I tried this but when it came to verifying and then having to go back to the root directory of my google site, the language starting to look like coding type procedures that were too complicated for me. I was able to build my own googlesite, but I am not able to do all of the complex things to make it searchable. I could hire someone to do it for me, unless there is another video that takes us through the exact steps for the verification and the whole root directory thing. Thanks again.

Sadly making a website using Google sites was my biggest mistake. In google cannot find my site but works on other search engines. The documents from Google provide 0 info on this too so if anyone has the cheese I am a hungry rat! :D
@@giggsi1006 I guess you would have to make a new one, my Google site rapidly showed some pages in a search but after a while my photo's no longer appeared in an image search and I have no idea why. I think the subject of the website has to be unusual to get it to appear in a search fairly fast.
Thanks but after signing in to Bing I have to verify the site by downloading a .xml then I have to upload it to root directory or html meta tag or CNAME to record DNS. How do I do any of it, also New Google Sites does not allow for html editing?

@@MrCampbellRocks google allow indexing on search console but sadly on their own search console. You cannot index other web master tools. Also i have recently searched a keyword fiverr review surprisingly 1 position was a google sites.. that's means google sites really ranks

As others have pointed out, there is no way to verify ownership of a google site as you have no access to the header etc for tags.
Can I export my google site to another website tool then? Or do I have to make a new one

You should be a le to submit the site to Microsoft/yahoo webmaster tools.
This is what I can't do either. I hope there is another video out there that explains the process. Good luck.
You have to have a Microsoft account and registar.
