Oh my goodness! I actually just downloaded your previous version of this from your Google drive last week and have been basking in its wisdom 🙏🏽 May we all be like the Ocean and the Great Mountain 💜 Longchenpa’s ethereal & poetic way of transmitting such deep Truth is so powerful.
Wonderful, Sujatha. If you only downloaded it last week then it is the same version as this one here - the revamped one. I had uploaded that onto GD some time back but have only just gotten around to uploading the new version on YT today. I'm so pleased to know you continue to hear and appreciate this deepest of wisdom. Yes, he is a poet seer, the Blessed Longchenpa is. There is no one like him in my opinion. 💜
@@SamaneriJayasara Yes this version sounds the same as the one I downloaded :) Thank you! Longchenpa is truly unique, I agree there is no one quite like him ... I have been enthralled with him since the moment you introduced me to him! 🌸 It is interesting because I often find myself spontaneously contemplating how the Dzogchen and Advaita teachings overlap ... and I know that Longchenpa has such a different style than Bhagavan Ramana! But recently I have been returning to the basic question Guru~ji often proposed, “To whom to these thoughts arise?” as a means of returning to & abiding in the un~differentiated pure Consciousness. And as I listen to this, the practice & experience of “resting as the Ocean” feels so similar in my heart! And I cannot help but think of the Mountain as Arunachala ☀️ With deepest gratitude to you Jayasara, as always 🙏🏽 Om Namah Shivaya ❤️ (ps ~ Shivaratri is in a few weeks ... I will remind you :)

Dear Samaneri. Ever since I raised the doubt about why stirrings need occur from enlightened intent, explanations have been articulated by Guru Guru Longchenpa in every teaching I hear. The perfect explanation appears in these teachings as the stirrings being a means of strengthening the experience of meditative stability. As expressions of the true nature of the mind that can be used to stabilize your meditation more profoundly on the ground. Thank you so much for bringing us practitioners these invaluable teachings. Gratitude and thanks.
Thank you for this precious sadhana of sound and splendors dearest Yayasara The realm of Supreme lucidity. Resurrecting and Awakening these lucid masters in our hearts and minds through hearing. Deep bows
Truly wise words on the true nature of mind,,thank you for this re-upload Jayasara......may all being benefit from the Teachings of the sublime master Longchen Rabjam
Thank you so much. I have learnt new teachings and reassured previous understandings. I rejoice in your work dedicate the merit to the continuation of your work and swift enlightenment along with all beings
Such deep appreciation for the artistry and refined state of mind which has been cultivated so as to transmit these teachings on your channel in such an effortless way. The tone of delivery is the master key which allows for the immersion within a deeply receptive state so they can resonate at the most appropriate and transformative level of mind. Is there any way they can be made available on a memory stick or SD card? I would love to buy them so as to have a tangible, high quality audio recording, for the times when there is no access to the internet, and also to contribute funds for your hermitage.

Thanks for this great teaching, Samaneri! I have been pondering the meaning of “enlightened intent” in Lonchenpa’s teachings. I am curious how you/others personally define that phrase and also how it applies to your/others' daily life. Thank you.
Hi there, best to let Longchenpa himself explain that term as it is quite a unique term used mainly in translations of his. He says: "The natural abiding of enlightened intent is meditative absorption as a state of resting imperturbably. If the characteristics of ordinary consciousness do not stir in the mind, that itself is enlightened intent." So...we could say that if one turns the mind continuously towards the Deathless element - the natural abiding of Awareness itself - and stands upon that, one can attain final fruition, or the supreme awakening. The enlightened intent is this "intention" to recognise and to naturally abide in this awareness which is self-liberating. Hope that helps clarify somewhat.

@@tonygiannetto8490 I think beingness is the ultimate reality. Our sense of beingness is the first illusion, the foundation of nature which I believe to be the entanglements of infinitely expanding illusions. I also believe that these illusions are the glory of God or the first beingness. 🙏
Tony, these sorts of questions and ponderings cannot be explained or understood through words. The Ultimate Reality is only understood through one's direct experience, beyond all conceptual limitations. Even if someone tries to explain it, it won't be the truth - only a set of cleverly constructed words and paradigms. That is why the wise ones keep silent on this issue. The Buddha said that the Ultimate Truth is: "Sanditthiko, akaliko, ehipassiko, opanayiko, paccattam, vedittabbo, vinnuhiti." Which translates as: "Apparent here and now, Timeless, Encouraging investigation, Leading inwards, To be experienced individually by the Wise." - That last point is key!
