I'm thinking of doing a bit of an overhaul soon, was thinking of replacing the conrods to a beefier ones.. lets say the block is still on the car without the head, is it possible to remove the conrods in a way without taking the crankshaft off? I know its stupid but at the moment i dont have the means to remove the tranny to get the crankshaft out
You need to remove the crankcase cover to unscrew the heels of the connecting rod and then remove the pistons and connecting rods, you do not need to remove the block and remove the transmission for this procedure
Mislim i dalje da je jeftinije i lepse raditi na pravom S3 nego obican a 3 pa prepravke. Iz vise razloga. Nema enterijes kao S3 ni kocnice ni vesanje. Ali ok Neko voli i ovako da se igra. Ja sam pristalica orginala ali da je varijanta sleeper

No this engine can handle 300hp easily on Stock internals if you go above that you better do it but otherwise not worth it
