Los Lobos has always been the coolest band from day one. I like how they're leaning into old age like real musicians, playing the little gigs night after night, just getting better as they go. And even though they're LA boys they've always dug the Dead.
I've seen them at least 6 times, they were amazing opening for the Dead- David and Cesar onstage with them doing this and La Bamba... Kiko is simply a masterpiece of an album! and they kick serious butt playing live...
Aaaaaa, one piece is missing: Caesar Rojas 😎🎸… but it is nice seein the boys jammin along. Been a fan since’85 and seen em live maybe 15-20 times.. Mas y Mas….🌊🏄♂️🌊, off the hook, and Kiko. And all the volver/volver … been a fantastic ride. Thanks boys!!
Man, I don't think West LA Fadeaway could be bettered covered by any other group that reaches the depth of that by Los Lobos. Fantastic.
