    I bean shredding many years and have a collection of boards. As soon as I seen how much fun my friend was having riding his cool bean I had to get one... well now I own a 144 and a 150 Bean, I have size 13feet. no chance of toe hang! Cool Bean rocks the trees unlike any other, and it rips the groomers on warm days! This is a kick ass snowboard. A definite must for those who love to shred in the trees.

      @dude1000 would this board not be so great for a tall person? I'm 6' 4 and I assume if you've got 13 feet, you're tall too. This board is so short, I'm worried about my height

    Nice introspective on those that say they can't turn on this board! Ha!
    I got a size 9 so.. I might not pull the trigger on this one. That said; however, I do love those long sweeping turns AND weaving my way around the turtles out there so.. I'm still stuck on the fence with Cool Bean. 2019 base looks so nice, though!

    Yo Angry!
    I wanna just say kudos for putting all of these reviews out. They are a ton of help!
    I'm super torn between three boards right now, the K2 Cool Bean, Party Platter, and Joy Driver. All pretty different in respect to each other, but I've grown up a K2 fanboy and am looking for something with a surfy feel. I've demo'd the K2 Cool Bean before and really liked, but what do you think about having only one of them? If you had to pick of the three which one would you go with?
    Best,
    Kenji

      It comes down to what you want most from the board. As you said you want something surfy, that means the Joy Driver is completely off the table as it's a hard charging aggressive board. The Party Platter would probably be the surfiest one of the three and it's versatile enough to go all over the mountain.

    Hi angry! I’m a surfers and I’m looking for the best surfstyle snowboard to go in to the trees and also on a wide powder field, which board you suggest me? I was looking the cool bean, the sushi, the capita slush, the bataleon Surfers and the storm chaser. I’m 5.7 63kg thanks for your advice and rock on mate!

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  4 года назад

      The Bataleon Surfer would be the best from that list but I'd say get the Bataleon Party Wave over it.

    Hey avran, I know you said it can turn and carve big long turns. Would you say it's not good for a lot turning thru trees?
    And if I wanted something great for pow like the cool bean but is great in tight trees, what would you recommend? I can't find an MC Wayfinder in stock.

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  3 года назад +1

      It's not the most torsionally soft board which is where it lacks in trees. I'm a big fan of the Telos Backslash for tree riding.

    At some point do you think you will be reviewing any of the Nitro Quiver series?

    Would a 150, be too much board for a size 8 boot and 80kg in weight?

    Will size 144cm fit for 130lbs, 5.5ft? Or is it better to take 138cm?

    Hi Angry!
    While doing some resaerch for a new board and considering the Cool Bean because of it's capabilities in powder, and like you said I heared it would carve well, I came across a video on your website about a Dupraz DI and am now torn between these two...a Cool Bean or a Dupraz 5,5.
    Have you ridden a Dupraz too and how do they compare?
    The difference in length is massive, so what are the pros and cons of one over the other?
    Thanks in advance!

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  6 лет назад

      Haven't ridden the Dupraz stuff yet. Not sure if I can this year or not.

      Thx for your response!
      Really like your review-style, especially one of your latest on the Cold Brew.
      Would be awsome to get your insight about the Dupraz too.
      Keep on the good work!

      Yes? No? I don't know. It's all about your weight not height.

  • @Lew1414

    Am I fucking moron for wanting this board on the east coast? Like there's no chance this maneuvers well in trees, correct?

    • @AngrySnowboarder
      @AngrySnowboarder  2 года назад

      It’s a fun groomer board. Takes more effort in the trees due to the rigidity of the torsional flex.
