Good video Simon, i think its in your head about your car being driven by your son, as for the parking i have news you can actuall park on someone's elses drive an the cant do nothing about it as long as your not stopping their access if they cause any damage to your car by trying to remove it you can claim from them ive seen this on loads of videos and on the internet their are no laws on parking on someone elses drive there are time peopke have had a car on theur drive gor 2 years theg tried contacting dvla the police and still couldn't get hold the owner to remove, Greywoodie i believe bought the rights to kaywoodie Nathen Davies , But dont quote me on that 😂😂😂take care Simon.
I heard the part where your car was compression tested on the cylinder that was misfiring. Interesting result with the smell of oil. One thing to try is to compression test all cylinders to see if they are the same, I suspect one of them is blowing by it's rings, or the valves. That oil is coming from somewhere, and it could even be the cylinder that was worked on. A compression test rig is nothing more than a hose with the same threads as a spark plug, connected to a pressure gauge. Testing one cylinder gives you the highest pressure it can achieve, but it may be lower than the remaining cylinders, indicating some blowby. Checking the other cylinder pressures will either lead to all pressures being roughly the same, or it can show you the leak. One simple test is to carefully unscrew the oil filler cap on a just-started engine (just started means the engine and fluids won't be scorching hot. Unscrew the cap until it is just disconnected, but leave it over the opening. There should be no pressure at this location, and if there is, the engine is pretty much toast. It does not tell you where the problem is, but it does tell you that combustion gasses are leaking out of somewhere. This is a test you can do yourself. Put a rag over the cap and opening and only run it this way until you know there is something clearly escaping, or not. Good luck Simon, I know how frustrating it is to start distrusting your vehicle.
Your car, it’s all to do with the clutch. If your son is driving your car and it feels different after wards then it’s because you both use the clutch differently.. it’s not a soul it’s a clutch

Put your lighter in the fridge,it will fill completely always.. If you don't then always release the pressure before you refill. Puff on Brother.
