If you are new here, I am Ashley and I operate TWO Etsy embroidery shops full time from my home studio. Over 3 years ago, I traded in my RN job and stethoscope to stay home and operate my businesses full time when I could no longer keep up with both! Now I have a beautiful little girl at home with me (and another baby on the way) that keeps me busy alongside my shops.

Hi Ashley, love watching your videos. Wondering what is the info on the iron that you just used. I don't see it listed. I need a lightweight iron because of needing shoulder surgery and this iron looks interesting. Thank you.
I use a basic shark standard iron as well as the mini heat press (it is an Amazon version of a cricut mini press).

They were about 2-2.5" in height based on the size of the trunks.

Hi Ashley, thank you for your videos. Quick question do you use the same needles for all your projects? For example for AJ blanks kids t-shirt vs a bunny? I'm confused on if I should use ballpoint vs regular 75/11 needles, have Baby Lock Enterprise 10 needle machine. Thanks
I do use the same ones 99.9% of the time. I use the Organ EBBR needles that are designed for the Brother/Babylock multineedles and they have a slight ball point.

How do you price your work?
Where do you get your jackets and your shirts?
I buy most wholesale from Sanmar. Pricing I figure in my blank costs, overhead costs, plus my own time/profit charge. Then add an estimated shipping amount (since I do "free" shipping) and percentage to cover selling fees to come up with my selling price.
