@ThePianoMan1953 The place max capacity is 20,000, and it wasn't full. So no, compared to a state that has millions of people in it, 20,000 is quite a small ratio. Also, NJ is more purple than blue. They recently had a Republican governor. It had nothing but Republican governors throughout the 90's into the 2000's.

@ThePianoMan1953 not if you look at the configuration of the place. It was set up for a crowd of 20,000 that night. Anything pass that was a fire violation. Maybe an extra 2000 slip in, but an extra 60,000? Come on!
Also, Jersey's visitor numbers for that area were less than 80,000 for that day. That included beach visitors.
I'm not saying it was a tiny crowd, but 80,000, by all metrics of measurement is impossible.

James Carville, the only amazing thing about him, is how much he has been paid by DCCC for the years he has been paid.
In 2010 I left my chosen career of politics in favor of a more simple life. James, I feel for you. You have always been an inspiration. But the Right knows no low as we all can now see. You at least have said we must go lower. Most of the left didn't agree which is why i left the game. But the disappointed left still feel too much fielty to the concept of 'something better' to even realize that we are in an existential fight let alone have the ability to convince the right that we are not all THE DEVIL HIMSELF. So long as we see each other that way, you, nor anyone or any 'messaging' else will matter. Humanize yourself to the 'other' as you James MUST have. The only other options are to go off grid completely ASAP, 'get with the program, or take up yoga so you can kiss your ass goodbye 💋

The severe effects of Covid and supreme court stuff re: Roe happened during Biden's term, but are directly caused by decisions made by Trump and his administration during Trump's term. Covid was out of control by the time Biden came into office; other countries were back to normal by this time because they took it seriously to begin with.
Also the campus unrest doesn't really seem on par with covid or Roe or torch-lit swastika marches.

Yep. I been feeling that a lot lately. I am turning 70 this year, and I am being persecuted and stolen from by none other than the good old Social Security System. They are having a fun time seeing how little I can survive on. And the worst thing is, there are literally millions of people my age and older being taken advantage of by this government. I happen to know several people who got their students loans forgiven and everyone i know are driving in style and eating in fancy restaurants and doing quite well. I don't know where all these poor people are but i know one thing about poor people is that they usually don't bother to vote and they never appreciate anything that is done to help them and if they do vote it will be for the person most likely to do the least to benefit them. Making light of what it would mean to vote a Dictatorship into this country is a terrible mistake in my opinion and Trump and the Republican Party have made it clear that's what they intended to do with Trump if he wins and probably if he doesn't win which i don't believe he will.

James matters just as much, and just as little, as anyone else in any form of media, TYT included. Paid opinion pieces more often than not. The real movers and shakers in this world take a far different approach, obviously. I imagine the hope is that viewers will take action, or at least take stock, after being "better" informed. I reckon that's largely a pipe dream though and all of this ultimately becomes little more than another form of cheap and highly-accessible infotainment.

Doesn't really matter, though the estimate was at 10,000 max TOTAL. The pictures sent to the media were from a 1994 free Rod Stewart concert in Rio de Janeiro that drew between 3.5-4 million people. Between Roger stone and trump, they bungled this whole thing. If they had put up a pic of a crowd of 20,000 people, some folks would have believed. Some. Others would know that trump at least doubles and occassionally exaggerates by 10X, so would never believe it. Fact of the matter, they analyzed pics of the ACTUAL crowd, and it was between 8,000-12,000, with most agreeing it was around 10,000. Anybody who believed it was 100,000-120,000 already had OD'd on the Kool-Aid. You could have told them there was 335 million and they wouldn't even question it.

As an example of how you’ve been brainwashed without even realizing it, the term “Democrat party” is actually an intentional slur. The oldest still functioning political party on earth is the Democratic party and calling it the Democrat party was actually the result of right wing efforts to smear the Democrats. I don't see it as lecture. I see it as announcement. Somebody has to since the media only wants to tell the story of how many are living paycheck to paycheck to downplay the success of Bidens accomplishments. He is doing an extraordinary job really but that doesn't mean everyone gets rich. Trump was the one telling young people how rich they were going to be if they voted for him. It didn't happen.

Hey Anna, the venue that Trump was at in New Jersey had a max capacity of 20,000 it wasn’t even full just because somebody has said they was 70 to 100,000 people there. It’s been fact checked there was nowhere near that many people and the ones that did show up, didn’t stay very long.

That old tortoise was responsible for installing the only president in the last 50 years to have actually meaningfully raised taxes on the rich, Bill Clinton who in 1993 created a fifth tax bracket of 39% on the richest Americans. Without raising taxes on the rich you can kiss what’s left of the new deal and great society social safety net goodbye. The tax rate under Eisenhower in 1954 on the richest robber barons was 92%. Today the richest are paying about 3% . To remain a republic we must raise taxes on the rich. That is a necessary condition. That old tortoise is one of the only people to have made that possible in 50 years.
