I did a video on this beach as well! I can’t believe it’s still so bad. We were there last month June 17-23rd and it was horrible. I’m glad you were able to get drone shots so people could really see how far out it went
This video is about a year old and i just stayed at this resort last week. The beach is gorgeous and the seaweed is no longer a problem! They placed a barrier far into the waters to prevent so much seaweed from getting on the beach and there are workers cleaning the shore daily. It's so much clearer now. :)
Is empty.. Dominican government is corrupted they only care about money you pay at the airport when you enter, also is very dangerous place to visit . You get killed walking on the streets

"Seaweed No Issue At All" Really... This is one of the most beautiful resorts in DR and has a beach just as gorgeous. This is just heartbreaking to me ):
We have booked for this resort in September with deposit only but we need to pay the full amount next month.I don't know what to do.We are going there to enjoy the beach but if the seaweed is still there that will be big disappoint.
We booked for September also, almost paid in full. I’m so worried of the seaweed situation, paying too much money not to be able to enjoy the beach! Really want to spent our Anniversary at Secrets but I’ve started to look at other resorts which may not have this seaweed problem 😩.
@@randycrocker experts says not me... That this 2019 since june they expect almost 200 to 500% more seaweed to this 2019... thats why i cancelled my reservation and moving to other sea .... west mexico

Resorts on the southern sides of the islands don't accumulate sea weed like this. La Romana in DR for example should be a lot more free of it.

@@andresillo8070 I just came from this resort. Stayed May 9-14th. Doesn't look anything like this. Beach is beautiful now! :)
