I been watching your videos for years now and there's a reason. I learn more, more interesting, new stuff constantly, and probably the biggest thing is the videos are the perfect amount of time. Some people's videos are just to long and to much stuff that is not interesting or not relevant to the title. You get straight to the point and hit the important aspects of what your video is about. Here's to a happy productive new year 👍🏼
Thanx Matt. Seen ya fishing with Drew Gill on tv, today. You guys did great and got along great. Don't spoil the ending (next tournament) for me. Everyone has a panic box or at least a handfull of lures when they just need a bite. Like a blue fleck power worm, Manns baby 1 minus(I fish tidal rivers) Sv 3 spinnerbait and a few others.
Matt your spot on about the Raid Headswimmer I've been slaying fish with it on 5g 7g 10g weights the gold and white color has worked best for me. Your right about the Dime i've got some good Bass on the Dim2 6. Enjoy your videos.
Thank you for the info ! I have the Raid Libero - The 1/4oz (7 grams ?) size did well for me last fall - the 1/2oz (14 grams ?) size did not - so I may try the 3/16oz (5 gram ?) size when the ice comes off the lakes in the spring - I have similar lures as the other ones you showed yet will strongly consider your recommendations when I re-stock
Thank you Matt for all the great information. My favorite bait the past 3 years is a blade bait called the steel shad in 1/4 , 3/8 and 1/2 oz. Small mouth love it but I catch everything from panfish, large mouth, walleye even catfish and sheephead. You can cast and use a lift and crank retrieve or you can virtical jig it at any depth. I always have one rigged and ready and probably use it 50% of the time. I seem to have the best luck with the 1/4 and 3/8. I can't wait to try the finisher this spring. Thanks again for all the great content.
🍺👍🤠 One thing all those baits have in common is that relatively speaking they are all small baits. I certainly agree that every bait/technique/size you mentioned (under-spin, small crank, skinny worm, etc) are very effective. I use every one of those regularly but mine are all a different brand then the ones you chose/showed. I’m sure yours work very well as do mine👍.
The Libero is an outstanding bait. It was one of the first JDM baits that I tried, & I never leave it at home now. A flat-out fish catcher. Great call out, Matt!
I use a double bladed buzz bait that is made with floats on the arms and is made out of titanium wire. You have to try this buzz bait, it's the best. You can slow it down because it has floats and triggers bites. My secret tournament bait.
I like all those baits and had lots of success, especially the Libero the wriggler the Dime and flashtrix. I haven't tried the Picasso jig but it looks like a good one.
I just used your Tackle Warehouse link to order 4 packs of Hover Rigs and TUSH hooks. And I ordered a 7'6" all graphite Ugly Stik today that will get a new Daiwa reel I picked up. The flounder should be here in April and I will be ready. I have a crazy idea I'm thinking about trying. There are open records for flounder in the igfa for different line classes. All I have to do is catch a keeper flounder on a fly and I will have a record. That has nothing to do with my order or anything, it's just something I'm thinking about. I don't know enough about fly rods to know what to get in my budget range.
I literally throw a different brand of every type of those lures. Not from preference, I just haven't gotten to check those baits out yet. I throw underspins; but that compact one looks sweet for bass wanting smaller forage. And picasso makes great baits, I started getting them when Aaron Martens was working with them, those baits were always tweaked right. We all know that at times a certain brand bait will far outproduce a similar bait, and that lineup looks stacked with the producers.
That Barkley crank does look great, perfect immature bluegill size. Does it have a tight or wide wobble? Something I see no one on YT talking about is using the Decoy brand “plus blades” in conjunction with their lures. I like throwing a small one ahead of a hair jig or small swim bait. With the blade close to the lure it looks like a finesse spinnerbait but with no metal arm. You can string a couple of blades up the line for the school effect also.
What in the hell is a Cindy rig? Thanks Matt. I just found some preRap Luhr Jensons and a bass patterned wigglewart, 4inch slug-go, plus some mann's purple 7½in V worms.
Been fishing the Raid underspin since fall (Mikey Balzz mentioned it on his channel)haven't caught much on it yet but I'm not giving up on it . I think it should be successful
@@MattStefanFishing lol well I can get a senko for .75, flukes for .50, Sensation pro swimmer paddletails .89 , even the berkley pitboss is around .60 a piece so.... $2.00 a piece for an ulta-small finess bait seems oh I don't know a bit of a gouge. now I know you are trying to sell product and sure the underwater footage I was able to find on those looks good but so does the Zman TRD MinnowZ at about .50.
Tackle warehouse needs to improve their shipping costs, end up going elsewhere often because I don't want to pay for shipping to try one thing. Make it free over 24 , something like that
@@MattStefanFishing us poor guys that cant afford RUclips premium are bombarded with ads. If you watch fishing vids you are gonna see the same tackle warehouse add over and over. I was hoping you had some connections with someone there you could pass on the word to do some fresh advertisements.
Matt makes a video about tackle. I buy tackle. I sleep on couch. Totally worth it!
hahaha
That's to funny

Glad to hear it's working for you!
Thanks Matt.
I'm gonna put some time with the Dime this season for sure. Gonna explore the basstrix more too
Both are great baits!
Love the libero. You turned me on to it first time you mentioned. Tight wobble great in colder water. And they LAST.
They are great!

Love the little spotty!
I do too
As much tackle as I have, I keep buying more after watching your videos. That dime 6 is awesome.
Glad you liked it!

You should give it a try!

Thank you so Much for using the affiliate link!
What do you replace the plastic with on the Raid Libero when the original one is lost?
they make spare bodies
Thanks, looks like a great bait but I haven’t been able to find those replacements, I’ll keep looking.
Great video as always Matt!! Thanks
My pleasure!

Give them a try
@MattStefanFishing definitely will.
Matt, do you also insert the nail weight into RAID Libero Underspin?
Does tungsten nail weight also work for Libero?
You can
yes i do have Raid 14g works great around pads and Kissimmee grass believe or not
That's awesome!
Thanks for the unbiased bait video what circuit are u fishing this year 👍🏼

yep ive actually talked about some of their stuff before. they make great products
Thanks, Matt! The Red Wriggler Inchi rig video was fun and informative!🫡👊💪🎣💥
Thanks for watching!
Matt, what size hover jig for the flash trix?
i like the 3/64 oz 1/0 hook
Well i have 3 of the 6 why because i watch your YT channel i really like speed reeling the dime 6 for smallies in the fall
I love that
I am impressed with Berkeley Dime.
It’s a good one!
Good video Matt, good stuff 👍
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks Matt
You bet
I have it and it’s amazing
Do you have the other baits to
The 1st and second baits

Awesome!
What’s your setup for that underspin ?
I use 8 lb fluoro Carbon on a 7’3” ML spinning rod

Keep at it! It can be a really effective lure for a lot of species.
wish you would have come out with this video before xmas

Flash Trix at $2 a piece well that's a bit rich for my taste.
That’s not even expensive anymore

they offer free shipping over $50...thats pretty good already
I didn't know it was $50, that's reasonable enough. Thank you
Watching this made me realize how much stuff I've bought because of you. That said, you might want to avoid my wife. 😂
I'll try to stay away from her!
if you can, tell Tackle Warehouse to make a new ad. I cant hit the skip button fast enough when that starts to play.
i have no idea what you are talking about
It’s better than the Baerskin Tactical hoodie ads!
@@davidgerdes1815yes, that one too wont go away. Even if you block the ad it keeps cominh back.

The LiberoHeadswimmwers doesn’t come in grams that I can find even by your link. Good fishing my boy
It does on the package
@ So which size is it? Because it doesn’t show the packaging online.
