I skipped a grade when I was really little, I went from 1st to 2nd. A lot of the teachers were curious about my potential because on the first day of 1st grade we filled out a worksheet on multiplying and dividing and nobody knew how to do it but I was filling it out no problem. So I saw teachers talking and looking over at me and then my teacher said "Emma how about tomorrow you can go to the 2nd grade classroom" And I didn't realize why they wanted me to go there but I did and I would be there from morning to noon and after lunch I would go back to the 1st grade. I eventually stopped going and stayed in 2nd grade when I was supposed to be in 1st. If it wasn't for me grandma I wouldn't have skipped a grade. (Bonus story) I also remember though how I had been in 2nd grade and then summer started, but since I skipped from 1st to 2nd I assumed that once school started again I would be in 3rd grade but they told me I was being held back and had to sit in 2nd grade again. I was really confused but eventually I got put back in 3rd grade.

nobody cares, seriously stop acting as if you are some genius, very easy to skip grades in some school systems these days. you are ridiculous. your average joe could probably skip a grade and end up fine after a little catchup work

I want to see the aftermath of what happens to the kids who skipped too many grades. My dad skipped 7 grades, he is a socially awkward loner who had not much going on for him and lives a miserable life. People need to realize how skipping grades aren’t some sort of badge of honor. You need to grow with your peers. When you friends in class are driving, you can’t even get a permit. When your friends are doing their age appropriate things, you can’t and don’t want to bc you are not biologically ready. What happens at the end? You never belong anywhere.
