I was lucky enough to see Eddie play several times for Leeds. He had a very distinctive style, hunching up his shoulders and could ghost past opponents with ease.
As for Chelsea's Ron Harris he was nothing but a talentless hatchet man and somewhere on RUclips there is (or was?) a video of him admitting that after Eddie gave David Webb the runaround in the first leg of the 1970 FA Cup Final that he (Harris) was told to make sure Eddie didn't get the same freedom in the replay. He clattered Eddie who had to be substituted and Chelsea went on to win

The Last Waltz, Mr Leeds United, arguably the one player of that generation that modern Leeds fans have the most passionate connection with

@@thewrldsgame Hi, I saw it shared to my YT feed I think, can't remember who by. Some Facebook groups and the Square Ball on Social media would be a good place to start I think

One of the best players, on one of the best teams in the country, and there's barely any footage of him. If he'd been playing today, he'd be a God-King.

Celtic fan, Put Neymar on those Coo field pitches of that era and he could not lace Eddie Grays boots.

"Leeds were chasing an iconic treble, something no club in world football had done before" the team that would knock Leeds out of the European Cup that season had achieved a quadruple three years earler.

He was a centre midfielder (as was Peter Lorimer) but they couldn't the dislodge the Bremner/Giles axis and forced to play wide.

Hiya and very good video thanks as Eddie Gray could be called Mr Eddie Graymar as not just for his wing play talent but for his amenable conduct on the field albeit a dirty Leeds team in comparison to Neymar jr who is a petulant so and so so thanks for reading and cheerio
