The Boiled One, classified as PHEN-228, is the titular main antagonist of the Doctor Nowhere analog horror video The Boiled One Phenomenon curated and brought to you by Web-U Industries.
Friday Night Funkin' ('FNF') is an open-source donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam. The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r.

Ok, so for those who don’t know, the third song of the first mod is based on a digital horror series called Chez Kids that even has a whole website and secret channels with more lore sprinkled in. If you want to check it out then I’d definitely recommend it because it’s pretty cool.

Stan, that Under The Tree song got deep lore. It's from a series called "ChezzKids", The woman you play as is "Sarah R. Trills", and the 'markiplier' you thought it was would be "Harrison Michaels". Sarah was the owner of ChezzKids before she went missing through 2003-2004, being speculated in the forest. Harrison went out to look for her, but this silly goofball ended up burning down the whole entire forest, killing himself too. Now, the name of that song is a reference to the song "Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree", which Harrison did infact sing in one of the episodes, as of what I remember. Once again, I will tell you that ChezzKids is a real site (surprisingly). And the story about the Wildfire, Isn't true, It's just canon to the lore of ChezzKids. You should react to it for more.

The Boiled One is a tall, lanky entity with raw, crimson skin. He has a misshapen head with a melted appearance, a gaping mouth with many visible teeth, and large, human-like eyes. On his head are multiple wiry, hair-like appendages jutting out in straight lines. He appears to wear a black cloak that covers the rest of his body, which has similar spiky appendages to those on his head. Several shots in the video also show that he has at least one arm with multiple joints and a giant pulsating orifice on his chest.
personality
What little we see of his actions shows that PHEN-228 is a malicious yet calmly spoken and highly intelligent entity that actively targets those who come across his path, seemingly embodying trauma and malevolence itself. More specifically, he seems to target the family of Job Zamperini, who was a POW in World War 2. He tortures him psychologically by delivering to him unholy information and stalking him and his family. It can be assumed from his speech in one of the hijacked broadcasts that he likely knows what he is doing to his victims and is intentionally causing people to suffer from paralysis and dread.
biography
Little is given about who or what PHEN-228 is, other than what he says in his speeches and what is conveyed by the projection.
In August 2003. PHEN-228 hijacked a broadcast of a nature documentary in Pennsylvania. He appeared in the broadcast and began speaking to the viewers, declaring that their memory of his face would cause a physical manifestation of him in the future while they were asleep in bed, from which, after awakening, they will not be able to move any part of their body. He said that he would continuously watch over them and that no one will be able to see him except for the victim in question.
Despite the Ephrata Branch managing to cut and destroy any evidence of the hijacking, hundreds of people began to experience The Boiled One’s appearance in their minds, taunting and tormenting them and leaving many distraught. Many could not keep his face out of their minds, and others continued to hear his voice days after viewing. One victim said that the face was living in his mind and feeding on his spine, whereas another recalled hearing trumpets before they fell asleep. Eventually, all the witnesses to PHEN-228 were left with pseudocoma, or Locked-in Syndrome, leaving them completely unable to move their body apart from their eyes.
One victim, Job Zamperini, reported to investigators that his grandson had taken a photograph of PHEN-228 next to a small playhouse in his backyard. He later explained that he believed something unholy was with him and that it would hurt him and others if he were to explain what PHEN-228 was telling him. The officers interviewed Zamperini, who expressed that he heard the sounds of hundreds of people screaming and that only he could see the "horribly burnt" face of PHEN-228, who then rises and appears in the window.
During the interview, PHEN-228 interrupts the broadcast and starts speaking. He cryptically insists that upon the end times, the viewer will hear the laughter of thousands alongside trumpets playing their "happy sounds" as the "scalding blood of life" pours down from an opening in the sky. The hijacking is then intercepted, and the video ends with the Ephrata Branch informing the user to follow the guidelines at the beginning of the video and to turn off the TV.
Safety procedures
1. Avoid any cognitive contact with PHEN-228, including the viewing of it’s face.
2. If you hear something unusual speaking in tongues, wear earplugs, open The Bible to Psalm 91:10, and write on paper: "i can see this paper. i can see my hand. I can't hear the screaming of thousands. I can't hear the feast. I am a moving, breathing human being on planet Earth.". After that, recite Psalms 91:10 aloud. If memories and imagery of something unholy persist in your mind, pray, and contact authorities, after which you will be administered amnestics.
3. Upon watching footage of PHEN-228, wear blue-light glasses and view from a distance of 3 feet or more.
4. Absolutely under no circumstances should you try to sleep if you have memorized PHEN-228’s face or experienced any of its side effects.

Hay Stanley! Fun fact! The songs "comatose" and "under the tree" both organly come from a mod called "dead air"! The reason "comatose" and "under the tree" are in this mod is because the creator of dead air posted them on to RUclips, there for this mod creator made them playable! You should 100% play dead air its a realy good mod that has 5 other horror inspired songs that are bangers!
