What an inspiring story - from rags to riches indeed! The fact that his wife stood by him and even looked after his younger siblings is just amazing, and she is really beautiful. Truly God can make a way where there seems to be no way - kudos to Ochieng and Pamela!
Most men tend to turn their backs on their women who suffered with them.this is areal man.may God uplift you more.the way he praises his wife is just incredible.
This so me....he chased me away..he told me when you have money thats when you know the true colours of someone...and it's true his true colours was chasing me away with nothing after all we been through together
Lynne these are the only stories I care about, because if you want to measure how well any country is faring economically, you need to look at the lives of the poor and to see if they are going through what I call "UPWARD MOBILITY", that is what makes China such a challenge for the west. There were once hundreds of millions of Chinese people who were lifted out of abject poverty, along with that came massive buying power. The Chinese consumer today is amongst the most important on earth today. So this man's story gives me great hope that the teeming rural populations of Africa will rise up to be like this gentleman. Well done sir.
Ooooh who feels the way am feeling when he appreciates pamela i love this in his own time he makes all things better and beautiful kujeni kwangu team lynn
This man is different from many African men, when they get a little bit of money they marry more wives, get more children, then fights begin, but he stood by his wife and stayed focused on his youthful wife, he did not get lost of Nairobi life styles of endless women and drinking, he is a great example to all of us
The Boss knew the risk of giving the man all the money & that is the reason why they were given money in the bank as a couple. It is not the norm to be paid in the presence of the wife so there is a story the Indian knows that has not been mentioned.
OH MY WORD!!!! This type of a man!!! One in a million, he’s so so humble and you can see the joy that flows through him to his wife, even when they had nothing this man gave her peace and assurance of love and fidelity, that’s the fuel to a woman’s heart, she also is so humble and supportive of her husband. They have been humble and loyal and faithful to each other, even when with nothing and now they are enjoying the fruits of their love and hard work I truly admire this man
Humility of this man. Staying his ground. Trusting himself. Working with the right people. Listening to the right people and sticking with the people who want to see you win I'm grateful of his boss and how they put him on. I'm grateful for this man's hige heart. Never let poverty brwak him or people's wagging tongues to pull him back. May he prosper. And he's right, carpentry and construction are some the highly paid jobs in the West. This man will take kenya far. He's goal set, and down to earth and giving the youth a future unlike what he had. This was a great episode Lynn.
Wow! What a story! It's Ochieng's humility for me, the way he is acknowledging God,appreciation of his wife, his gratitude to his bosses and his loyalty...
Why are some people so bitter of others success, his village thought that being born in a humble background,he will remain poor forever as if they know God's plans.
Very inspirational, Mr. Ochieng has a kind heart. He reminded me of a luo friend my dad had. He barely had much but showed my dad so much kindness. We are kikuyus. More Blessings to Mr Ochieng.
He reminds me of Ochieng who made my mum's furniture around 2006. He was so gifted, and his designs were futuristic. I always wonder where he went. Great work Ochieng.
Very inspirational. To those who wake up dreaming of earning millions in a day this is a good story. It doesn't matter how much input you made in your school life, in real life you must be patient. Accountability and responsibilities will get you where you ought to be. Never want to be rich when impulsive and not ready. Great lesson learnt. 😊
Very inspiring. Thanks Lynn Ngugi for this story. Watching this sitting near the said king serenity houses operating my small retail shop. I feel blessed. God have been faithful
I was very very inspired by this story . There is nothing that God can’t do when you walk in honesty and purity leaving everything else in His hands. I admire you and the support you got from your wife. I wish you were on the western side of the world so I can have some of your skilled work showcase in my home. What I also like about your story is that as God blessed you you were a blessing to others. Give and it will be given back to you , full measure press down and running over. May the lord continue to bless you as you’re a blessins.
He said God wanted to use him to save the situation in his village. Amazing! Authentic and inspiring. May God keep uplifting you. Thanks Lynn for this story and many others
I am truly inspired by this episode, the determination, patience, being trustworthy his humbleness, the kind heart ❤️ and being hardworking, good job👏Ochieng'..I have being inspired 🥰🥰
Inspiring story from John . That's how genuine people start life. Some just appear from nowhere and they are rich. That's an authentic story . Be humble. A humble beginning story flows smoothly . Thanks

Can we learn from this story , do your hustle passionately and trust God He will change the situation
I love these videos ❤❤❤ I uses to sell popcorn for 10 bob during the virus season, it paid my rent for a year. People want to believe that some job's can't do a thing.

I like the song in the end -so trust the process one day your life is gonna change.that is absolutely true and thanks alot LNN for the wonderful episode. We've seen how God can lift someone from dust to sitting with Kings . What an inspiring story .
A most inspiring story!! The fact that he learned carpentry on the job is intriguing, considering that it is one of the most well paid and respected trades in America. Also, his story surely shows how a good wife can inspire a man to be all that he can be. However, I do think his employer took advantage of him, but he still managed to make the most out of the deal, considering the constraints.
Congrates Mr.Ochieng for standing firm..ata kaa umepata pesa hukuchizi na wanawake . Ulisimama imara..you are for real a great well disciplined n full of humility
Hard work and faith do pay... A very humble guy who is down to earth...Sio wengi aki😢😢..Mungu akubless !!salute to your wife as well..She is one of a kind

Hongera sana Ochieng kwa kuweza kuacha bitterness nyuma na kwenda mbele even supporting fellow villagers. This is really a good inspiration story, authentic kabisa. Harafu mpole na kuamini Mwenyezi Mungu. You are blessed Ochieng and your wife a gift from God, a prudent wife. Yeah, you deserve a good quiet time with your wife, Mombasa ni poa. Thanks Lynn and team 👏👏👏
Amazing, this reminds me of a speech by Martin Luther entitled WHAT'S YOUR LIFE BLUEPRINT. One of the notable quotes is “If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. A great story, Lynn. As is evident from Mr. Ochieng's story, it is an old saying, "Nothing is impossible with the willing heart'. Keep up the good work, sir and may God extend your borders.
My dad is a carpenter, it has not been easy since my childhood, but we are not where we were and I nkow tomorrow will be more different. Mr. Ochieng is a wise man and God gave him a wise woman, a lot more is coming ‼

Mungu sio mwanadamu kweli, yaani his life history, he's inspiring so many of us never to give up in this life when God is the driver of our life.
This man is different from many African men, when they get a little bit of money they marry more wives, get more children, then fights begin, but he stood by his wife and stayed focused on his youthful wife, he did not get lost of Nairobi life styles of endless women and drinking, he is a great example to all of us
