    As a Bucks fan, the threat was always real. Giannis doesn’t care abt the specific city or market size. He only cares abt a team that gives him his best chance if winning. Nothing new if you ask me. Ja said he can beat mj in a one on one, Steph said he is the point god, Embiid wants his chances and now Giannis. I'm not talking about harden or ben, they don't have a chance, but these guys do. Its a trend to have ego and self-confidence. Their teams demand a lot from them, why shouldn't they? Anyway, if a team wants to win a chip, that doesn't matter. Just bring in Luka and Joker and you'll probably have a ring.

When on earth has that actually ever been the case for them and what team can realistically match that? @@Quietcomet Joel seems like the right kind of player cause the fit is great with Brunson and Randle/Barrett (assume one gets traded for him), plus Knicks President Leon Rose was his agent before he took the Knicks job. However, if I had to bet, I'd actually say Spida cause he's going have a soon-to-be-expiring contract and can realistically force a trade to the Knicks, where he's openly always wanted to go. Giannis is going to have too much of an open market and given he doesn't care as much about market and where he plays as most players, I think he's the least likely.

    Khris MIddleton was dealing with a long stretch of injury and no rest inconsistent time played. He will have the longest off season since 2016 and he will be fresh for a new season. Brook Lopex finished as runner up for Dpoy last season at 35 in a notoriously risky defensive system. He had back surgery las season and has looked awesome since. Jrue has been extremely over taxed this past 2 years by not having a true playmaker or even offensive focused point gaurd or 2 guard next to him. He's had to take on double duty much like Giannis has in the past. Beasley is a new addition to alleviate some of those offensive loads. Crowder was not utilized enough and was not given enough time by the front office and coaching staff to integrate into the system thus looking lost and washed as a result. The bucks have a tier 1 competitive roster in a much weaker eastern conference this season with the only real improvement being Kristaps, an older celtics team and second year head coach. The pacers got a little better, the cavs got a little better, the knicks got a little better, and the heat are gassed and praying for Dame to join their roster. Brooklyn has a weird situation of will they try and compete or will they be play in level of competitive. Toronto has no real great direction and their new head coach might just get fired for stealing info from the knicks. The bulls are going to be mid and refuse to rebuild. The Magic have a way too deep log jam of guard play. The hornets might not win 30 games. The Hawks can be ECF bound or not make the play in period. The bucks are in a great position with a great roster that can and has played well, A long refreshed team with young aspiring talent and an expierenced first time head coach. THe bucks will win the 2024 NBA finals against the LA Clippers, I guarantee it.

      Jrue is absolutely not in his prime, he's 33 and players usually leave their prime by then, save for the truly elite players like Lebron or Steph. Other teams Casey mentioned, like the Knicks and Cavs, or even sleeper teams like the Pacers and OKC, have FAR younger cores with a far higher ceiling than Jrue and Brook.

    honestly i think part of this stems from the series of tweets between him & kobe, bro just always needed a new goal 😂 but in all seriousness tho Giannis seems like the kind of guy who doesn’t like to be stagnant, and if the only way to not be stagnant is to go to a new team with a new challenge of winning a ring, im sure he’s all for that.

    So Im a tried and true bucks fan and as SOON as that Jeff Teague clip came in, I knew this was a poorly sourced and inflammatory video, much like other videos. Jeff had essentially ZERO relationship with the starters and rotational guys. He's referring to the bench mob, the trench guys as we called them. Toupane, Merril, Bryant, Jackson, and Diakite. They didn't play and they talked amongst each other all the time. SO THEY though they were going to lose to Brooklyn because THEY weren't the guys playing a bunch of rookies and scrubs with one washed Vet.

And wants to prove to people he can’t win on any team he on no matter the outcome and that he still got value to compete to have the passion to have a long term career. And that like he ain’t wasting time and that he wants to play the game he loves with out feeling like he not accomplish noting or feeling like a failure, and Carey that black mamba mentality of hits working hard and just coping with pain to not complain. He wants the freedom to control his career and his life, and wants to go to a place that’s home but like a place to win.

      @soofi_ Год назад

      In 2021 they were 3rd in the East behind Philly and Brooklyn and in 2022 they were 3rd in the East again behind Miami and Boston, but their record was definitely in the top 5 or top 10 of the NBA those years. However, the other 3 years, they had the best record in the NBA overall, and their consistency in the regular season the last few years is why they have overall the best record in the NBA over the last 5 years. Hopefully that makes sense.

    Meh... I think people: 1. Undersell what a big deal that injury was to Giannis first round. A low back injury is a big deal and he was OUT. And people undersell what a big deal he is to the Bucks. Sucks they lost but that's kinda like if MJ was injured out of the 98 playoffs. The Bulls ain't getting out of the EC let alone beating the Jazz. Some players are worth more than others and Giannis IS that player for the Bucks.
    2. Ignore Bron's age and pretend he isn't getting old, but pretend like early to mid 30s is washed up for every other player on every other team with modern medicine. It isn't and the Bucks might be an older team but again... they ain't no 98 Bulls yet, and again, they did FINE.
    Stuff can go wrong -- Giannis doesn't HAVE to stay in Milwaukee, but I hope he does. Hell train and draft the whole fam -- have all Greek Freaks on the Bucks. Why not?? Make them the face of Milwaukee and start a whole new Greek / Nigerian community -- they could use it!
    It won't be the end of the world if he leaves -- but he's a big deal and he does love family. GIVE HIM FAMILY. Give him love. Give him chips. Support all his foundations. Cities like New York and LA, sports stars are a dime a dozen. In Milwaukee Wisconsin they aren't. Wisconsin worships and loves their sports stars. Hell sometimes our sports are so bad we gotta worship stars from neighboring states or college stars when we have 50 year droughts. But people bag on the Midwest -- between climate change and fam -- don't underrate the Midwest. There's something really nice about smaller markets. And he's got kids now -- seriously he doesn't wanna be draggin' them into New York or into the hate of Florida. And -- I think he also understands and appreciates that big egos in other teams mean big drama for a lot of teams.
    I don't know the men personally but omg -- playing with Bron, Kyrie, Harden, guys like that all seem like a lot of emotional work. Maybe there's something I don't know, but Giannis might be young but seems like a great leader with a lot of guys who have 100% been behind him and vice versa.
