Some tips : against elite, take lots of piercing shot (AP1) for your kroots, try to stay in cover for the rogue ability (harder in ITD I know), don't use reroll (or only if it saves or kills) on your dice but more on ploys. Loosing the heavy gunner early was the biggest mistake I think.
So far, I've had most luck against Intercessor teams when I've sort of ignored trying to kill all of them all at once and just tried to play for getting mission/ops VP. Still, not much you can do against any team when they roll almost nothing but 5+ the whole game
Also, idk if you take match up requests but I'd really love to see how corsairs do on itd. I get the feeling they'd tend to fair better than in the "open" play, and somehow no one has uploaded a corsairs itd batrep to RUclips yet.

At 13:40 you say he needs "a stun so I can't use my last APL", but I don't think that works that way. The modifier to APL from Stun wouldn't matter till the beginning of the marine's next activation.

I think there is something deeply, deeply pissed and cool about tactical/Intercessor Marines with chainswords and pistols. Like, "We don't even need full scale guns to fuck your days up to no end and back"... not to mention you will HEAR them coming.
This was great, I think my favourite thing is using different coloured dice for each team that also matches their schemes. Great editing too, intercessors are brutal
11:11 so you can charge two units at the same time? I tried to find this from the rules and googling, but no luck. Would've been good to know in my last game.

First time watching the channel - really great! Good video length and camera work. Loved the graphics of what happened every turn, my one request would be just a top down shot of the whole board at the end of each turning point so we can see where the models are. The animated graphics do it, but i'd rather see the models as well.

Just one bit of feedback and it may just be me. I sometimes struggled to picture where the models were holistically on the board mid turning point during the close ups. I enjoy the close ups but would be good to get mid turn top downs or something like that every so often. I like the end of TP summary but would be good to see the models too.
Was the move at 20:31 even legal? You can't close a hatch when there's an enemy opertive within 1" of it. Can't quite judge the distance here, but it seems to be in that ballpark.
Quick question, are you allowed to charge models you can’t see from round corners? I think I saw that in one of the clips. My son and I are the only ones that play so we rely on these videos to make sure we get our rules questions right
Sorry it’s a month late, but in case you’re still wondering, from the designer commentary on games workshop’s faq it says that you can still declare a charge against a model that is not visible, as long as you can make the distance Hope this helps

I'm new to Kill Team, just getting into it. Where do you see rules for chapter tactics? I'm looking at rules online and battle scribe and I can't find anything like it anywhere.
Are you looking on the Space Marine kill team or Intercession Squad Kill Team? You need the latter. It's a newly-released team, which includes only Intercessors and Assault Intercessors, but unlike with Space Marine kill team, you can mix them, and you get a bunch of other stuff too like Chapter Tactics.
I love these bat-reps. I don’t love the prologues before the intro, that’s literally my only complaint. (And it’s completely subjective) Otherwise you guys are the highest quality kill team bat-reps without a doubt.
Shame about the Dvorgite Skinner, I think that could've done some serious damage, but an incredible video like always! Hope more Kill Team is coming up soon :-) Also just had to get that 1HP Tee :-D Can't wait to receive it here in Czech Republic :-* Any news on possible Patreon?
In general, great video. Some notes though: 1. You don't have to reveal Champion of Mankind on your first kill, you totally can do it later. It's advantageous to reveal it once you already have 3-5 kills on one guy and know the opponent (and your other guys) likely won't outkill him. 2. Stun doesn't subtract Action Points of the operative's current activation. They are generated at the start of activation and changing APL won't change the amount of Action Points you currently have.
Not true fam, ripped from the core rules. If an operative’s APL is modified, it lasts until the end of its current or next activation (whichever comes first).
@@dgraft8199 The thing is, Action Points are generated at the start of an operative's activation. APL is how many of those you do generate. So while it can modify APL (for the purposes of objective control, for example), it doesn't affect already-generated Action Points.

I think when scripting the narration you can cut out the "then", "now" and "next" to make it sound more like chess or sports narration and will make the games feel more action packed and less monotonous.

Thanks! All I did was clip it off the gun, glue it onto the shoulder and then use some green stuff for the tail feathers to hide the seam.
