Ok hun. I quess I needed to go in n add profile address n business license. I have submitted that so I think they now I just wait. Cuz I still can't see any where that I can apply for lots 🤷♀️
@@cindypierce4247 Yes you’ll want to make sure everything is verified and I think once all of that is complete you’ll be able to apply 🤗 just to double check you are on the side where it gives the “sourcing” option at the bottom of the screen, correct? When you browse lots there should be a black and white button that says “apply to sell” 🥰 Ooh maybe it’s because they are waiting to approve your license/id? They verify your identity before applying I remember doing that when I signed up. Have you done that yet? 🥰
You’re so welcome Melissa!!! 🤗🥰 I’m happy I could help introduce Flyp to you!!! I’m so excited to do the client video too next week ❤️🎉 let me know if you have any questions, happy to help 🥰🎉
@@EssentialEndeavours soooo I applied and got nicely denied haha I think you have to have a few years of selling under your bet and I’m just under a year. They did say to keep growing your following and making more sales but without giving me more details, so I’m assuming, they said try back in the future
Aww you do?! I’m really feeling the simple, black and white vibes too! I’m glad you like it too 🥰🎉 I always appreciate you and letting me know your thoughts and opinion! I hope you have a great rest of your night 🎉
I love Flyp!! Great video summarizing the seller part of the app Brittani! If anyone's considering getting it and becoming a pro seller, I can't emphasize enough.. set your consignment rate to 50% or more. Unless every item in the lot is amazing, 30-40% just isn't enough to make it worth your time.
Totally agree, I think 50% is so fair 🤗 I think you just have to analyze which platforms you’re selling on so if maybe someone was only selling on FB Marketplace or IG for local sales or something, then I could see between the 40-50% range. But yeah I personally wouldn’t drop below 50, great point Macy 🥰🎉 thanks so much for watching!!!
Definitely give it a shot 😍 I LOVE Flyp! Stay tuned for my video on the client side for next week so maybe that’ll help you navigate it a bit more too 🥰🎉
Thanks for the great, detailed breakdown of this! Appreciate you taking time to put in the time stamps which is very helpful. Looking forward to the client video next week as well. Thank you!
Aww thanks girl! 🤗🙏 I’ve been trying to be more diligent and get those time stamps in there so it’s easier to watch and jump to a part later down the road if needed! Yes I’m so excited for that one too 🥰 I’ve really really been loving it and I’m excited to share that part of my business with everyone too and hope it helps others find better inventory or a good partnership for consigning! 🎉 I appreciate you watching ❤️❤️❤️
Aww thank you guys so much for watching! I agree, James has been so awesome and it’s been lovely getting to know him and chat about Flyp and everything in store! I genuinely love Flyp and see myself using it as a major part of my business model for many years to come! I appreciate you guys watching, catch the client video coming out next week if you can 🤗🎉 thanks again for taking the time to watch!
Hey Cindy! You can set up all of that once you go to sell an item and release their funds 🤗 you could go ahead and do it now if you’d like to be proactive! But now you’ll just wait for the client to ship their lot to you 🎉 woohoo! So exciting 🥰
Hahaha yeah sorry to say me and eBay are no more, at least for now 🤣 But I’ve been using Flyp like crazy, I love it 😍 leaning way more into the client side too! It’s such a great option for resellers! Well I know you so hard goods and plush but if you ever wanna do any clothing shoes or accessories for men or women, it’s a fab option 🎉 Thanks for watching!!!
You’ll click into the lot and put in the range you expect to sell each item for and then once you complete it for each item then they can approve it or chat with you about it 🤗
I have been getting e-mails, so I decided to sign up today. I do have three platforms where I sell jewelry and accessories. Sounds like a great app and I love that it is free until you sell something! Thanks for the video - it was helpful! The only thing is, it doesn't seem like you make much $$. I'll give it a try though!
Ok doll approved to day, I see lots, but where do I go to bid/ or show om interested. I have watched some v. And one gal had some icons ongoing applied etc. I'm not seeing any of that....thanks for your help.
Great job Brittani. I had been hearing so much about it, so this is tremendously helpful. I'm interested in seeing the client side too, though it seems like that would only work if (a) I could get a lower cost of goods and (b) I could find higher end stuff. I do sell on consignment for me SIL who didn't enjoy selling herself and that's worked well so far. I loved the cameo by your kitty. I hope you are having a fabulous week and look forward to hearing more about Flyp and the other things you are pursuing.
Aww thanks so much Kay! I’m glad I could help explain it and clear some things up for you 🥰 it’s definitely a good option to get some higher quality inventory and make a great profit! I think in my last what sold video I had a few sales I included where I made in the $15-$20 profit range. Thinking about doing a video going over just specifically what I was able to sell or what others were able to sell for me 🥰🎉 but YES you would definitely want a lower COG on the client side as well. There’s a few strategies I’ve used and a few more I would like to implement that I’ll share in the next video on the client side 🥰🎉 Aww I’ll let our kitties know you enjoyed their cameos! Haha they’re too funny! Thanks so much for watching Kay 🥰🎉
Thanks for sharing your experience! What do you mean by the commission includes platform fees? For example: If you sell an item for $25 & you receive $20 after platform fees, would you split the $20 profit? Is that correct?
Hey there! So if someone’s commission is 50%, then your take home is 50% as well. The difference is is that the seller’s cut is all inclusive (includes the platform fees they sell on). So in your example, if an item sells for $25 on posh, they need to report that $25. You would get $12.50 and then their $12.50 would be reduced by the platform fee, since posh is 20% it would be $5, so the seller would get $7.50 profit. Hope that makes sense ❤️
I love how resourceful you are! I would like to hear more about your experience consigning and when as a resaler that would be appropriate? Very interesting content. P. S. Not a resaller🙃💞 Interested Consumer...😉
Absolutely!!! My video next week will chat more about my experience being on the client side 🥰 I think it’s very dependent on your circumstances (for whether you want to do the consigning or be the client). I think this is a great option if as a reseller you’re having a hard time sourcing quality items or if you don’t have the initial investment to pay for everything. Consignment is great because it’s a win win for both parties 🥰 I hope that answers your question! Thank you so much for watching 🤗🎉
How long does it take to get approved, or answered at least? It says a few days but I've applied on a few different lots over the course of weeks and never heard back once so.....not sure?
Great video, Britt!!! I have been thinking about trying Flyp but you definitely made up my mind to do it. Can I ask how you knew the North Face item was a fake? I didn't know there were fakes with that brand!
Aww thanks Jennifer! 🎉🥰 you should definitely give it a go! I’ve really enjoyed it!!! My next video on the client side of Flyp will be out later this week if you’re interested in learning more about that side too 🎉 but it didn’t have the holographic tag and the embroidery was not good and the letters were spaced too far apart! I made a mistake a long time ago with their goretex jackets and thought it was real and it wasn’t and spent nearly $20 for it at goodwill and just had to donate it again because it wouldn’t sell 😫
@@EssentialEndeavours Yes, I will definitely be tuning into your client portion of Flyp! I just signed up so I'm waiting for their response :) Thank you for the low down on the fake North Face. That really stinks about that jacket but I guess we have to live and learn. I'll definitely pay closer attention to TNF when I find it again. Have a great night!!
Consignment isn’t for everyone, but for those that have a harder time finding quality items with designer and high end brands then it’s a fabulous option 🥰 I’m going to be doing another video soon on the “client” side that I’ve really been leaning into and I LOVE it 🥰🎉 thanks so much for watching!
