- YAYYY ONE OF MY PROJECTS IS DONE lol. I unveil to you my new series “WEIRD BARBIE” it’s for the loved to death Barbie’s that need more than a simple restoration. These Barbie’s need more than prayers, they need a doctor! And since they don’t have health insurance I guess I’ll do. In my “Weird Barbie” series we will do restoration of all kinds. Meanwhile trying to keep her original integrity.
In this particular video we wash her well, restyle her hair, repaint, and reroot. She truly will get all the works! I have more planned for my series and it will only get bigger and better!

Great restoration, and loved her outfit!! It reminded me of that Get Ups N' Go outfit from 1976 with the gold brocade skirt, gold top and gold turban... I 've always loved that outfit since I was a kid, And I've always loved the Fashion Photo dolls, because they go back to the original Barbie vocation, which was 'Teenage Fashion Model' ... and they move!! 🥰 I sorely wanted Fashion Photo P.J. or Christie when I was a kid, but they were impossible to find here in Australia back then. I also almost got Fashion Photo Barbie, but somehow never did back then. (I have three now! Two were NRFB.... and I also have two Fashion Photo P.J.s, both MIB...Though Christie still eludes me. 😪) I so envy your eyebrow painting... it is so accurate! I'm good with lips but never happy with my eyebrows. LOL
Thank you!! I’d like to get that fashion eventually, I keep my eyes peeled for any superstar barbie era items! Did you have it as a kid? Fashion photo barbie was my first ever superstar era doll. I got her at a flea market, and she was beaten. I thought she was superstar barbie, and her body really sent me through it, and I wondered why she moved the way she did. Wasn’t till I was older I figured out what she was, but at that time she was already gone. She was beaten badly by her previous owner and play with me I’m sure was no better. The Hawaiian Barbie I got with her though I still have, and she is in great condition considering she survived two childhoods! I later got a fashion photo barbie boxed at a doll show, and she was my favorite for a while. That’s until I broke her stand by accident lol 😂 now she’s just a beautiful doll! I found Christie’s head, and have her on a normal body till I can get her a body. But I just got one of my grails! A minty superstar Christie! I saw her years ago mint in the box for 125, and I’ve regretted it ever since not getting her. So when I saw her for around the same price, although not boxed, I decided to get her. So I have added her to my party lol 😂

@@Joy-jl1nk thank you!!!! Yes, I realized that this morning. The audio I didn’t think was copyrighted, but infact it was. I’ll have to fix that sometime! Currently new content is what’s on the priority list, as I wanna keep the series going. But I learned a lesson, not to use that background audio lol
Please fix the audio. I really want to know about the partial rerooting and thatching process. Also, what color did you use?
@@ericabirchum493 I am actually going to be making a whole video dedicated to rerooting and partial, and thatching is already filmed, just needs to be edited! I had to remove the audio because I got copyrighted. I don’t know what I said to get me copyright claimed, but I’m going to release their own dedicated videos! Bear with me for some exciting new content!:) the color I used actually is about 5 years old. It’s a random blonde I picked up in my years of restoring. I got it from restore doll. And it was Malibu blonde, at that time. Now they give a dark option and light option. Mines more on the golden side so I would buy dark Malibu blonde. Years ago there was only one option.
