"No man can look within himself and find anything in his character that will recommend him to God, or make his acceptance sure. It is only through Jesus, whom the Father gave for the life of the world, that the sinner may find access to God." ( God's Amazing Grace page 183)

It's true that Jesus healed on the Sabbath. Jesus, however, didn't collect wages for His good deeds. I believe that's where the angst and rub present, unsettling the conscience, and where prayerful, Holy Spirit inspired decisions/actions are needed to safeguard against carelessness and to maintain a conscience void of offense toward man and God.

I can't imagine any Christian loving the "doctrine of Hell". I can't understand how any Christian would want ANYONE to go to Hell. When 'God" got me right, maybe from one of John Bradshaw's messages I heard "How much do you have to hate someone to not give them the gospel?" Whether Hell is Eternal or it ends, I hopefully will not personally find out . . . .

What was the crime of the Amalekites that God commanded King Saul to even kill infants and children in 1Samuel 15: 3
