Wow 29 what a lucky girl to now be with you. You two are absolutely adorable together! And what an important video, you showed such patience and happiness at the steps that she’s taking to trust you. It’s such a good reminder and lesson how we/I need to be with our feathers friends.
Agree 100%. My beast is a U2. Early days was 'no' & finger wagging (and getting finger bitten) after being rebuked, 'do you want a cuddle?' Homer shuffles along to apologise with a snug. Parrots are amazingly affectionate and learn quickly. Little bastards.
Wow - that's really quite an age difference! Fantastic progress so far - you must be so proud of her (and yourself!). The fact that you can give her head scritches is amazing and shows such trust! :)
Love your shorts! This is fascinating and so awesome to see her learning and loving life! It's so nice seeing you interacting with you. It's amazing how far she has come and I'm excited to see further training! So nice she will have a fuller more rewarding remainder of her life :)
What ever happened to coco? I haven’t seen any new videos with her. Your initial progress was amazing and she seems like you two bonded quickly. I rescued a 10 year old green wing macaw 3 weeks ago and we are taken it much slower as I know very little about her past. Everyday is a new adventure and we are learning a little more about one another each interaction. I hope one day we too will have strong lasting bond like the both of you.
Craig I really could do with help. I inherited my macaw when my father passed away. She’s 23 now. She loves me and me only, especially when other people are about her behavior becomes very nervous. To train her with her seed do I need to remove her seed for a short while? She constantly has full bowls and I think the only thing she would yearn for are fresh almonds (with shell).
I just picked up a macaw and he has never flew a day. The old owner kept her in a cage and never let him out. Can I still teach him to fly? He is 18 years old
I have 2 new sun conures they Have no issue stepping upand traing recalls but as soon as you try to touch them they will scream and try to bite but they will clean u and give kisses as Long is you don't touch them what should i do to get them to let me pet them they act like normal birds though just no touch
Wowie, already eating all healthy? Congrats! How the hell did you do that? I just got a cockatiel yesterday, I am helping a wildlife rescue that happens to take parrots as well to get « rid of them » so I will be training most of them so that people are more open to adopting them. However it is my first parrot ever, and although I’ve done research I lack practical work. How did you go about changing Coco’s diet? I would love to change that for my new little lad ❤️ thank you for taking care of Coco!
She's absolutely beautiful and deserves life well lived.Thankyou for loving her.♥️🦜

Yes she’s going to stay here and hopefully I can get her integrated with my flock of macaws! 🤞🏼
Nice job!
Her beak and skin looks very healthy for 29. What aviary are you using? And what pellet do you prefer for macaws?
She is gorgeous! So fascinating. Love your channel 😊
Thank you I just adore what I do!
Lovely 😍
Dang, she's older than me!
Im surprised how fast she learns, i would've thought that takes way longer even to this state.
New subscriber here! My family has been enjoying your videos, keep them coming, such beautiful birds ❤️
What a sweet girl! The name Coco really suits her
what type of tree are the branches in your aviary from?

How long are your training sessions? Thank you.

Oh and what kind of rewards do you give to a bird that has been on a full seed diet?
She loves her seeds and nuts as rewards.
I hope she gets to stay with you!
She will 🥰
Did she have an infection in her nose when you got her ?? Looks a little inflamed and flakey
Nope, never been unwell thankfully, Are you referring to the natural shedding on her beak?
I just got one how do you look up the number
I’m coocoo for CoCo!
Can she fly
she's not a little girl. she's a lady!
For sure she’s a lady but she’s my little girl 🥰
