Oh man! What a christmas that must have been! It’s impossible to beat that at the time and to this very day. First 12 are as classic as it gets and I love that x-wing! Hoping to find a vintage AT-AT next.. but first we have an ROTJ collection video from this same find coming very soon. Thanks much for taking the time to check out the channel and watch this video man!
Hi Fabulous video i have watched it few times now . I have a collection of Star Wars figures On Star Wars backing cards and ESB and ROJ Backing cards I have 79 plus doubles .been from The UK my toys are made by Palitoy and Kenner . Back in 2008 my Mum said to me do you want to take your Star Wars figures to your house because I want to tidy out the loft .She had put them in a box when I moved out . Brilliant video looking forward to seeing the Jedi figures . MTFBWY
Thanks so much, Richard! I’m glad you’re enjoying this video! Wow!!! Incredible collection, matey!! That’s amazing! All the best to you & yours in 2023, buddy 🥃 MTFBWY!
I'm 43yrs hit me also. My collection I started for my son so he'll get that hand-me-downs thankfully. I was able to find an unpunched boba Fett 👌🏽✅ 🥂 cheers to boys and our toys. I don't want to grow up I'm forever Toys R Us kid
For the duration of this video I was transported back to Christmas of 1980. The best of my life.. I was 10 and I got many of those figures, the Darth Vader case and a Millennium Falcon. I've since chased down a set of loose vintage figures but seeing those cards is amazing. Thanks for a great video of such an awesome find!
21:12 The Snaggletooth photo is actually from the Star Wars Holiday Special. The second wave of figures hit stores in September of 1978 & concentrated more on aliens & robots because for Christmas the sets were the Cantina, The Droid Factory, & The Millenium Falcon. The Holiday Special aired 2 months later in November.
This is an awesome comment. I was aware of the droid factory and knew there was at least one special released but - all a bit before my time. These are amazing facts right here. Hope you enjoyed the video and thank you very much for taking the time to check out the channel 🤘🏼
7:30 I remember that magazine. If I remember correctly, I think that was from RIF. In school the students would get catalog of books they can order to inspire kids to read.
It really does man.. that said, I truly do not believe we will see another vintage kenner Star Wars collection like this again in our lifetime. Part two of this collection is coming soon- ROTJ portion. Thanks much for tuning in my friend!
My wife’s brother has loads of boxed and carded Star Wars figures as they stayed in Coalville Leicestershire England and the palitoy toy factory was next door. And they also made all the early Kenner star wars figures . He won’t sell anything no matter the price offered !
So glad you enjoyed this video! Thank you for taking the time to watch. There are two more videos related to this collection if you’re interested as well!
Brother I am literally speechless, I would pay just to be able to see these in person! Also amazing pickups, you basically grabbed all the ones I was mentally choosing through the video haha. Cant wait for part 2!
I’m so glad you enjoyed this man. It was super important to me to not only share this with you guys, but to film it correctly and do it justice, so I hope that I did. Great minds think alike haha. Part two coming VERY soon!
Nice presentation of the figures. Fantastic memory of all of them as they were displayed from the box. Was lucky to grow up in that era, Parents made Lucas RICH.!! lol.
It was a perfect time to be alive, my friend. I’m very glad you enjoyed the video. Lucas owes you guys big time!! 😂😂 Also, I’m sponsoring a Toywiz giveaway on the channel right now and it’s Dengar from this very collection! Let me know if you are interested and can find the video if you’re interested!
What makes these stand out from most of the finds I've seen is how clear the bubbles are. They're ALWAYS yellowed, and these look like new. Outstanding
I can see that Yoda....I loved him so much, Boba Fett, the Tauntaun, Luke, Han, Chewie and Lobot. I am speechless!!! Me and my brother had 70 percent of these back in the day!!!
There were wild stories back in the mid 90s about vintage finds. I was talking to guy selling a dt luke, and it was in the bag and I asked him how much he said $100 and somehow he said he had 100 of them and I think it was true but can't substantiate... funny how the stuff in the attic remained in good condition after all that time too
Awesome collection you are very fortunate to get your hands on it. Those figures remained me of simpler times and why I love Star Wars and pop culture.
Absolutely, my friend. I was incredibly excited to share it with the community. Could not agree with you more regarding the nostalgia of it all. Much simpler times… much better times. Thanks much for taking the time to watch this man! Hope all is well
This is the sickest star wars figure video i have ever seen. I remember seeing all theese in the store and rumours of the american kids could get a 1/3 of a death star as a playset !! ahahahaha wonderful video. CRAZY VIDEO !!
Hahaha I miss rumors like that!! 😂😂. I’m very glad you enjoyed this video, my friend. I don’t think we will see another vintage kenner Star Wars collection like this in our lifetime. Part two of this collection is coming very soon. ROTJ!
Hey man! Appreciate you checking out this video and I’m glad you enjoyed it! The store was very close on securing an amazing vintage joe collection but it fell through … that was going to be the next vintage video here on the channel 🥲🤷🏻♂️. I plan to film collections like these as they come into the store- plenty more future vintage goodness to come!
So cool!! I'm not someone who has these fun memories (at least not of Kenner's Star Wars) but my dad sure does!! Much agreed with all you too have said throughout the video guys. These really started TOY COLLECTING from a little kid to a nerdy adult! Also, out-of-this-planet collection you've shown there. Keep doing vids like this.
Thanks so much for watching buddy! I’m very glad you enjoyed this video! Vintage toys are my passion and I have a lot to share with you guys.. the fact that this video is getting some solid attention is very encouraging. We will be shooting part two of this video very soon! The ROTJ portion of the collection!
Great get! This is a toy hunter's wet dream! There are about 11 variations of the farm boy luke...different pants and hair color because they used whatever was cheap and available at the time in the particular factory where it was made.
Thanks man! Yes dude- this line in general I feel like has so many variants.. it just doesn’t get any better than this and I truly do not believe we will see another kenner Star Wars collection like this in our lifetime. Part 2 coming very soon! ROTJ stuff! Thanks much for taking the time to watch 💯🙏🏼🍻
I too loved the alien looking ones as a child, I was especially taken with Walrus Man (Ponda Baba) but never owned one. My best friend had one and I was so envious. I was in a toy shop a few years ago and they had him as part of the Vintage Collection and so bought it. I think even they are going up in value! Great video.
Love ponda baba! Kenner Star Wars are starting to gain value but I think that line hasn’t at all caught up to other lines in terms of value. Still a great time to buy them loose and even on card! Thanks much for watching this video! Glad you enjoyed it.
I’m a lot younger than a lot of vintage Star Wars collectors so pretty much all of the figures in my collection are “well played” cause that’s all I can afford. Seeing these was awesome and incredibly weird as I’ve always looked at my my figures like bobafett with almost no paint and said that’s how it’s supposed to look like for the longest time. Awesome video, can’t wait for the next!
Hey bro! Honestly, these figures in any condition are truly treasures. Awesome that you still have them. I have part two of this video coming as well as a vintage joe collection on card coming as well! Thank you as always for tuning in my man!
Without question, it sure is!! I’m confident that we will never see a vintage Star Wars collection like this in our lifetime again. I’m so incredibly happy to be able to share this with you guys- it’s a shining example of why I created this channel. Thank you for taking the time to watch!
One of my personal greatest memories of my childhood was my mother who is still kicking ass at 80 going on a shopping spree for her 3 sons at K-mart, had to be 80-81 and coming home with 3 of Everything from that Kenner line. At that time you had to save the UPC stamp to send away for boba Fett. All the figs and 3 sand speeders. That was So cool to see that collection bro👍
That is an amazing story man. Such different times... miss those days. Super happy to share this with you guys and I’m pumped you enjoyed it man. Part two is coming soon 🤙🏼
I’m happy you enjoyed the video! Clerics are one of my favorite classes btw lol. I’m confident that we will never see a vintage kenner Star Wars collection like this ever again in our lifetime. Part 2 coming soon!
Thank you my friend. I truly do not believe we will ever see a vintage Star Wars collection like this in our lifetime again. Super happy I was able to share it with you guys. Thanks much for taking the time to watch. Part 2 coming soon..
Wow. That's amazing. You could make discoveries like that in comic book shops back in the early 90s though I never came across complete cartons of carded figures. Mostly just cases of loose figs. Which you could pick up for 50 bucks. And that luke is awesome..looks like a totally white tunic. Can't believe the stuff was kept in the attic.
It’s truly unbelievable man. Bizarre almost, especially when you look at the mint, loose stuff.. like just opened, placed in the carrying case and forgotten lol. Wild stuff. Part two for the ROTJ portion is coming soon! Thanks much for tuning in, my friend
Absolutely man. It’s sensory overload. The amount of joy and excitement and surprise encountering this was and is off the charts. I love seeing the store stickers from 30+ years ago still on the shipper. Wild stuff. Couldn’t be happier to share it with you guys. ROTJ up next!
Truly a kenner Star Wars collection that we will never see in our lifetime again. Part two is coming soon :) .... you can always start slow and get them back into your collection my friend!
Thanks buddy! I grabbed some of the mint loose for the pc which I plan to grade. Just an incredible thing to see and experience. Glad you enjoyed the video 👊🏼
That is an insane collection. I would be drooling if I was there. Unreal that the comic pages still look good. What shocks me the most is the brown boxes.
😱 whoa. Congrats on coming into that. Never seen a collection like that anywhere even in toy shows. The toy line that started it all thanks for showing that to us! 🙏
Nice man!! You have a kenner Star Wars collection?? The carded figures are going to be sent off for grading. If you have any questions or are interested in any part of the collection, just give Toywiz a buzz and ask for John! Thanks much for watching man! There will be plenty more vintage action figure content on this channel.. few other videos currently up that were posted after this. Greatly looking forward to the next Star Wars collection that comes in!
Man that's a time capsule in those original shipping boxes..I remember those on store shelves new back in 1980. The original guy who bought all that had foresight for the future to preserve them like this. Perfect surviving examples of a culture long gone. This is deserving to be placed in a museum. Should have been kept together. A shame it got separated after 40 years as a complete collection. You shoulda just bought the whole Vader case full as is. Perfect collection right there.
Time capsule sums this up perfectly. Part of that display will be in my own personal museum for you guys to see :) Thanks much for taking the time to watch this video, my friend!
Absolutely brother! I was so incredibly happy to share this with you guys- just wanted to make sure i did this collection justice. Good news: part 2 of this collection is coming VERY soon to the channel. Welcome to the family & thank you!
The best video yet! Man that was awesome! So much vintage greatness! I'm so jealous right now! They look like they were just pulled from the shelf! Star wars is my personal favorite! I do have the esb stormtrooper on card but the card is not great but it's still sealed. Can't wait for part 2! Happy hunting!!
Hey my man! So happy you enjoyed this- I’ve been telling everyone commenting how happy I am to share this with you folks because I truly am. I also didn’t realize you were such a big Star Wars guy- that’s great stuff. Part two coming soon.. thank you as always my friend 🤘🏼

I know, man. I truly believe we won’t see another vintage Kenner Star Wars collection like this in our lifetime again. Thanks much for taking the time to watch 👊🏼🍻
That’s amazing man and that’s what it’s all about for guys like us - nostalgia. It’s also the reason I have dumped all of my big box retail stuff and now focusing solely on vintage which has always been the foundation of my collecting and happiness in the hobby. Thanks much for taking the time to watch this video - glad you enjoyed it
@@SentriTMC Dude such a great video. May I ask, I also am a toy collector in part. I found in my storage some old, carded toys I forgot I had: wrestling, ewoks, DC. If I wanted to sell these to actually make money, whats the best thing/best place to go?
@@davidk7534 it’s kinda hard to say but if you can establish a good relationship with a trustworthy local shop owner, you can start there. If the store cut is too big for you then you can always post in Facebook groups (although I personally don’t have Facebook) or through the community on Instagram. There’s also the good ole fashioned newspaper as well! People still post listings on Craigslist and such
Awesome video man. I have a bunch of these. Actually all of them except those last 15. I know I have a boba fett with a shooting missile. Or at least I pulled it out, but I remeber it went in and out, and it was a mail in.
The way you were stacking them on on table is how he should of packed them. Some may not of warped. None the less insane collection! Brings back great memories of my mom running around all day long looking for figures I wanted lol. Still have about 50 loose complete with original weapons figures. Don't know if I ever could sell them.
Nostalgia at least for me is what collecting is all about and it’s hard to get more nostalgic than this! Awesome you still have so many loose complete - hold on to those buddy! Thanks for watching!
@SentriTMC thanks man, my kids are getting ALMOST old enough for me to get my Darth Vader cases out of storage and let them go wild I guess, I don't really have any weapons or accessories for the figures so maybe nothing too bad can happen! @@SentriTMC we love that target. It’s always a stop for ya traveling up from Brooklyn. A target employee pointed Toy Whiz out to me a few years back so we try and hit that now too. And now the one in the mall!
Ya know the loose stuff is odd to me here (if the 3PO & R2 loose figs are the ones you’re mentioning)- they’re clearly all in perfect, unplayed with condition.. I think this guy literally removed everything on card since there are doubles and triples of everything lol, placed them in the collectors cases I suppose to fill them up and stored them away. It’s like they know I was coming 30 years later and wanted to make me happy 😂😂
You need to find that guy and demand he show you where he stores his time machine. Cause DAMN!!! BTW Retroblasting has an incredibly well detailed video on Luke’s Action Figure lightsaber colors.
😂😂 well we have part two of the time machine collection coming up VERY soon! ROTJ stuff! I need to check that retroblasting vid out! Thanks much for watching my man!

SUPER EPIC!
Perfect way to sum this up 💯. Thank you for taking the time to swing by the channel and watch 🤘🏼
Hands down the greatest action figure line of all time
Very hard to argue there… a foundational toy line for this hobby imho. Thanks much for taking the time to watch 🍻
Absolutely stunning, So cool to see them all!
Right! Not sure we’ll ever see something like this in our lifetime again!
Great video. Still great to see folks appreciate these things as much as I do.😄👍
Thank you my friend. I truly do not believe we will ever see a vintage Star Wars collection like this in our lifetime again. Super happy I was able to share it with you guys. Thanks much for taking the time to watch. Part 2 coming soon..
I can almost see the smile on your face when you saw this collection
It was an incredible day bro
Unbelievably amazing! (I've had dreams like this). Great score! Thanks for sharing this find!
Seriously man! Still shook over it. Part 2 coming soon! Thank you as always for supporting the channel bro 🙏🏼🤘🏼
Awesome video! Great find
Thanks buddy! Glad you enjoyed the video! Incredible collection! I’m going to do an update video at the store soon as well
WOW!!!!!! Incredible!!!!
It really is my ghostly friend. You’re definitely one of the people I had in mind whom I thought would truly appreciate this. Part 2 coming very soon!
@@SentriTMC I can dont wait to see it. It is still crazy to me that there are still collections like this being found all these years later
Absolutely man. It’s sensory overload. The amount of joy and excitement and surprise encountering this was and is off the charts. I love seeing the store stickers from 30+ years ago still on the shipper. Wild stuff. Couldn’t be happier to share it with you guys. ROTJ up next!
Absolutely AMAZING!!!!
Like the guy in the video, I had never seen one of the cardboard shipping cases before.
Incredible once in a lifetime collection man. Really happy I was able to share this with you guys. Part two coming soon!
Amazing collection, this brought back memories I had all of these figures I regret letting go of them.
Truly a kenner Star Wars collection that we will never see in our lifetime again. Part two is coming soon :) .... you can always start slow and get them back into your collection my friend!
Absolutely unbelievable!!!! Small fortune there!!! I would grade 48 to sell and keep the other 48 to hand down to my daughter. Wow. Congrats!!!!!
Totally insane man. All of it.
😱 whoa. Congrats on coming into that. Never seen a collection like that anywhere even in toy shows. The toy line that started it all thanks for showing that to us! 🙏
Truly an incredible day that I was able to share with you guys- I’m glad you like it man. Once in a lifetime
What a rush!!!...
it just made me love my carded and loose figures
So what's next for the carded figures.
This is unbelievable. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely my friend! Glad you enjoyed and thank you for watching!
Echt nostalgisch, danke dir.
Anytime my friend! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Part of that display will be in my own personal museum for you guys to see :)
Thanks much for taking the time to watch this video, my friend!
That ugnaught would be awesome in Black Series!! Love those retro figures too....
Unbelievable! So many memories, thanks for showing these, just subbed!
Absolutely brother! I was so incredibly happy to share this with you guys- just wanted to make sure i did this collection justice. Good news: part 2 of this collection is coming VERY soon to the channel. Welcome to the family & thank you!
@@SentriTMC can't wait till part 2 gets here! Thanks again, gonna do some binge watchin!
Anytime my friend!
This is Freaking cool just so cool this is an ultimate grail in hands.
Absolutely bro! We will never see a vintage kenner Star Wars collection like this in our lifetime again... part 2 coming VERY soon
I had two of those Yoda figures when I was a kid.
Sentri wow that's awesome I have no other words but wow. Crazy nice
Really nutty collection man. Very glad you caught this one! Thank you as always 🤘🏼🍻
Sentri I just saw in Walmart of West Hartford CT the monsters for the Ghostbusters there were two. The toilet and a eye ball
@@omarperez4143 oh man! That’s a bit far even for me but this is great news that CT is starting to see it! Hopefully closer to my neck of the woods soon! Greatly appreciate the heads up here buddy- thank you!
That was an insane collection, something you don’t see. Nice haul especially that R2.
It really really is. It’s the sort of stuff I’ve always hoped to be able to share with the community if given the opportunity. Hope you enjoyed and thank you as always for watching. Norwalk 4LIFE 🤘🏼
This collection is bananas! 🔥
Jealous that you were in the same room as It! How freaking cool!
It really was man. Tangible pieces of history and childhood. Part 2 coming soon
@@SentriTMC can’t wait!
Amazing to see. I love selling vintage Star wars but nothing like this
I know, man. I truly believe we won’t see another vintage Kenner Star Wars collection like this in our lifetime again. Thanks much for taking the time to watch 👊🏼🍻
I remember my local KB Toys having a huge section for star wars toys. Seeing this brings back so many memories
People still post listings on Craigslist and such
What a great post. I just bought some S.W. Black Series figures from their Ebay store!!!! Thank you bro!!!
You’re very welcome man!
Thats a once in a lifetime find!
Ain’t that the truth! We will never see a vintage kenner Star Wars collection like this again in our lifetime. Part two coming very soon!
My Darth Vader Light switch is still used today in my bedroom :)
Amazing man. As it should be! Thanks much for taking the time to watch this video!
God damn genius! Perfect timing too.
Such a crazy lot!
Awesome video man. I have a bunch of these. Actually all of them except those last 15. I know I have a boba fett with a shooting missile. Or at least I pulled it out, but I remeber it went in and out, and it was a mail in.
Amazing stuff. Time flies, man and this toy line will go down as one of the pillars of our community for sure. That mail-in Boba!!!
Brings back SO many memories. Thx
You are very welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video
Sentri - I'll split that loose collection with you. We'll be a couple of giambronies hanging out with a few clean domed R2-D2s.
😂😂 you know us nj/nj jamokes need to ALWAYS be #CHROMEDOUT
The way you were stacking them on on table is how he should of packed them. Some may not of warped. None the less insane collection! Brings back great memories of my mom running around all day long looking for figures I wanted lol. Still have about 50 loose complete with original weapons figures. Don't know if I ever could sell them.
Nostalgia at least for me is what collecting is all about and it’s hard to get more nostalgic than this! Awesome you still have so many loose complete - hold on to those buddy! Thanks for watching!
I have an R2D2 light switch cover that does the same thing, except it fell apart on me not long ago!
Memories my friend! That’s what it’s all about
And you definitely got your money’s worth!
@SentriTMC thanks man, my kids are getting ALMOST old enough for me to get my Darth Vader cases out of storage and let them go wild I guess, I don't really have any weapons or accessories for the figures so maybe nothing too bad can happen! I just found your channel, but I'm gonna subscribe, keep it up buddy!
@@Johnny455 raising them right! That will be such an exciting moment/time for you, that is awesome man.
Thanks much for the feedback and I’m glad you’ve found the channel! Welcome!!
This is absolute mayhem, i am jellous.
☺
😂😂 it was unreal man!
genuinely made my week
🙏🏼🙏🏼 really glad you enjoyed the video my friend
Overwhelming naturally. I hate someone. Super jealous.
Sensory overload man. Truly unreal.
This is so cool. Wow
It really is man. I’m confident in saying that we will never see a vintage kenner Star Wars collection like this again in our lifetime. I was super excited to share this with you guys and we aren’t done just yet. Part two coming soon - ROTJ :)
A truly stunning collection,absolutely brilliant.👌👍💥
It really is! Thank you for taking the time to watch! 🙌🏼🍻
I have that same Star Wars comic, framed and sighed by Roy Thomas.
Amazing! The only signed Roy Thomas piece I have is marvel spotlight 5
This is treasure beyond words , please do a part 2 :)
It sure is brother! Thanks much for taking the time to watch- super happy you enjoyed it. Part 2 is coming very soon 🤘🏼
@@SentriTMC I watched every minute brother, what could be better than mint Star Wars figures ? Looking forward to part 2 :)
My god! I know your store, too! On our trips north we stop there as well as spring valley target!!
I’m in spring valley often! Along with the target in west Nyack in the palisades mall right down the road! Featured plenty on this channel
@@SentriTMC we love that target. It’s always a stop for ya traveling up from Brooklyn. A target employee pointed Toy Whiz out to me a few years back so we try and hit that now too. And now the one in the mall!
@@tomchorlton4911 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That 3PO and R2 are beyond mint.
@@SentriTMC lol looking forward to watching and no problem!
