Not seeing your baby for 2 whole days must seem like a lifetime. You can't explain to her what's happening, why her baby's not with her. Just the joy and relief when she finally gets to holds him. I love Mahale and her sweet baby.
When she entered I got the sense she felt her baby had died & was grieving. The second that little hand reaches out to her she snatches her child up so quickly & with such fierceness & joy. So Beautiful!
No, she removed the blanket because it was in the way, because she held the blanket with one arm and not the baby what could be dangerous when she move away, the blanket may drag the baby out from her arms. You don't know what she felt, it is impossible to know what an other being feel, feelings are personal.
@@Zodroo_Tint makes sense. If someone steps barefoot on Lego pieces, or goes through a break up with someone, or gets tickled, or tells a joke to a room full of people and no one laughs.....it's impossible to know how they feel since feelings are personal, right?🤪 And the evidence is clear: she removed the blanket to physically feel closer to her baby.
This comment about “how can we think animals cannot feel” , always makes me so fkn confused. We are animals, we evolved from this, why would anyone think they and other animals do not have emotions, when we are animals ourselves and have emotions, makes no sense…
OMG the sudden realization that it was her baby, the instant reaction of picking him up and holding him close to her was the most heartfelt thing I have ever seen. It just goes to show, mothers never forget their children 🥲🥲
Why don't you read some of the accounts of chimpanzee attacks on humans. You help make the case that woman can't be trusted because of how you place emotion over logic. These things are the most barbaric creatures in nature.
I’m a serious waterworks over here. So touched. The most purest precious love caught on camera thank goodness. This gives us all such necessary perspectives about animals. They are also like us. We must value and respect them wholeheartedly ❤
The sheer joy she had when she realised her baby was alive fills my heart with love, animals are more compassionate then most humans and we could learn so much from them. Also the baby knew it's mama was around that is why it reached out for her❤
It was definitely a beautiful moment when she realised her baby was alive and well, however it is definitely NOT correct that animals are more compassionate than (most) humans - let's not get carried away by our emotions 🙏
I’m crying like a fool over that embrace. The way she held her baby and the wave of emotions that swept over her when she saw his little hand. So pure and so full of love.
I'm 52 years old and my Momma passed away 21 years ago. Watching this made it seem like it was yesterday. There is NOTHING in this world like a mother's love for her child.
I am sorry to state this but my loving caring mother at 88 years is not the same one would expect. Not a burden but bitter with her life & expressing it 24x7. Bottom line we miss what we do not have & get fed up when we have in excess.

@@bindra1731 You said it. Poor momma…Imagine the despair she must have felt having her baby & then suddenly it’s gone, and her not understanding what happened. I could feel the pure relief she had when she discovered her little one was there. 🥰
This is what happens to every mother cow-- babies forcibly taken away- over and over- we then take her lactation and make “cheese” or “icecream”-- this is why ppl are vegan-- dairy is evil and takes newborn babies away from mothers- they will end up as veal or used as breeding machines to make more lactation (cow milk).
@@jessicawheeler579 The baby was born by C-section, so the mama had never seen her baby until that moment. She was pregnant, then she was put to sleep, and when she woke up she was neither pregnant nor did she have a baby 😔 Thank goodness both mama and baby had a very happy ending though! 🥰
She looked so disoriented and defeated when she went into the enclosure, carrying her blanket...she probably thought that the baby had died...but then, her greatest joy and wish came to be when her baby's little hand shot up....she was trembling she was so emotional...
That's what I thought too. Some might say she only the noticed the baby when he lifted his hand, but she noticed him immediately and seem to think he was dead. You can tell she was trying to come to terms right before his hand raised
And I don't always cry even though I feel things. My mom, who has empathy but also had a lot of childhood trauma finds it nearly impossible to cry. Those few times in my 58 years that I ever saw her cry are memorable to me because I know she was allowing herself to really feel and not trying to stay in control.
I've watched this so many times and I still cry when I see it. Mama is so happy to see her baby. I dare anyone to tell me that animals don't have feelings. That's pure unadulterated love, a mother's love if I never see it again, I saw it there.😊

So lovely. I can’t stop watching it. Mama makes this vocalization when she realizes baby is there that sounds like relief to be reunited with her baby. When she sees that arm come out of the blanket she can’t pick up her baby fast enough and seems to tremble with emotion. Such a beautiful perfect reunion ♥️🇨🇦

@mistannybell5127 Sadly, Kucheza (the baby) died when he was just 5 weeks old. An autopsy was done & determined he died from head trauma. The zoo staff said that, based on the positive dynamics from the chimps group, the head trauma was likely from an accident (he fell), rather than violence or a confrontation. He was born on Nov 15th, 2022 & died five weeks later on Dec 22nd, 2022. When the caretakers/zoo staff got to work that morning, they found Mahale (Kucheza's mom) cradling Kucheza in her arms. There are several articles about it. 💔

Not seeing your baby for 2 whole days must seem like a lifetime. You can't explain to her what's happening, why her baby's not with her. Just the joy and relief when she finally gets to holds him. I love Mahale and her sweet baby.
I cried like a baby 😢😢😢 seeing how she quickly grabbed the baby. Biggest congratulations to her❤❤❤
When she entered I got the sense she felt her baby had died & was grieving. The second that little hand reaches out to her she snatches her child up so quickly & with such fierceness & joy. So Beautiful!
Unfortunately it did die later. I saw an article it lived a month

Oh no, guys that’s so sad!!
Cows are also this same way with their babies , pigs too . That was tear jerking 🥰💗💗💗
So sweet the way she removed the blue blanket just to feel her baby closer to her.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes
No, she removed the blanket because it was in the way, because she held the blanket with one arm and not the baby what could be dangerous when she move away, the blanket may drag the baby out from her arms.
You don't know what she felt, it is impossible to know what an other being feel, feelings are personal.
@@Zodroo_Tint makes sense. If someone steps barefoot on Lego pieces, or goes through a break up with someone, or gets tickled, or tells a joke to a room full of people and no one laughs.....it's impossible to know how they feel since feelings are personal, right?🤪
And the evidence is clear: she removed the blanket to physically feel closer to her baby.
The baby must have smelled her scent. That little arm reaching out was pure joy. ❤🥰
Don’t doubt they separated them again for ever once they got the footage to go viral those c**ts.
How anyone can harm these beautiful creatures is beyond me. People who think they don’t have emotions or feelings are just ignorant.
This comment about “how can we think animals cannot feel” , always makes me so fkn confused. We are animals, we evolved from this, why would anyone think they and other animals do not have emotions, when we are animals ourselves and have emotions, makes no sense…

Also the baby knew it's mama was around that is why it reached out for her❤
We learned plenty from animals. Tiger style, crane style, snake style, and so on .
It was definitely a beautiful moment when she realised her baby was alive and well, however it is definitely NOT correct that animals are more compassionate than (most) humans - let's not get carried away by our emotions 🙏
I cry every time I watch this. Bless them both.
We can see the pure mother's

I’m crying like a fool over that embrace. The way she held her baby and the wave of emotions that swept over her when she saw his little hand. So pure and so full of love.

Male chimps hunt in "platoons", take babies from their mothers, pulled them apart and eat them in front of the mothers like its a barbecue party.
Absolutely beautiful! Don't tell me animals don't have feelings!
@@bindra1731 sounds like a woman who has a lot of regrets and wishes she had made different decisions in life. I am sorry for her, but not everyone lives like that and some of use only get happier and more joyous the older we get. Just depends what path your on in this lifetime. @@bindra1731- OMG this is so true. Thanks for sharing this!
@@bindra1731 You said it. But it is well known that when people really really get into their elder years , and that can depend on one's health and genetics, they can change from what they used to be because of senility, seeing the world change and many of their friends die and remembering times they liked better (etc) . There are times when people were practically "practicing " to grow old UN-gracefully all their lives.
Yes, her suffering without the baby she birthed is unimaginable. There is no stronger bond between two mammals, than a mama and her baby.
I was wondering why she was away from her baby for 2 days how sad for the mother so happy to see them together again

That's what I thought too. Some might say she only the noticed the baby when he lifted his hand, but she noticed him immediately and seem to think he was dead. You can tell she was trying to come to terms right before his hand raised

Show this video to every human being and you’ll be able to separate the psychopaths from those with empathy. No one should be unmoved by this. ❤
Unfortunately not. Psychopaths are very good at faking emotions when they need to.
Amen
And I don't always cry even though I feel things. My mom, who has empathy but also had a lot of childhood trauma finds it nearly impossible to cry. Those few times in my 58 years that I ever saw her cry are memorable to me because I know she was allowing herself to really feel and not trying to stay in control.

She came in wondering what did those humans do with my baby, she picked him up, threw away the human staff (blanket) and held him close. So beautiful❤❤
@@SagebrushRambles That's what I thought at first, too, but Mama makes two, distinct, ape-y ooh-oohs, then you can hear the caretaker. Volume needs to be up.
This rips my heart every single time. It just shows how very much this mother had mourned losing her baby. You can feel her joy and relief as she discovers her baby's not gone after all. She will be an amazing mommy!
Yet people still buy those babies to have as pets. And the mothers are bred until they can’t have anymore or die.
