I didn't get a college degree until I was 34 years old because I found jobs that didn't require a four-year degree. This was in 2016. In 2024, more employers will waive the degree requirement and pay you over $100K for jobs with professional certificates. Find out what career field is paying the big bucks with the highest shortage rate.

I have over $1m in the bank and I only have a high school education.
The key is being a good reliable worker that minds your own business and don’t tattle or complain. I’ve had numerous job offers because of this.

@@g9625 I was curious about how you apply it to your life and if you find it enjoyable, a learning experience that applies to your job, or both.

I actually have great interest in pursuing Accounting; however, every single job post does require a college degree in the area in which I live, including remote positions. College is not an option for me due to financial reasons, My husband and I live very conservatively on his income. I am eager though to generate income myself so that my husband can retire early, living in a rural area limits greatly job options.

if you pick a poor major(unless you back it up with some relavent classes/skills) - college is not worth it. if you pick some expensive private school, college is probably not worth it - some companies are just lowering standards for their woke agenda.
