Logically you cannot prove a negative, however it is the believer who holds the responsibility to produce evidence of a creator. Without such evidence then there is no room for a creator. If the universe was created by a being then who created the creator. You end up with the same paradox as an atheist claiming there was nothing before the universe. Most atheist don’t know without a doubt that there is no god, they simply lack the believe in a god.
