The Book of Mormon also has many layers and lead to the temple and to Christ!!! It’s pretty mind boggling!!!

@@aliciaparrish9744 I recommend watching all her videos in order. She's building a structure for us to learn, so it's best to watch and study in order. It only takes a few weeks to catch up. (I'm almost there now myself.) I haven't seen her actually using the diagram onscreen in the way you're thinking, but she does sometimes just make a note or two while talking, especially in the earlier videos. There's also a comment on one of the videos about how a viewer (like us) is using it, and she complimented that approach.

I love all your videos. I was pondering about your question about Nephi putting on Laban's clothes. What if killing Laban is symbolic of us killing the natural man/overcoming the world and putting on the robes of righteousness and carrying the sword of truth into the terrestrial world/holy place. If it was symbolic of us killing the natural man and then all that is left is the spiritual man who then can confidently put back on his own robes of righteousness that have become clean through Christ's Atonement. Hopefully, this makes sense. 😂
Do you think that’s just the beginning of putting off the natural man? And there finally sacrifice of it is like Christs final sacrifice? Like that natural man sacrifice continues till the end?

Exodus 14:27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
David slew Galiath and a donkey in the bible spoke God works in mysterious ways the plates were that important to obtain and Nephi had his faith tested like when God told Abraham to kill Isac

Have you read Lectures on Faith? Joseph Smith points out that the only way to develop sufficient faith is if you know the true nature of God. It sounds to me like we need to know Him and His nature accurately, which would then demand also referring to Him accurately.
