Nice video brother, I liked how you took your time to show all and didn't rush the camera away fast not giving enough time to work it out. PS. Going to save this to my playlist now. Thank you mate.
@@CornishTim93great video to follow it worked for me and I even struggled a little with the oil feed pipe, but it’s definitely good video to follow, my car runs great now I have fitted a new turbo
Thanks for posting this. I have the same car, same siren turbo to swap. I'm glad I watched it as others removed subframe driveshaft etc and it looks like thers no need after removing exhaust.
I did this thinking vanes inside turbo are causing P0234 - overboost, however after cleaning it did not fix it, I checked MAP and it is fine, I suspect MAF sensor, but need to double check my crankcase mod as I believe it leaks some air past MAF and it is confusing it
Thanks for the video, did you have to make a new oil flow return pipe and fit it to the turbo you put on? Doesn't look like from the video there is one of your working turbo?
~ Never ever had a car with a Turbo so it's my first time, had the same buzzing sound, then a big vacuum kind of sound and now the turbo makes no noise at all and no pressure at all lmao. About to buy a new turbo and do it myself. What could go wrong? 😂😂 ~

Excellent video mate, going to put this to use on a touran BKD. I think I might have missed it - at what point did you remove the oil drain? Thanks
If anyone else missed it's at 13:40
Thanks 👍
what were the symptoms of a broken turbo, apart from whistling, did you lose engine power?
Loss of power, very significant.

how many hours did that actually take? repair shops say 3-4 hours. I've thought about changing the turbo myself
Something like that.
is it necessary to add oil to the new turbo, I have read that it is recommended?
@@KoiraDoggoyes it is
