° world ;)
Have you ever had your glitter 'bubble'? Is there any way to save it?? I used Elmers Spray Adhesive....and assume that I used to much 🤷♀🤷♀😢😢. Process was: sand stainless, wash with dish soap, spray paint, dry for days, spray adhesive (three coats with maybe 15 minutes between), dry maybe 45 minutes, matte clear spray paint....bubbling started within about 30 minutes. I have rolled it, tried to pop the bubbles and roll more, can get rid of most of them, but they come back.
I wish we lived closer. I don’t know how you can work in the garage in the summer. I have the exact same fan as you. I paint and do resin. I bought 20 oz tumblers to try one.
I live in orlando, are u telling me i can do this in my garage. Its kind of insulted but no ac not ecen a screen.....ima try a cup out there. Cause im using Hyperion inside my house (loft) omg i miss epoxy. Thank u so much. Feel free to respond on tips about my garage 🙏🏻😇
You can!!!! I used to have an epoxy table in my house and eventually had to move into the garage because i was running out of space .. now i have 40 cup spinners out there!! i glitter out there, spray paint, epoxy .. the whole shebang! the MAIN piece of advice is remember its part of your house .. haha... i made the mistake of spraying spray adhesive for like 2 months in the back corner of my garage... um.. right near my hubbys tools ... yeah, guess who had to clean all of that adhesive off the tools and still hears about it today?? .. i have epoxy on my garage floor that will need to be sanded off whenever we decide to sell this house ... ugg!!! your garage will get dirty so fast, the spray paint particle go everywhere, spray sealer particles attach to dust so everything in the area you are using it in will get 'fuzzy'... ours is a mess but at this point, i am all in and will just have to pressure wash everything when i leave .. lol .. ps, i have sheets of particle board under my spinner tables to catch any falling or flung epoxy ... i should have gone wider or doubled up but just an fyi.. protect your floors!!!
its about 15 minutes from when you start bringing A and B together .. and i am usually mixing big cups of epoxy and that's about 10 - 12 cups worth of epoxy so using my little electric mixer helps because i can mix that entire cup in just a few minutes vs sitting there mixing by hand for 10 and then run the risk of the epoxy flash curing on me ..
it's so ridiculous and SC is just as bad as we are here!!!! ... i stare with envy whenever i take the dogs out at noon and my dog Bailey jumps in the pool living her best life while i am dying of a heat stroke from working in the 100 degree garage all morning .. hahaha
The struggle is real! I actually have a screen that goes over the entire garage door opening but I know there is a rip in it and I think that's where the wasps have a tendency to come in. We haven't hit the really nasty knat, fly, noseeum part of summer yet so I'll have to have it replaced before then. I think I have a spare one in my office somewhere I have to find. LOL
@@wickedwhiskeydesignshome Depot or Lowe’s has screen repair kits.. a few different shapes that the edges are frayed ..to put on across the slice or rip and bend over the edges.
