Starring: Franka Potente, Moritz Bleibtru
Lola (Franka Potente) answers a call from her boyfriend Manni (Moritz Bleibtru), a small-time courier for a big-time gangster. He has a problem: His boss is coming to pick up 100,000 Deutsche Marks in twenty minutes, and he doesn’t have the money. With Manni’s life on the line, Lola runs through the streets of Berlin to reach him and somehow pick up 100,000 marks along the way, making split-second decisions and encountering acquaintances, family, and strangers. As the clock ticks down, the tiniest choices become life-altering (or life-ending), and the fine line between fate and fortune begins to blur.

Trainspotting, Hackers, and Run Lola Run was the 90's cool kid trifecta
The Matrix as well
All the Hal Hartley and Gregg Araki films. Niagara, Niagra. All Over Me. Welcome to the Dollhouse. Hurricane Streets. KIDS. Lawn Dogs. You're missing so much from this list.
Agreed! Bonus was DAS BOOT! Ja!
Snatch, lock stock genre too
@@LaoWatsonSmith I learned the word 'tasche'! I win more German!!
My favorite movie as a 90’s kid. I thought I was so cool for watching this and nobody else knowing about it.
@lethalbox909
Same!!
I bought the DVD Immediately!
What's some more great suggestions ?
@@GUIDE_Nico Just saw yer Request. I wouldn't say my suggestions are like Lola Rennt. BUT... (these are free) I like Final Approach, The Beast of War, & if you can find it.... Ramen Girl with the late Brittany Murphy! The OST's are nice! Be well.
@@GUIDE_Nico absolutamente
A masterpiece, a classic, one of my top 3 movies ever.
The soundtrack to this movie is really cool - so much energy. I'm going to have to check this out again on the big screen.
Not Sandstorm Daurde?
I'm so glad this deep cut classic is experiencing resurged modern attention!
One of the best movies . Addicted to its awesome soundtrack
Missed this when it came round the first time. Thought it would run for longer but was gone almost as soon as I found out about it. Played the soundtrack in my car for years. Seeing it tonight in the theatre. It's about time.
Saw it today for the first time and on the big screen. Really really good movie! 🙂
@@JamalBernardPulliam just got out of the cinema. Great film.
Screaming, breaking glass, freaking out about this.
And "do overs".
@@stephenolan5539 Imagine the Dice-of-Life as a Twenty Minute Do-Over everytime? JA!

Until you win.
I've read the movie is going to be re-released this year.
Edit oops like that was here
@@stephenolan5539 Re-Imagined? with Tessa Thompson as Lola? Wow. lol

Are ww doing this again? I miss the old days of dogpiling the comment thread
Gamestop! DFV!
Saw this in the theater a long time ago. Fantastic film. Franke was cast in the Borne Identity due to her amazing acting in this film.
This film inspired JJ Abrams Alias series.
Saw the movie today for the first time and on the big screen. Really really good movie! 🙂
Hoping to see this in a theatre near me. I first saw this on DVD in 2002. I was blown away! On top of the movie, I’ve listened to soundtrack many times since. Which is also fantastic!
I remember my actually hip high school teacher showing us this movie and it's been imprinted in my brain ever since. That guy had the best taste!
Brilliant film. I hope it will get a new audience with this release.
This is my favorite movie of all time
Excellent film. Glad to see it back again.
And what a great soundtrack too! ❤☮🌎
Got to see this on the big screen when it premiered in the US.
Movies. Didn't. Get. Better. Man, to think this woman is now reduced to playing Mother Mayhem on TITANS.
Run GME Run 🎉
I saw this way back in the day in Midtown Atlanta at some random empty theatre. So great. It was the perfect friday night nothing to do film.
Deep Fucking Value! 🚀
Love this movie❤
Back then I was a runner. Loved the film and the soundtrack
Really appreciated this film! It came did it's thing and left you satisfied! Lola Rendt
"Run Dora Run", should be the next "Dora the Explorer" remake
A Masterpiece, Arguably the Greatest Film ever Made, up there with the Godfather and Star Wars.
I watch this movie a long time ago and was very impressed...
Yep I still have two dvds of this movie.
I’m so excited this will be returning to theaters!
This movie was such a thrill that first time. And the soundtrack smacks
Yes.
So freaking excited about this, I hope they bring it to Mexico 🥲
Loved it
June 7th? I'm so excited 🚀
This movie was playing for a week at an art house theater near me. Today is the last day to watch it. I'm deciding if I should. I've never seen it and usually love 80s and 90s flicks. It starts in 3 hours.
just watched it today. best movie i watched in a while! also is movie sound track on spotify? cause i could not find it in there :/
Search for "Lola rennt" it is there (at least in my country, only one track is not available).
This has to be at least in the top 500 of best films ever made. 500 sounds like a lot, but so aren’t the movies that have been made. In my personal top 10.
🚀🌝🐵
Interesting.

What’s the next release for Sony Pictures Classics
If it’s Moon or The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus than in better be in IMAX
I hope it’s Waltz With Bashir, cause it really shows the horrors of war on the perpetrators and the victims
Or Persepolis or even Secret Ballot or Offside
Who made The Pillow Book?
@@stephenolan5539don’t know
Berlim 90s
Is this Sandstorm Darude?
The good ol’ 90s when they had originality and no woke or political agenda.
How is that not Theo James?
I've never seen anything she is in that wasn't brilliant. Don't know why she isn't more acclaimed.
I RAN SO FAR AWAY by A Flock of Seagulls = very good song ^_^
Lmfao, they literally just gave up and started rereleasing movies. Hollywood is creatively bankrupt.
They've re-released films like this for decades.
Movies being re-released was a regular practice until cable showed up. Disney re-released movies every 7 years. This is a classic that belongs on the big screen.
Re-releasing movies has been a common practise for about 70 years
this kind of seems like a joke trailer ngl
Looks horrible
U don't know shit
@Forthesakeofalmighty
You wouldn’t get it anyway.
I saw it, will not re-watch it.
