Hey everyone, I still plan on having an actual gameplay vid uploaded this weekend! But since I showcased the Density mod last vid, I felt I should show people how to use it just in case they didn't know! Have fun with the mods!
A mod i’d love to see for this game in particular is a time travel mod. Imagine going back in time to stop murders before they happen, it would work super well since the npcs have routines they go through on the regular.
I've thought about having that be a plot for one of the videos tbh

@@thatboywagsmake sure there is a save before a murder. Then, play the next murder through. Once solved at the end load the original save (track down the killer before committing crime).

I doubt that. I mean i love the game and it is very good... But the older games from this company are not getting updates, and they don't have that many people. I think the game would be sadly abounded. I don't want this, but it's probably what will happen.

As for the subscriber count, a lot of people say the same thing, that it seems low for the type of content I'm putting on the channel. But honestly, I'm so proud of the growth and the community I've managed to build so far.

I finally solved my first 5/5 case yesterday and was happy times. Today however is a little less legit. I was attacked by some pos with a knife wanting money and naturally having my truncheon I was like hell no asshole so I beat him down. Which apparently was against the law since then every mofo with a weapon in the street started wailing on me and I died instantly. So in this world self defence is a crime. Well nice. The game is starting to rub me the wrong way already, which sucks because I want to love it :(
Also for that matter, when the player character commits a "crime" in public everyone beats the shit out of them but when the murderer does it it's like "whatever" 😂
its called fucking RUN LIKE HELL and have a news paper. though i think they made teh gum shoe hiding in plane sight visa news paper jaz not work. or maybe i got a bad paper...

From what i know 7 zip is better than winrar as sometimes winrar doesn't unpack correctly (i guess if its packed too tight or something.). Winrar is pretty old so maybe thats why. I use 7 zip and it worked on all packed files correctly. Also you do not get the annoying "pay for me" window constantly (well i unpack files to folder usually not automatically like you here but i don;t think there ware any window like in winrar for 7zip.)

Any luck finding a way to? I guess the mod installation process has to replace assets, so there is probably no easy way to accomplish this...

The knife murder npc mod that was available in the video isn't on the thunder store website anymore. Wanted to do my own murder spree. lol
Yeah a lot of the mods for the game have broke or been taken down since this video. I actually have a video coming out later today that talks about it a little bit.
wish there was a mod for adding new people so the citys dont slowly die out

I keep on having an error when clicking on the Start Modded. It's: an error occured whilst searching Steam Libary locations ENOENT: no such file or directory, scandir 'E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps' Any Ideas??

How dense population wise can you make the city? Overcrowding like Hong Kong or India?
Not shoulder to shoulder per se, but definitely crowded on the streets. And if you do high value properties too and a big grid size, sometimes you're just surrounded by towering buildings which is cool.

Dont really expect a reply, but everything has gone well except EVERY mod accept from BepinEx, Density Mod, and The Core one, which i forgot the name of. Could you help?
All mods are kind of broken right now.
When I made this video, they were working fine, but then the game went through an update that caused most of the mods to stop working or become game-breaking.
This is why the next phase of the roadmap is to focus on mod support.

I'm not sure, it was just on there a few days ago. Weird.
hm given theres mods inthunderstone i can proably just use thunderstone for my game.
windows can unpack zip files now, also 7zip it just better
some mods are in .RAR and windows can´t open them by defult (winRAR can and 7zip) and I think there was a small window where some .RAR files could not be open whit 7zip.
Is it possible to somehow open a game with mods through another source, for example Wemod
I'm not sure actually, I've never used Wemod

Do I even need WinRar? I have windows 10 and have never had issues downloading and extracting zip files

Yes sadly they did. Quite a few mods got removed due to problems with the game when they were installed I believe.
this simply does not work. i launch the game and it has no mods. i did everything right, why isnt anything working?

@@thatboywags Well, I started out using RAR under DOS, but I had no problem switching to 7Zip the moment I learned about it. There is simply no reason to keep using the old annoying scamware that is WinRAR any longer.

there are sync disks that let you increase your storage space by quite alot

I was watching your gameplay videos, right up until you said not to pay for WinRAR in this video. Shame on you for saying not to pay someone for the work that they have done and continue to do.
If they wanna be paid they shouldn't make it so easy not to pay. Shame on them for being a lazy developer
