I was lucky enough to see Eddie play several times for Leeds. He had a very distinctive style, hunching up his shoulders and could ghost past opponents with ease.
As for Chelsea's Ron Harris he was nothing but a talentless hatchet man and somewhere on RUclips there is (or was?) a video of him admitting that after Eddie gave David Webb the runaround in the first leg of the 1970 FA Cup Final that he (Harris) was told to make sure Eddie didn't get the same freedom in the replay. He clattered Eddie who had to be substituted and Chelsea went on to win

Best player I ever saw. Not even debatable. Only player that comes close is Celtics Jinky.
He was a centre midfielder (as was Peter Lorimer) but they couldn't the dislodge the Bremner/Giles axis and forced to play wide.
He played for castlemilk dynamo when he was younger
Eddie was the only guy who came near the best player from the milk namely tony mcbride
