Jumped in at Super Helldive with my Arc Thrower, Jetpack, Rocket Sentry and Eagle Airstrike that first night. When the first harvester charged up to fire at me, I quite literally screamed "WHAT THE FUCK IS-" and Jetpacked away, that laser blast catching my foot and OH MY GOD IT"S SO STRONG. No one'd figured out the meta yet, the swarms were so so much worse than any bug breach, and the overseers were like bot raiders except with devastator armor AND THEY FLY. The Music, THE MUSIC WAS SO PERFECT. Everyone panicking, everythign dying and exploding around me. Arc Thrower was doing so so much work, but i was desperate for a guard dog, jetpack was okay but goddamn they just KEEP CHASING YOU. Then like - why 3 sam sites? Sure i'll set them up. *Cue maniacal laughing as UFOs start getting pancake stacked from missile after missile* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AND THEN SOMEONE FINDS THE BUGGY. DUDE TRIES TO FLAMETHROWER OUT IT AND WE ALL START BURNING. Car jackknifes and we ALL go flying, I jetpack but slam into a buidling Wiley Coyote Style. Absolutely traumatic experience, but goddamn it was beautiful. BTW, Scythe, sidearm of choice, impacts or fire nades, then Arc, LasGuardDog, Strafing Run and Machine Gun Sentry has me clearing 500+ rounds.

Am I the only guy who find the Illuminate too easy ? (in mission i mean). All i do is lvl10 mission and i find it easier than a lvl 8 bug mission. (My loadoat is: Jetpack, quasar, 500kg, napalm strike, scout armor, dominator, senator, incendiary grenade). I get it that its only the beginning, but i should not be able to solo Super Helldive with only 1 death

That and you couldn’t see shit. The amount of friends I lost to bot ambushes or walking head first into a hulk. The squids at least don’t have cover
