    Update.
    If you set your Thread pitch correct at the tool level (1/14 in my case not .057) it would come through correct on the toolpath Thread pitch.

    On a lathe you've made a conical thread, not an NPT. With the thread pass in the video you will have equal depth on the cone. To machine NPT you need to make an additional cylindrical surface with the OD equal to the NPTs' boss OD and use this surface in the threading operation. I've programmed and machined a lot NPT fittings using this method and were nice and tight.

      Been a min from when I made this video however if you look up the thread specs to what your trying to make it should give you the Degree at which your threads are needed to be Modeled.
