What's your favorite classic NES beat-'em-up?
Extra Lives I love Double Dragon (3 was my favorite for Nintendo), but I think River City Ransom was my favorite beat 'em up.
Side note: if you haven't heard the soundtrack for Double Dragon Neon, check it out. Jake Kaufman did a phenomenal job with it.

Thank you, Ryan! We've never gotten feedback about that before... can you be a little more specific on what you like about it (and maybe why)? No pressure, but understanding it better could help us do more of it in the future.
If I had to compare your playlists to other channels the big difference I see is that many others are separated by things like popularity or chronology. Very similar to television programming.
What I love is the utility of your playlists. Comprehensive like a shop or service. Browse by Console, franchise, company. VERY CLEAN. It tickles my brain in all the right ways. If anyone else on youtube is doing this then I missed it. I can't believe no one else has complimented that yet!

We don't have a lot of understanding of playlists and things like that so we arranged it intuitively according to how we thought would be most fun by our own geeky standards. Your thorough feedback on it both feels good and is helpful - we'll continue doing this, and of course if we start accumulating a ton of material on a category not represented we'll develop a new one.

This brings back a few memories... I remember playing Double Dragon on this weird cartridge, I believe it was something like 100+ NES games in one - every kid's dream. Also, does anyone else remember the crappy 1994 D.D. movie? It scored glorious 3,7 points out of 10 on IMDb LMAO
