I'm not even sure why they're doing this except EVERYBODY's trying to jump on the Kanye-Success bandwagon. Garner clicks by reviewing the #1-Album on the Billboard charts --- 5-different genres (Rap, Hip-Hop/R&B, Gospel, Christian, Pop).

Admittedly, I don't listen to a lot of Christian albums, but the ones I listen to TYPICALLY DO NOT sound like JIK. Not sure what this guy's referring to.

The one on the left is very biased (religious mentality), the one on the right is giving him a chance (Christian mentality). I hope the one on the right writes a book on giving second chances. It will be a best seller.
“Even if I take this walk alone I bow down to the king upon the throne” This is the most real line I’ve ever heard anyone speak... because it’s not something we can necessarily relate to because he is in Hollywood having to go on this walk almost alone... but we can learn to be uncomfortable being a Christian even if it’s by ourselves... the rest of the song with chick fila is Kanye being Kanye and having fun which I don’t see anything wrong with. I love this song.

I think we need to give it time. I agree that it would be great to hear the journey and back story but I think it's possible since it's his 1st album, he just wants to praise God. Most Christians when they 1st become saved come out with the joy and eagerness to praise and talk about all God has done for them. Then later when they see there's more with healing and going back to open up old wounds is when they open up to their past and give their testimony with the details that people want to know.
Yup. This dude has nothing else to talk about. The father's pretty cool, but it's still pretty lame listening to them try to review something that's not relatable to them.

The song shows that Kanye has a sense of humor while still glorifying God. It is not cheesy if you listen to his lyrics over the production. Plus his old songs talk about his struggles with the Lord. i.e. he wanted to talk to God but had not talked to him in so long he did not know where to start
He's trying to send the word to the younger generation, using things they are most familiar with. God uses whomever he want's and kanye was chosen. I thought he was talking about closed on Sunday as take a break use that day for great ness with family , and then calling Kim is chick FOR LIFE thus CHIK (Fillet)
Most Christian music is done in the past tense. For example, I lived this way, experienced these things, found god, and now I’m have lived a certain type of life. The music is made from already being a Christian for a long time, and with the ability to look back and see your testimony and give opinions on it. Which is great, people who listen can learn a lot from that, I mean a lot! But Kanye is coming from the present tense, he is currently in real-time loving his testimony, and is giving a snapshot through his music of his current state of mind and life. I think this is just as empowering and important. Most Christians are judgmental to new Cristians. Kanye’s gives an example of a new Christian. In his album he also mentions how he is judged for wanting to believe in god and trying. I think this album is helpful and empowering to new Christians who are still figuring it out, who want to live for god but don’t know how yet, still learning and learning to live in joy without judgement. Let’s not judge Kanye too harshly.
I see what you’re saying when you refer to Kanye not telling his journey... however, I think for Kanye... there is no need to know the before... because everyone in the United States / world was witness to the “before” Kanye. There is no reason to backtrack in that way.
The guy with the long hair is ridiculous he is just finding reasons not to like Kanye like dang this man (kanye) is giving his life to Christ and he is making a big impact and leaving a mark for all of our next generation

the past IS the past, but u can almost argue that there is no today w/o yesterday. literally everyday has its yesterday. u r who u r today bcs of yesterday.

AWESOME yes Kanye 🤘🤘🤘🔥♥️💜♥️
