hey man this is a sick cover. I've been trying to learn this song for a bit and every tab online is similar but all have minor things about them that seem a bit off. You do quite a bit different that what most tabs do and in my initial attempts to work out your way to play the song it sounds much closer to the recording for sure. I put the video to half speed and just got an idea for what you did and messed around until i got it. I keep getting thrown off because your 1st fret has a fret marker for some reason lol.
I might take the time to try and tab out what you're playing here to the best of my ability. if I do I'll make sure to give you full credit and send the link to it so you can add it to your description. unless you've got an issue with that
Hey man, first of all, thank you so much for the kind words. When I do a cover I try to do it by ear as much as I can and if I run into issues I try to find a good live version of the song so I can see what they are playing (or at least where his hands are and what shape, then figure it out by ear). I’m glad my cover helped you, that’s the reason I started doing these. Of course you can tab it out and share it. I will put the link to your tab as a pinned comment on this video for sure. I would have just put it on Ultimate Guitar but they rejected it saying they'd rather me suggested an edit to another than upload a new one. So that's annoying. Then I tried to just save it for personal use and use their print to PDF option but apparently you have to pay UG money to get a pdf copy of a tab, even one you wrote. lmao. Long story short I managed to get a copy of it to my google drive
It's got minor formatting issue but it's not a big enough deal to ruin it and is still easy to follow. I did take the liberty of adjusting the chorus ever so slightly. I think you had it 99% there anyway but i've watched it played enough times now that I think the subtle change I made works
