From my experience about mosques in China….500, 600 years old mosques consider as new mosques.. There is a lot of 1000 years old mosques in China .. Da pan ji/ big plate chicken is my favourite chicken dish in China usually cooked by Uygur chef… not to be found in Malaysia Stay safe and stay happy
Mosques in China is always surrounded by little park, that's make peaceful and quiet vibes, it's good for pray, make us more focus In my country, mosque so close to the street, imagine when you are praying you can also hear a lot of sounds from motorcycle and cars

in my hometown also has same culinary like this baojiang tofu, but without Potatoes and different sauce for it,, we use spicy fermentated shrimp paste jelly as dipping sauce

Viona & Ma, you should showing us the Zhao Ying tower / Fortress before the grand mosque of Jianshui. Zhao Yang Tower is the landmark of Jianshui County and there is a muslim street which close to that area and if I'm not mistaken it's name should be " 青龙‘ street though. As in it is doable to do a Zuhr in this mosque then later Asr you can just do in another mosque...you know like in Kuala Lumpur. We can pray 5 times anywhere because mosque is everywhere we are. I’m Muslim in America, most of the big mosques here will have a separate area for women to pray and many women go to the mosques on Jumah, along with the children. The small mosques where I live will not have a separate area so the women only go to the larger mosques
