- My Gourmia GAF685 Air Fryer was throwing an E1 error code. I received it as a gift and couldn't get the company to warranty the item for me, so I decided to open it up to figure it out on my own.
Problem: After 1-2 minutes of cook time, E1 error would show up and air fryer would no longer cook.
Solution: Loose contact. Reconnected blue wire contact into connector.
I got mine open and there’s evidence that someone had returned it and someone tried fixing it because there was a screw missing and scuff marks from it being pried open. Don’t recommend buying one of these. Of course, if you’re here… too late?
I also had a Costco bought gourmia with the same damn error e1. Taking it apart was a pain and different from yours but since I pressed the temp sensor plug back it seems to be working fine
Getting the same - mine is a black one from Costco UK - I'm thinking ours may be the same? I can see around 5 or 6 clips rather than 4. Except I cannot get that top lid of for the life of me, which part of the tabs do you need to pry?
Appreciate it, about to try that
Thanks so much!!
I try this with air fryer home elec error code E1 and it's work... thanks
I've just had mine too long I think time for a new one
They left a plug unplugged.
We bought at Costco (Canada)...they take back merchandise whenever, failed units included (that's why you always want to keep the boxes). Not gonna dick around looking for wire fault(s)
One oddball thing to report: We had two of these in the house initially (until second one was given to mom-in-law). The removable cooking drawers were not interchangable....if the drawer A for Machine A was replaced with drawer B from Machine B, Machine A wouldn't start. Machine B worked with both drawers
Very flaky, poorly managed/supervised offshore manufacturing to a low standard = overpriced junk

How did you pop the first top bit off?
I just used something flat to pry up. I believe I just used a flat head screwdriver.
