Just as Indian Political Thought answers year-based questions and 10 questions for each thinker, Western Political Thought will benefit greatly if you follow that rule. Thank You Sir
The divison of labour in Aristotle's ideal society. A city-state of medium size was the best state. {It should be self sufficient and free of any hostile intetions towards other nations} According to Aristotle this was the best state...😊
I want to raise one question, Did plato focus on State rather than Individual , because as far as i know , plato attempt a treatment of the crisis ridden Greek Civilization , and particularly his master's death compelled him to do so . And justice is the heart of his dialogue, " The Republic," which is the quest for harmony. Both Plato and Aristotle treated political questions , morally .. ie. The life of state is nothing but the life of Individual, writ large ( Plato ) In Aristotle 's teleology , the end goal of a man is happiness ( eudimonia ) , and this is where the ultimate stage of his teleology " state " comes in which create the milliuex for a Individual to live his life happily.
