I'm white af, not an ounce of Latino blood in my body, but I'd kill for a heaping bowl of pozole with some limes on the side! It's so damn good! I had a neighbor who's family is half Mexican and they would invite us over for some parties and dinners and pozole was by far my favorite!

Not Hispanic but i can relate to the pazole. My family makes a chili that we continue to add ingredients to for about a month at a time. Each time you reheta it its a little different but it does get annoying after a while.

Personally I love it! I love different cultures and languages, and it's funny to see how many similarities there might be..if any of course. I'm British so I can't say we ever had pozole, or any meal for an entire month...the soups and stews would start to show their head though. The thermostat was NEVER touched, we don't really have air conditioning in houses. If you left the light on in a room you would be asked if you were raised in a barn or if you were dragged up. One foot out of line in the supermarket with Mum resulted in the death glare, a firm but an international warning I find 😅

The mom in this video is my mom during the winter. Because all I ate was soup and she would tell me to put on a bunch of jackets. And one time I got the flu and she said it was for being “ descalzos ” and I ended up eating nothing but soup for an entire week.
