My W245 screen sometimes goes blank, and I can't see any letters, perhaps due to temperature or brightness-I'm not sure. However, after watching your video, I've decided to replace it because the repair seems a bit challenging for me. 😄 Thank you for your video!

Стрелки снимаются путем прокручивания их до упора в одну из сторон. И преждем чем крутить, нужно упереть в крайнее положение и запомнить его, сделать пометку наклейкой от ценника. А так драть нельзя, можно отломить пластик.

Brilliant job, I'm having the same problem with the display going so low that you can not see it. If I buy a replacement speedometer and cluster second hand from ebay, would it be just plug in and play, or would it need programming? Thank you
Yes it will work but look for one from the same year of manufacture, there is a 50% chance because mercedes fixed this problem after 2008 and the update screen works at 8 volts and the one with the failure at 7v

It is a 2007 plate, and the person selling the second hand cluster and speedometer said it would need programming, so not sure what to do. I do not want to unplug the old one just in case it will need reprogramming. But if you say it will be ok, I will try it lol. Really appreciate your time.

me, for example, I put a PC fan behind the cluestet and now it s better when the cluster starts warming up. I see that cause when is hot outside, when I start the engine the display it s bad visible and after few minutes its coming to be more visible cause of the flow of air.

not exactly. i stick the fan on the back of cluster in area when have the holes for cooling.

@@user-zw8kz8pz8z это распространенная проблема и единственное решение - замена экрана, слышал от владельца, который установил вентилятор и избавился от проблемы, но такую импровизацию не рекомендую

I don't see why you need a screwdriver to lever the dial markers off when all the other videos just twist them off clockwise, I did it like this, and it was much easier than your method, and less risk of damaging the clock face. But thanks anyway
