  • The true story of a pack of wolves that, driven by hunger, began to prey on the inhabitants in Paris during a winter in 1450. The first time I read about it I knew I wanted to somehow make a short film about it. A sad story for both wolves and humans. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Adam

Thanks, Adam. Ihave really enjoyed this. I live in New Hampshire in the Northeast of North America. There were lots of wolves here until the early European settlers wiped them out in fear of them.

Dear Stephen, I apologize for the late response. Thank you for watching and for your kind comment. I wish you all the best from Copenhagen and hope the wolves may one day return to New Hampshire. Here in Denmark we now have a few free wolves roaming in the forests. They were here first. Cheers, Adam

I listened to this video 3 times at work today. It's chilling that all those years ago, French people weren't worried about running into English armies or hooded bandits, but animals that normally don't interact with humans (speaking as an American here). It would've been more epic if you had done the part where Courtaud (Bobtail) and his Superpack were ambushed and killed.

Dear American Crusader, thank you for watching and for your comment. A truly amazing story this one. And fascinating to look at the cathedral and imagine that it happened right there. All the best from Copenhagen, Adam

Weird because every source I can find say this event did happen, however not in 1450 but in 1439. That would make sense that there were a breach in the walls at this time since the city had just been liberated from the english 3 years prior.

Dear JBaptiste, thank you for watching and for your interesting comment. I have read quite a few articles where the winter of 1450 is mentioned (have copy/pasted a few below) - but whether it was 1439 or 1450 it's a fascinating and truly eerie story. I wish you and your family all the best from Copenhagen, Adam

Dear m dunc, thank you for watching and for your comment. I don't have the competence to understand its meaning. But if you liked the movie I thank you. If you don't, I hope you found out quickly. Time is, I've finally understood after getting older, the most precious resource. I wish you all the best from Copenhagen, Adam Ruben

@@youngwritersguild3058 because the content is good, and the subject matter is very intriguing, i wished it would be longer. I work outside in the woods all day, listening to youtube, and cant always rely on youtube's autoplay or be able to change videos so i lean towards longer videos.
