I must be missing something. I mean, this album is good but it's almost becoming by the numbers for Josh Scogin. He used to be very distinct, now he sounds like anyone else
This record sounded way too much like Norma Jean's third to last record "meridonial". They went completely backwards. Its all poppy....What happened to the country grit from the first record, that was way better and more authentic preception of the sound .
The whole record is incredible, but this song is beyond unreal. Thank you for your service.

Im not feelin this at all. He even described it as an indescribable genre to not be labeled. Now it looks like a 2000s emo made for radio.
@@xtenthfloorx yeah. Theres definitely a fine line between abstract music and just flat out bad music. This album teeters closer to the latter
