Shoutouts to Polyphony for including the crossbar grille as well as the C-West & Varis-esque (with the widebody) front bumpers. The crossbar grille has been a staple of Evo tuning culture for quite a good while now and the C-West & Varis front bumpers have their own dedicated fans as well. Kinda wish they added something akin to the Voltex widebody too, but I'll take what I can get for the time being.
A fan favorite car, and ofc they're getting the sound right. Some people might think that 3 cars per month aren't enough, but i'm quite happy with how accurate they are. Quality over quantity for me
I remember when the Honda Civic Type R Gran Turismo convert was released for AC, I only drove that thing for a whole week, and this could be said about Gran Turismo too as you know when they bring something it will be in the best quality you can imagine
@@gavcom4060everyone wants more of course but considering the insane quality these cars have (you will appreciate it even more if you are a 3D modeler) you can't expect more Modeling a Z GT500 took me 5 months and it's not even half as detailed as a Gran Turismo model and doesn't have separate tuning options And let's not forget how Gran Turismo models are built with basically unlimited subdivision in mind There are models made for race and models made for high-quality showcases, all having incredible good topology which is rare Who in their idiot mind would prefer recycled standard car or Forza quality assets in a game that is known for its outstanding models

You know what's best for this Evo? Anyone can now recreate the Drift Evo from Tokyo Drift, driven by Sean. However, it is based on this one, as the front bumper in the drift car is the Evo VIII, as some people might think of it as an Evo VIII. Me? I want to take a look how gorgeous this last 4G63T legend is. I definitely liked all generations of Lancer Evo. But If Evos VII GSR and VIII MR GSR were yet to return to complete the CT9A trio, I'd give Polyphony their full-time to remodel them to have the true PS4/PS5 quality. Respect to PD and Yamauchi-san! ✊ And fact is: the Evo IX in Gran Turismo first represented as a 2005 GSR in PS3 titles. And now, it came back as the powerful MR Edition in GT7, with BBS wheels, Upgraded engine power from 269HP to 277HP, and from 5-speed Manual to 6-speed Manual transmission upgrade, this feels alot more better than having the standard GSR! I love how it returned to Gran Turismo world with an upgraded version.
@@Eliseu05 Drivetrain swap to RWD. But unfortunately, it’s not yet implemented in-game. Don’t worry, unless if they figure out to add it, time can tell..
It's very unbelievable how they went from 2005 GSR from the PS3 games to the 2006 MR GSR in GT7. I guess Polyphony managed to remodel the Evo 9 all over again and at the same time, they upgraded it to a more powerful version! I guess it's because the standard Evo IX GSR couldn't suit well for a next-gen game like this. I even noticed how the Forza model of this Evo is inaccurate like the headlights sticking out.
@@andreasmoller9798 I agree the fact that Forza didn’t treat most of these JDM cars well by inaccurately modeling them. GT on the other hand treats all kinds of cars with passion, love, and respect, as well as perfectly modeling cars to the way they look IRL.
