that's because people always want the approval of someone least likely to give it..... sam trust people way to easily and he is very accepting therefore his approval isn't worth much but trying to get the approval of someone who despises your very existence is a lot more satisfying because you know the approval was genuine and real

Anybody else notice that Dean has become a lot like the Michael of this 'verse. Michael was the good son who had tried and tried to do what was right, but after eons, grew tired, saw that there was no light at the end of the tunnel, so wanted it all to be over, and at least that way, there would be paradise, the humans who were killed would go to Heaven, and maybe his dad will come back. Dean is the good son, who has fought and been through everything, sacrificed everything to protect the world and he's tired. He literally wants to die. Jack was just a victim of Dean's darkness and lack of hope. But Dean is still Dean and will take on any stray and lead them into the light. He's still the compass everyone else uses to guide them. Jack was still just a kid, and Dean's paternal instincts would kick in eventually and they did. He and Jack had a very touching moment, that I think will help Jack a lot through these hard times now that Dean's been hijacked by the other-verse Michael.
Sam and Castiel are more fathers to Jack than dean ever was. Dean was more like a brother who shows him the pleasure of life (with the impala). Thank you for this video

I think Dean didn't just hate Jack, he despised him. He hated looking at him and being reminded of Cas. His best friend who died because of a rift that Jack caused. He doesn't just blame Jack for Cas' death, but the fact that Castiel is his 'father' is heartbreaking to Dean. I mean; any reminder of my recently deceased best friend would hurt me, too. However, Dean was a dick and instead of being angry he should've talked about his feelings. But we all know he never wants to.

Very well done. It really brings out the beginning of season 13 and it shows you the relationship in a deeper meaning. Jack only wanted to help. But what happened to Cass, Dean believed that Jack did it. It's nice to see them together like a family. The beginning of 13 was really different the the others (At least I believe) since they weren't themselves. They argued, and they were stern. But this was really good!!!

When Cas died and Mary went into the rift, Dean was very upset and wanted something or someone to blame and the only thing he could find was Jack. That's why he was very harsh on him in the beginning.
Jack will be like young Dean, trying to earn his father's respect. Trying to do right for him so he's accepted by him. Makes me sad, because it shows, Dean is subconsciously somewhat becoming like his father. I know it's not the same, but it's quite similar.

I think Dean didn't just hate Jack, he despised him. He hated looking at him and being reminded of Cas. His best friend who died because of a rift that Jack caused. He doesn't just blame Jack for Cas' death, but the fact that Castiel is his 'father' is heartbreaking to Dean. I mean; any reminder of my recently deceased best friend would hurt me, too. However, Dean was a dick and instead of being angry he should've talked about his feelings. But we all know he never wants to.

Aww...I honestly think that it wasn’t that Dean hated Jack....more like he was afraid of trusting him and then being betrayed...it would suck. I mean it’s happened many times. You become jaded. Not that I was okay with the cold way he treated him, but I understand where Dean is coming from. They really can’t afford to trust so easily.

Very well done. It really brings out the beginning of season 13 and it shows you the relationship in a deeper meaning. Jack only wanted to help. But what happened to Cass, Dean believed that Jack did it. It's nice to see them together like a family. The beginning of 13 was really different the the others (At least I believe) since they weren't themselves. They argued, and they were stern. But this was really good!!!

Somebody says dean is jack's father but they have forgot dean hates jack he tried often to killing jack and he danger jack's life. For example when jack losses his soul because of castiel and dean and sam's saving dean with sam's help lies jack and locked jack in malek box until jack is dead. It's true dean in moriah's episode can't kills jack but it's mean is not that he has forgave jack even you looked dean lets jack until he sacrifices himself and even dean tells jack is not family in that time.

@Fan of Many Legends and doesn't give you an excuse either!from what I seen,he handled a similar creature for years!(don't excuse if John treated Sam badly because it didn't happen and I have no imagination about it!John is dead)and he totally see how that ended in 4x14 and 4x21!after all these years of course he won't do that mistake again to end up again betrayal and in Jack's case,he accepted him which likes of you chose to ignore!and even saw him as a son and again it end up by his mom dying! he only acted realistic and lets not forget soon as Cas came back,he even forgot why he was upset and he even was feeling guilty before that for not being able to protect Jack which Billie even understood!

Dean’s initial feeling that he needed to kill Jack was actually FOR Jack as well as the rest of the world. He was thinking about what they were sure Jack would become and wanted to relieve him of it. I think ppl who think Dean was just a hateful jerk don’t really understand Dean’s character.

people in here are all complaining about Dean's behavior towards Jack in the first!let me tell you!Jack was son of the Angel who tried to kill him several times and was the reason his life destroyed,not to mention that his nephilim powers are dangerous for the world and Dean is never so interested in supernatural especially those who can change the force of creation!most important he was grieving for Cas's death and even tried to kill himself!and let me tell you this!none of Dean's greatest relationships started with a smile or hand to hand!just watch the first time he met Cas and all of his loved ones except for Sam!
