Pretty Jealous, not gonna lie. Mine are on the way though!! I heard the designer of Gnawgahyde modeled the teeth after his own, I assume the dude has an under-bite, not entirely sure as I've never seen him. All of the Dreadnoks thus far have been awesome, wasn't a fan of Buzzer's shades but I can easily look past them. These 2 on the other hand look like home runs for sure. Also dont ever feel the need to apologize for your opinions, you've said nothing offensive, You're a class act brother.
Love these updated sculpts and details. Although the paint apps could use a little more QC it’s doesn’t take away from overall impression. The weight of the flame effect seemed to be dragging the arms down, would it hold up in that pose?
Glistening Gains with all his Glorious Toys. Love the review classified is what brought me back to collecting and these two look awesome can’t wait till mine arrive.
Im with u on the packaging. Looking forward to getting Torch. Never cares much Gnawgbro but I’m sure I’ll add him in time. Nice review! Looks like Lowlight’s case.
I didn’t even know these guys were out. The Dreadnocks were my favorite as a kid. What really bums me out is that Hasbro still hasn’t fixed the gummy weapons/accessories issue. Well, maybe Bobby will make a compound bow in a weapons pack soon.
Torch is Badass! Gnawga is cool too, but wish we got Monkey Wrench or Road Pig first. I can't wait for these to show up next week :) Thanks for the great video.
Hi Gains. Very good figures. I'm still waiting "nonpatiently" for Hasbro to send my orders (lots of preorders moved from july to august to be released for europeans). I see a bunch of youtubers are making reviews of these 2 guys this week.👍 The details are awesome. I think Classified Joes are a mix of star wars black series and marvel legends figures. Details, accesories, articulation, great sculpts. They have things in common and differences with their highs and lows. 🤷🏽♀️ I would like to point about the packaging. I'm a graphic designer and to me, looks like hasbro is trying to find the best one, not yet... If I'm right, this is the 5th design. (Regular, not including deluxes) The first one may be one of the bests, window packaging and art on the side, battle stats on the other side, but the back was poor (single art common depending on waves). The second design hides the figure, no plastic at all, front all artwork and kinda profile pictures of what's inside on the back, didn't work well. The third almost the same as second but front renders with action was an improvement. The forth was a mix of the first and third with plastic window showing the stuff, render action on the back and as always, art and stats on the sides but also a little art on the front right corner, dark tones box. This last one 5th design is quite the same as the 4th but misses that art on the corner and makes it look even darker in general. (From what I've seen looks like this box is quite smaller than others? Or maybe not, I don't have any of the new ones in hand yet)🤔 To me, the best is the forth design, mixing the first and third. (Window, art, renders) Oh yes...and the baaaarrrcoooode!! 😂 I don't have instagram or youtube channel but I'd like to describe and compare all this stuff. Toy packaging is my thing 🥰 (been doing custom packagins for friends for long time). Anyway, thanks for the review and see you next video 🤘 And congrats to those who read all my shit 😂😂 thanks Regards from Spain.
I stay away from this and Transformers it these look great and most,y every figure line makes us do something to them, do You and be happy is what ispts all about.
People complaining about the packaging is hilarious to me. Everyone complained about the windowless and now they're all pointing out how nice the art on the windowless was. I get it, there's a happy medium, where we have just better looking window packaging--but it's still quite funny. Honestly, I just love the artwork on the sides and wish they'd feature that more prominently somehow. The awful Zarana and Cover Girl artwork aside, we've had some amazing art over the years. Major Bludd's artwork remains my favorite.
@@Toygains I don't like the shape of the Masterverse packaging, but I'm entirely on board with how they dedicate the back of the box entirely to the artwork. The new GI Joe boxes need to make better use of real estate. And, honestly, the sort of muted blues don't really do the figures any favors on shelves. Masterverse does stand out more.
Arguing that Valaverse influenced GI Joes for the tattoos might be the silliest argument I've heard in quite some time. Valaverse Wave One had no characters with tattoos. Condor was literally a scaled up Mouse from the Retaliation GI Joe 3.75 figures. You can't get more derivative. Wave Two had who? Desert Rat? This is a character that few people ended up even getting, who is based off of an Action Force figure from 1980? Are you actually arguing that Pandora, released like two months before Rock N Roll, somehow influenced Hasbro to add tattoos to their entire line? What? Then there's the fact that these characters existed as O-Ring figures with tattoos. Gnawgahyde had tattoos. Shipwreck had tattoos. Mercenary had tattoos. Gung-Ho had tattoos. Road Pig had tattoos. Buzzer had tattoos. Did Vala travel back in time to the 80s and "influence" the creators of those figures to add tattoos? Jesus, Roadblock, NUMBER ONE IN THE ENTIRE LINE, was given tattoos that he didn't have as an O-Ring. This was in 2020, before Valaverse ever even existed. That's right, they added tats to the VERY FIRST WIDELY RELEASED FIGURE IN THE ENTIRE LINE. How in the F did Valaverse "do it first"? Also, the characters they added tattoos to in the line make absolute sense. Guys who are punk, like Ripper and Torch, would probably have piercings and tattoos. Guys who are vanilla as hell, like Rock N Roll and Clutch get tattoos to add flavor. Saying that Valaverse "did it first" is probably the silliest thing I've ever heard, when Valaverse--and don't get me wrong, I like having Valaverse around for the variety--is basically a spite brand that eagerly snatches up trademarks Hasbro lets lapse (Action Force, Steel Brigade, Desert Rat, etc.) and outright copies Joe designs on the reg (Condor, as I previously stated was Mouse--and then his second attire was a Chuckles knock-off). In fact, Valaverse's designs are so incredibly vanilla, it hampers their entire line. The only interesting character in the upcoming wave is Col. Siege (who looks like Frank Grillo). I will always appreciate my Tim Kennedy figure, but don't give people the idea that Valaverse influenced Hasbro into giving more tats to characters, when one of the characters you are reviewing literally had a tattoo as an O-Ring figure decades ago. You said this is your opinion and you're sticking to it, but you are objectively WRONG. Roadblock (Classified 01) was the first character in this scale to receive tattoos that he didn't originally have. Since then they've added tats to characters that made sense and retained tats for other characters (or altered them slightly, so to make them less lame, like Gnawgahyde with his crossed out Joe tattoo being transformed into an anarchy symbol more similar to something Road Pig had).
I forgot that Wave 1 Roadblock has Tattoos and his Kimbo Slice look, so you're entirely correct. Tattoos aside. I remember when the buzz started happening for Valaverse and Classified had fans but mostly because of how good the Cobra troops looked. Then the line shifted and had more effort put into them. To think Valaverse had nothing to do with that is also "silly". Competition breeds innovation.
@@Toygains I think the biggest change was inspired by how poorly the movie figures were received. They realized how out-of-touch they were with what people wanted in terms of modernization and they began to implement a process that utilized more of the original designs for the characters. The biggest misfires of the entire Classified line were the awful movie figures for the awful movie. If Valaverse were to inspire anything, I'd hope it'd be the inclusion of more hands. Valaverse has the hands thing down. However, character designs leave a lot to be desired. Even in their most recent wave with their silly samurai character, I just can't help but to be unimpressed by Valaverse's mediocrity. I'll give them Col. Siege, but the other guys are just so unimpressive. I get that they'll never have the advantage in terms of nostalgia, but they could still work to have more interesting characters (they at least have a couple points of interest like Eclipse and the new camo sniper fig).
Buzzer, Ripper & Torch were my favorites as a kid. I love the Classified versions & need to get some 1/12 bikes for them!
Oh damn now I'm gonna hunt motorcycles at toy shows
Excellent job 👏😃
Thanks Ricky!

Thank for detailing what all the boxes did. And I Agee they are like a mix of every Hasbro line.
Great reviews!!!
Thanks Tim!
Hasbro has been doing some amazing animals. I want as many as possible to put with Ka-Zar and Zabu. I wish they would do a giant ant for Ant-Man.
Hell yeah. They are probably the best ones doing them. Maybe by default because not a lot of companies are, but still.
Nice Bro! 🤘
Da mayor!
I'm so excited to get these 2. Dredknoks are my shit
They rule. We need a thunder machine !
Lemmy fire master 🔥🔥🔥
DREDNOKS!🔥🤘 Can't wait for mine to ship also looking forward Zandar and Monkeywrench when they finally release! Great review bud!👊
Thanks! Yeah we're not too far from having the whole crew now.
Best intro on the internet.
Thanks NA. Very kind. Wanted something fun and weird. Glad you like it.
Love the way they made Torch look like Lemmy but why in the hell did they not make his glasses removable?!
It's weird. Some figures get that some don't.

Look at the new Masterverse packaging. Best of both worlds. A window and a lot of space given to the art.
