good video man! welcome to the kayak community! nothing better than froggin in a yak! looking forward to seeing more yak videos. I love making videos out of mine. the last camera angle looked pretty good.
Glad someone has had some luck on the Jawbone frogs from Dicks, the times iv used it they fill up with water right away and the plastic breaks easy. very cool hook sets.
+apbassing, welcome to kayak fishing! I just got a Feelfree Lure 11.5 this past summer and love it! Having a wider platform really helps. I can stand on my Lure and fish without worrying about taking a swim.
"I can't set the hook too hard" *slams the camera on the next hookset* lol love your videos and I would really like to see more of these kayak fishing videos because I've got one myself. Keep up the good work
NOW you can get into some of those waterfowl and wildlife sanctuaries where no gas motors are allowed- less fishing pressure=big fish and no crowds. Would be cool to see a Kayak fishing video from Emiquon near Havana,Il.
We got to witness AP losing his kayak virginity. Hey Flair caught some toads down in Texas with Rob, Jon and 1rod. He actually got one 7.62 in Robs video this morning. Have a safe trip. Tight Lines!! 🎣🎣🎣
Easily one of my favorite videos of yours AP. Great edit and great content, but I find myself wanting more when you cut the musical transition segments short, especially when you have fat beats like this one! I don't know if it's just me, just a thought
I pretty much only kayak fish mostly for big flatheads (flathead in my profile 48.65 was from my kayak) and bass as well. Its a just the most fun you can get into a lot of water boats cant get in and it makes small water fun. Ive done lake erie and stuff too, but I have a sit on so its a bit safer on those bigger waters if your without a skirt in a sit in. Big flathead dragging a five pound anchor up the river or tossing for bass in fast rapids on the river between big flats boats cant get to...just so much fun. Going to go troll for musky all weekend for the first time from my kayak. AP I fish north west ohio and know the awesome small mouth and other such fishing in the area (and know the people that know) so if you want to fish this area fill free to ask. Awesome video as always.
also thanks for the life jacket man, such an important thing to have on in kayaks and for those who are just getting into it remember take your kayak budget and subtract 200 minimum from the boat budget to get good life vest. Besides the life vest, save for good quality cold water gear as well like good splash pants, wet suit, semi or dry top ect. ect. If the water and air added together is less than 120F your really running a risk so dress right and have the right gear and life vest. 200 dollar reel wont safe your life, 200 dollar wet suit and PFD will.
Good to see you out there fishing from a kayak. I fish the CA delta in my kayak, makes a difference if you can stand in it lol. Keep it up man, really dig your vlogs. Thanks for the inspiration for my vlogs too.
if you get into kayak fishing, invest in a Jackson or Ocean Kayak. Both of them are very good kayaks. I have a Jackson Cuda 12. Post more kayak videos. Maybe even some challenges with kayak fishing?
Kayaks are the way to go man. Obv can't cover as much water, but talk about getting close and personal. Been using a Moken Angler for years now.... Lots of fun!
Hey AP....nice videos. I have a camp on Champlain and dropshot a lot there. Have you ever used wacky rigged lures to dropshot? I probably catch more smallmouth that way than any other.
I bought this same jawbone frog the other day. It was the first frog I have ever bought and for the price couldn't pass it up bc it looked pretty good compared to the 8 dollar strike kings. I had some of my biggest top water blow ups on Tellico Lake and it works great until you get it stuck in a tree 😄
Ap! Just so you're aware, a "sit inside" kayak like you have is the worst type for stability and sink ability. If you were to get a good kayak, get a "sit on top" kayak. It won't fill with water if you flip it, plus they are so so so much more stable. Like enough that you can comfortably stand on them. Just figured I'd let you know. Keep fishin AP!
Something I really want to get into but I either need to figure out a roof rack or get a truck. Would probably help if I learned how to catch fish from shore too lol
You need to make sure your brakes and drag are set properly and you can cast very light lures. I am going to make a video on my channel so go subscribe
If you want to stand up and fish for around 500$ and be very stable with tons of room, get an LL Bean Cascadia (Lifetime Warranty). Trust me! If you dont have an LL Bean, the main stream version is called the "Perception Striker" and is a bit cheaper and the exact same thing. Tons of reviews and vids on RUclips too! I have the LL bean version and love it. Comes with anchor, 2 scotty rod holders, a seat, and a matching paddle.
You could put your GoPro on a stick and mount it to the back of your kayak. So we see everything you see and no hitting the camera when you set the hook
Hey I kayak fish and video a lot and was wondering if you had an opinion on the angles you used in this video? I have done both and don't know which one is better. Thanks!
I thought this was going to be about losing your virginity
That hasn't happened yet though
😂😂 oh lord
Hahahahahahaaha
That's what I thought but noticed the video is too long
Kayak fishing is a blast. Excited to see some more AP Kayaking videos.
Kayak fishing is just awesome because you can go places you would normally not be able to get to even with a bass boat. Great video.
Im so glad peric got this kayak. Knowing him he will flip it in no time and its gonna be hilarious
been watching for a while. by far one of your best fishing vids. catch up with the squad. great vid!
New adventures on old water always makes for a good day. Would love to fish some old ponds from a kayak. Scott - CCB.
You are quickly becoming my favorite youtube fishermen! Keep up the great content!
good video man! welcome to the kayak community! nothing better than froggin in a yak! looking forward to seeing more yak videos. I love making videos out of mine. the last camera angle looked pretty good.
Way to go Peric... at 9:58 "remember always stop fishing" lmao classic.
so glad you got a kayak. kayak fishing is my drug! glad to see some youtubers doing it
Glad someone has had some luck on the Jawbone frogs from Dicks, the times iv used it they fill up with water right away and the plastic breaks easy. very cool hook sets.
I realy enjoyed today's video AP , keep it up man !
+apbassing, welcome to kayak fishing! I just got a Feelfree Lure 11.5 this past summer and love it!
Having a wider platform really helps. I can stand on my Lure and fish without worrying about taking a swim.
Bro, you just went up on my fav fishing youtubers list. More kayak fishing videos!
"I can't set the hook too hard" *slams the camera on the next hookset* lol love your videos and I would really like to see more of these kayak fishing videos because I've got one myself. Keep up the good work

Awesome catches, that guy was cool as hell for letting you use his property!
Dued love the fact that ur trying new things kayak fishing is some of my favorite fishing
im so glad you faced the camera towards yourself, those hook set faces are fantastic
Easily one of my favorite videos of yours AP. Great edit and great content, but I find myself wanting more when you cut the musical transition segments short, especially when you have fat beats like this one! I don't know if it's just me, just a thought

Kayak bassin, nothin like it.
Great vid AP
Good to see you out there fishing from a kayak. I fish the CA delta in my kayak, makes a difference if you can stand in it lol. Keep it up man, really dig your vlogs. Thanks for the inspiration for my vlogs too.
It's great to see you yakin ... you should start an 'apyakin' series 🐟
Those are my favorite frogs. That company makes solid ass baits. The lipless and squarebills are the truth.
id like to see a video where you use a rapala dt16 crawfish pattern by the way if youre ever in Pensylvania try out lake nocamixon
if you get into kayak fishing, invest in a Jackson or Ocean Kayak. Both of them are very good kayaks. I have a Jackson Cuda 12. Post more kayak videos. Maybe even some challenges with kayak fishing?
continue doing kayak fishin. dopeness
That's awesome that you shop at Dick's Sporting Goods! I work there in the lodge! Tight lines AP
Kayaks are the way to go man. Obv can't cover as much water, but talk about getting close and personal. Been using a Moken Angler for years now.... Lots of fun!
great video !!! I like the camera change angle
You should get one of those hat mounts for go pros for kayak fishing
Hey AP....nice videos. I have a camp on Champlain and dropshot a lot there. Have you ever used wacky rigged lures to dropshot? I probably catch more smallmouth that way than any other.
I have the same kayak AP! Sweet!
"Got ya that time sucka"
😂😂 I feel the same way!

Alex you get a new truck???? Your not driving the ford anymore just wondering if the chevy is yours too?
+Seth Sherman dad's car. Using it when I was back in town.
Kayak fishing rocks!
kayak fishing is the only way to fish
Agree
Yep its all I do!
Something I really want to get into but I either need to figure out a roof rack or get a truck. Would probably help if I learned how to catch fish from shore too lol
When's Peric fishing the bassmaster classic?
I love the black frog
I must try kayak fishing. enjoyed the video.
Are you going to switch to favorite rods also?
Great video Ap!
Did peric say always stop fishing on the outro
Yeah that cheap $3 frog got me my PB. No worries though. You're the man AP. Keep em coming.
2:15 that fish wasn't getting off 😂😂😁. Lmao
Hey AP try putting the go pro behind you facing your back so we can see you fishing, thanks for the awesome vids
I would like to get a kayak for fishing mainly, should I get a "sit in" or "sit on" ? any preferences.
hey love your vids. I would love a few small pond tips video.
another great vid ap!
what kind of swim baits where they? And what size hook do you prefer?
jawbone has good lures for the price...the mice are decent as well
Just started using bait casters, how on earth do you cast that light frog so hard/far without a backlash?
it's hard at first but after about 5-10 fishing trips you should get used to it
Make sure your settings are right
You need to make sure your brakes and drag are set properly and you can cast very light lures. I am going to make a video on my channel so go subscribe
Practice. Now what's really hard is casting a weightless senko/trickworm.
thanks everyone, Richbassin, I clicked your name and its a 404 error lol
you should use a headcam with the kayak
Great video. What kayak was that?
I got the same kayak! Awesome vid
If you want to stand up and fish for around 500$ and be very stable with tons of room, get an LL Bean Cascadia (Lifetime Warranty). Trust me! Ps. I'm 6 foot 195 pounds and I fish standing up in this 80% of the time and turn around standing up with no issues 🤘🏼.
About time you get in that kayak kid . Come up to Minnesota and kayak some Muskie
9:58 "remember, always stop fishing" 😂 whoops
do a video on how you tie your hooks and all on!!!
What do you recommend for lipless crank baits? Brand/color?
Head mount works better in the yak in my opinion! Sweet vid as always though AP!
You could put your GoPro on a stick and mount it to the back of your kayak. So we see everything you see and no hitting the camera when you set the hook
What line cutters do you use?
What reels have you been using
Hey where in Texas will y'all be fishing?
at the end you said "remember always stop fishing" 😂
What brand of braid were you using?
that camera case is taking a beating
I have several of those frogs I can't think of the brand's name but for the price of the frog they compete easily with spro. Well for me at least.
Awesome kayak video
Ap get a head mount for the kayak.
Hey I kayak fish and video a lot and was wondering if you had an opinion on the angles you used in this video? I have done both and don't know which one is better. Thanks!
Makes me miss my float tube Good Stuff
I have the same Jawbone Tackle Frog.
What kind of knot was that that you tied on the second frog?
Cool vid peric 👍👍🎣🎣
looking to get a new reel what would you do you think i should get? i could spend 300
Love catching big fish from the yak
What way do you use to tie your hooks
Hey ap why do you have a plunger in your garage
Mount the GoPro to either the front or back of the camera
What brand of braided line do you use??
What is the name of those swim baits that he was using?
What type of knot do you use
Awesome video AP
Ap do u trim ur skirts on ur frogs if Thayer are different lengths??
i only use those frongs the lunkerhuts break and fall apart way too easy
I was honestly waiting for u to set the hook too hard and flip😂
About time you decide to yak fish!
You should have gone to Texas! They caught some monsters!!
yeah it would of been cool seeing everyone fish together.
probably because he and flair have beef. idk why.
New video "lettus throws down on the water"
what knot are you using
I would love to be able to meet you and maybe even fish with you. I live an hour and a half away from Tuscaloosa. Keep up the great vids!
Was that a Booyah frog?
what reel do you use?
Nothing better than the thrill of being towed by a toad!
What are the specs of your jon boat and trolling motor on it. Please respond I'm in the market for one
