I just bought a USA (MT) 2023 CFORCE 800XC. It didn't come with turn signals/flasher, park lockout, hitch or mirrors. I have since found out there are EU, CA and USA models of this machine and they do not all come equipped with the same standard options. When researching mine I saw machines that had those features and thought that is what I would get, but when I went to pick mine up out of town it didn't have any of those features. I am new to CFMOTO and ATV"s so it would be nice if people would explain in their video's where they are from or what country the machine is built for. It might save some confusion for new buyers like me if they are not aware of the differences. Thanks for a great video!
Hi @markhoover5915 Sorry for the delayed response. Yes - fair comment ... and I have also discovered that options can vary among dealerships as well. For example, a friend of mine picked up a new 2022 800 XC here in Ontario (Canada) and it came with a Champion winch instead of the CFMOTO house brand. I guess local dealers can customize as they see fit. I will endeavour to explain that my videos are 'Canadian' from here on out. Hope you are enjoying your new ride! Keep putting in those smiles and miles. Happy trails to you.

I just bought this same color in the 800. Even after watching videos about it. I was shocked how powerful this thing is. Its big and heavy but can really move. And its so damn comfortable with my wife and I on it. Great review. Good explanation of why you bought it
Hi Rick Thanks for the comments and glad you’re liking your new 800!!! Yes - there’s lots of power and the ride comfort is amazing. Totally agree with you. Glad you’re enjoying it! Keep putting on those smiles and miles. Happy trails to you.
great video Joel, we have the 625 and the 850 (Australian spec they call the 800 the 850) with limited rear differential, have done now 3700 KM without a single problem and still looking and riding as new. great machines enjoy your new bike.
Hey there down under! Awesome! Thank you for watching and sharing your CFMOTO experience. It’s great to hear about these machines from the global community. Than you! Happy trails mate!
Great video! I bought my 2022 Cforce 1000 in May and I'm loving it. I've had two minor warranty issues (trunk lid and water pump leak) and my local dealer Canmac in Elmsdale NS got them fixed up right away. The four wheeler is incredibly comfortable, has great standard features and a really good selection of accessories. I have the same rear box as you and also got the front box, bumpers and skid plates. I only heard of the brand in February and it was the pricing that attracted me to them. Like you, real talk power sports was my main source of information along with redneck garage. We need more people like you posting honest reviews. Thank you
Hi Jamie! Thanks for watching and sharing about your purchase too. Yes, Blake had a tremendous impact on my decision to purchase a CFMoto … he and Joel from Main Street Cycle truly are great ambassadors for the brand. So happy that you got into one yourself and are enjoying the great outdoors. Take care and happy trails Jamie.
Are these good for road use only like touring, as wife feels safe on them and gad a trike but wife felt uneasy .we got no trials in uk wear im at .so thinking just for road as good .cheers if reply.
I bought a new 2023 800 XC February of this year 2024 already has just under 800km on it would have been more but i have a Polaris 500 which i ride too.. The 800 runs like a Cadillac.. only gripe was it was really touchy in low range especially trying to maneuver in tight spaces but bought a primary clutch kit which took care of that.. really happy with the purchase
Hi Joe! Congratulations on your purchase. Well done. 👍 I totally agree that the 800’s run really well. The suspension and ride is top quality. Where did you purchase your clutch kit? Happy trails!
Hey @yogi799! Thanks for watching and commenting! We’ve traditionally been riding the ‘5 Points’ KATVA trail system area. Do you know where I mean? Essentially trailering up to Superior Propane north of Fenelon and riding from there. I’m looking forward to getting out as soon as the trails open.
I’ve been back and forth on which 2up to buy. I don’t like the battery location on the Polaris and the price for an a can am outlander is insane!!!! I keep coming back to cfmoto videos and yours is very convincing. I really want to ride with my wife and I think she would love this model. Great video! Thanks.
Hey mixflip! I know exactly what you mean bro! I was in the very same valley of decision about a 2 up Atv. Here’s some food for thought. After recently riding my parents Polaris, I really noticed the difference in suspension and handling. The 800 CFMoto is a completely different machine than the Polaris. I really felt and noticed that the Polaris was not as firm or stable when riding the trails with 2 people compared to the 800, especially if you are traveling fast. I felt like the Polaris would wander and sway or not absorb the bumps like the 800. I also totally hate where Polaris put their rads. Way too low. The CFMoto rad location is higher and way better for mudding. The tires are another factor - the 800 comes with 26’s on 14 in rims. (9 wide at the front and 11 wide for the rear). For a stock tire, the 800 Cforce trumps the competition. I’ve not driven a CanAm Max, and so I can’t give any commentary on them at all. I do like them and was also considering purchasing one. My wife and kids really enjoys riding and they feel comfortable and secure. The 800 sits the passenger higher and more upright or forward ( if that makes sense) than the Polaris. Maybe it’s because of the frame/suspension difference. Just yesterday I had my daughter with me on a ride and we went through some pretty deep water and terrain- I didn’t get any footage unfortunately- but the 800 came through and climbed out with ease. Anyways, all I can tell you is that I’m glad I went with the 800 series in the CFMoto. They are a beefier setup than the other models. Whatever you decide will be the right choice. Any dealership should let you and your wife get on any quad your looking at and drive it around their lot at least. That way you can both get up on one and see how one feels versus the other. Regardless of what you purchase, I’m really happy for you and your wife. It’s a great investment towards time together in the great outdoors. Well done! All the best.
Thanks Joel, I'll let you know what happens. In 2011 I've crossed USA by motorbike, alone, from Atlantic Ocean (Delaware) to Pacific Ocean (Oregon) on a route that 90% was off road. First italian that did it! Then, in 2013, I got a kind of stroke and I can't drive motorbike anymore. That's why I'm thinking to buy a ATV. Ciao.
I just bought the ‘22 1000 Overland and love it. Very happy with CF I had a ‘20 Outty 650 XT Max, and it was s as beautiful machine, but maintenance definitely wasn’t user friendly. Everything on the CF is easy to access. Great video!
Hey Adam! Thanks for watching and chiming in! Those Overlands do look impressive. Glad to hear that your happy with it and that the maintenance is easier than the competition! Ha! Great to hear. Thank you. I’m sure that you’re going to love getting away on your new machine. Where do you ride? Happy Trails Adam! Thanks
Can't really beat what you get for the money on these. I'm getting more familiar with them and from what I'm seeing and reading they are holding up well.
Hey Dirty Jak & The Dusty Bean! I completely agree with you - I think that these CForces are the best bang for the buck in the ATV market. I’ve put on 1500 problem free km’s this season with the 800 and anticipate many many more. I added some hand warmers and a thumb warmer recently to help with the cooler weather riding. Hopefully getting out next weekend before the trails close for the winter. Happy Trails!
Does the 800 XC come with a skid plate or only the 1000? Can’t decide between 800 and 1000, do I really need the extra power. I care most about a plush ride but low end power is fun!
Hi @crfamily6946 My 800 came with a stock plastic skid plate here in Canada. I would think that it’s a standard thing that CFMoto does, but I can’t speak to regions outside Canada. I believe that my Spring maintenance video may show you the stock skid plate that came with mine. I’ve only driven the 800 and so I’m not able to compare the ride difference between the two … but I’m sure that either one will generate lots of smiles and miles! Kept me posted on your new purchase! Happy trails 👍
Thank you Nevin! I’m glad that I followed your advice and got the 800. We absolutely love it. I’m already thinking about adding to the CFMoto family! You’ll be getting a call when I do. 😀👍👍
Great review! I was interested in the Suzuki king quad and I just went to my local dealer and test drove a king quad 750 and a CF Moto 800 XC and it even had the same orange as yours! Don’t get me wrong the King Quad is a great machine BUT that CF 800 feels munch more powerful. It snaps right off and goes and feels like butter too! I liked much better. The dealer couldn’t praise them enough and said not only do they rarely need to work on them after selling them but the company covers all kinds of damage even if a customer is at fault for wrecking it. They truly care about their customers it looks like and their parts from Canada and Bosch are high quality. I’d want to upgrade tires and add things to a new king quad, but the CF Moto comes with everything I’d need for less money! Can’t beat that. Only thing. I’d buy extra would be a plow for ten winter and a good cart to haul firewood. I’m sold. When I can afford it the CF Moto 800 will be my choice.
Hey Zechariah! Amen bro! You’ve tasted and seen that CFMoto is good! Ha! Totally agree with your initial thoughts and assessment. I too am a believer. Yes - there’s always potential issues with all things mechanical - and every machine has its own little idiosyncrasies - but Yes- as you said, CFMoto is standing by their product with a 5 year powertrain warranty! That’s huge! Hope that you’re into one sooner rather than later. All the best.
@@joelholtz Thanks man! I'm in the process of getting a new job and do have some other "priorities" I gotta take care of, but hey payment plans can make stuff fit into budgets and other goals right? Thanks for sharing and happy trails! :D
Hey JP! Thank you! I ordered the rear storage when purchasing the Cforce. Here’s the link to it from CFMOTO Canada: cfmoto.ca/en/rear-cargo-box-cforce-800-1000-ac-lc03-rbox-01 Mine says WindZone on it. I can’t find much info on it other than the CFMOTO Canada site. I know that it doesn’t use the CFMOTO quick connect system. It has a ‘universal’ bolt on system etc. Hope this helps! Happy trails!
Hello Joel, I have a 2020 cforce 1000 . after 6000 km without any issues(just oilchange) ,its a very solid unit of an ATV.Still have fun with it here in Germany
Hi Reinhard! Hello from across the pond here in Canada bud! Thank you for sharing about your Cforce. So good to hear these positive and reinforcing comments about the build quality of these ATV’s. I am with you totally. I am now also beginning to realize the ‘global’ scope of this CFMoto community and that these quads are being driven around the world literally. It is no neat to see and hear. According to my father, my family roots trace back to Alsace-Lorraine. I’d love to get over there someday for a visit. Who knows, maybe I could rent a CFMoto and go for a ride too! 😀 Take care Reinhard. Happy trails my freund!
@@joelholtz hi Joel, thank you for your answere that quick. The fun Part is that the half of my family live in Canada. My father, stepmother and my sister emigrated 93 to whitehorse.yukon.The best Trails of my live are in Canada.
I find these statements either straight up lies or people are super casual with their machines, I’ve broke a few parts on my grizzly with 2000km on it, I’d hate to see what a cfmoto would look like after a year of my riding
Just got one 2021 800xc with 1500km. On it. Did some inspection oil change and all maintenance thing so far so good. Love riding smoothly. Putting some tire studs so going to test frozen river here in Canada ;)
Hey TJ! Congratulations on your new-to-you 800! That’s awesome!!! So happy for you. You’re going to love it! Those studded tires will definitely help you on the ice. Whereabouts are you located in our Great White North? Be safe and Happy Trails!
I've been watching your videos for quite some time now here in Newfoundland, Canada. Have to say I am very impressed by the quality, price, etc. I just bought the 2022 800 xc with the orange color. I've even added a windshield, heated seat and handle grips and of course the rear cargo box. I call my 2019 Yamaha kodiak 700 special edition the beast of the east but my cf moto 800 has claimed the title called the superbeast. Thanks again and keep on biking.
Hi Darren! Thanks for watching all the way from the rock my son! Yes b’y! One of our riding buddies from last year moved out to Newfoundland. He absolutely loves it. It definitely looks like a natural resource paradise. Nice additions to your bike! Yes, I’m sure that the heated seat and handle bars are definitely needed on those cold winter days. Nice! Ha! - Yes - you’ve got a new ‘superbeast from the east’ indeed!!! Awesome! Happy trails Darren!
Great video, thank you for posting! watched this and many others before shopping. I was looking at the 600 touring but the dealer pulled out the 600 and 800xc and let us test drive both back to back. The 800 felt much smoother. I was torn between the lava orange and the "ghost grey".... grey won out. Very pleased with the machine so far.
Hey Kegg! Congratulations on your purchase! Way to go! So happy for you! I completely agree your choice to go with the 800. They definitely are a step up from the other Cforce series. Nothing against the 400, 500, or 600 … in fact - if and when I get another one, it’ll be a 400 or 500 - but I think that the 800 and 1000’s are really in a league of their own. I’m sure that you’re gonna put lots of smiles and miles on you new Cforce Kegg! Whereabouts do you ride? Happy Trails!
Where did you get that rear box??? I live in the USA and just bought 2022 800xc and I'm trying to locate a rear box just like that. I don't care for the rear rack extension and soft sided rear bag they offer. Sharp looking machine!
Hi Christopher! I ordered it from my local dealer here … it’s a Windzone box - or that’s the name on it at least. Here’s a link to the CFMOTO Canadian site that lists it: cfmoto.ca/en/rear-cargo-box-cforce-800-1000-ac-lc03-rbox-01 I tried to Google WindZone cargo boxes, but didn’t really have much success. I’m not sure what else to tell ya bud. Hope you can find a cargo box that you like. Happy trails!
Hello I am looking into the brand pretty hardcore. They have an orange one just like yours that I am seriously thinking of getting but was wondering it the orange will fade. Is yours holding up good so far?
Hi Daniel! Yes - the paint and finish is top notch. Mine is holding up perfectly with no fades or blemishes. All the best with your purchase! Happy trails!
I know that in my area, machines without power steering were being marketed as the ‘Classic’ model. A riding buddy of mine has an 800 without the power steering. So - perhaps your dealer was doing something similar? Whereabouts are you located? I’m in Ontario, Canada. I’m not sure why there was no winch … again, dealers have the ability to add and take away features. My understanding was that winches were to be included from the factory. Thanks
I’m in New Brunswick anyway I’ll be staying on the trail so I don’t think I’ll need the winch and I got my brother a Can-Am four wheeler so we can ride together so if somebody’s in trouble, I feel a lot safer
Hey Karl! Congratulations on your purchase! Right on … Yes, they are a beast indeed - and comfortable to boot! Ha! Great comments. Thanks for watching and weighing in. Happy trails!
I did the same. Blake has some awesome videos as does Steve @ Redneck garage. After ALOT of research, For what I do, the 800xc is perfect. Plenty of power, handles good (for a 900 lb machine) and is super comfortable. I put a stage 2 clutch kit in mine, and had the ECM tuned, and now this thing rips! For trail riding, and work around the property, I had no need to spend thousands more on the competition. Good choice.
Hey Ron! Great stuff man - and I hear you on the research! So glad that your happy with your C-Force and have it setup for ripping and riding. Good stuff and good choice right back at ya! Happy trails!
Ours are the CForce 500's with the upgraded clutch kits ( minimum idle engagement) from Steve at RNG and we LOVE THEM! Perfect for the rocky forest trails we ride!
I’m getting a 2022 brand new never used. I got it for 8599 but because it didn’t have power steering, it’ll be an extra 2700 5 year warranty included. I can hardly wait to get it next week!
Congratulations! That’s awesome. Super happy for you. What colour did you go with? I think you’ll be glad that you got the power steering added. It definitely helps you keep those wheels from darting sideways when going over rough terrain, or hitting mud and water at higher speeds. Nicely done. Now it’s smiles and miles time! Happy trails!
I just bought one. I’m waiting for them to put the power steering on it. I can hardly wait to get it when me and my brother drove into the parking lot and we saw this out there. We were blown away by the look of it.😂
Hey Big Jay! Awesome to hear that you’re happy with your Cforce! Glad that it’s been a good quad for you and am glad that you’re still happy with it. Good stuff and happy trails to you!
600 2up or 800 2up? That is my problem 😂. Thanks for the link of R&R trails. Will visit them this week. The wife gave me the ok to finally get an ATV. So far I'm looking at the 600 Touring model....in camo.
Hey! Right on. Congrats on getting the go ahead. 👍👍 The 600 and 800 are on completely different frames - but will definitely provide a great riding experience. I’ve not driven the smaller series 2-ups, so I have no user experience that I can share. If possible, see if you can take both for a little rip down the road at R&R’s. That might allow you to feel a little bit of the difference between the two. Go with the one that catches your eye and produces a smile! Let me know what you get! Happy trails 👍
I looked at the 600 it's a beautiful machine but coming from a 500cc machine before wih two persons where we ride on the West side of Canada high elevation, hilly , mountainous and long snow season , we decided on the 800 just more power , more torque especially riding in winter.. if you're on the flats or cruising steady speed the 600 would do, unless you're heavy heavy people then just go with the 800.. I'm just over 6 feet 200lbs and another person 180 to 210 lbs not a problem for the 800
Did get the 2024 CForce 600 2up Touring. Love it so far and since I'm new to ATV driving the potential of the machine is not really used yet! But I did go on a ride with a buddy who was on a Honda 400. The Honda broke down in the bush....couldn't start at all...lack of maintenance. Since buddy are experienced, I ask him to drive. My bud was more in the air then on the seat!!! This 600 can GO!!!!
@@useryggfdcc Ha! That’s awesome! Other than your buddies machine breaking down … but now you’ve exposed him to something better!!! Keep flying high! Happy trails!
Hi @jeffroberts7777 I do not know why your gas mileage indicator started blinking ... I am not sure that mine comes with a gas mileage indicator - mine just has a fuel level indicator. Thank you
Hey Jeff! Thanks for watching and I’m glad that you enjoyed the video. Whereabouts in the Great White North do you ride? Do you have a CFMOTO? Curious to hear what your currently riding and where. Thanks for chiming in! Happy trails!
Hey Kenny! Congratulations man. So happy for you! You’re going to love it big time. I didn’t know that turn signals were a Canuck thing … weird. I wonder if turn signals are standard in other countries? Anyways … enjoy your new ride and happy trails!
Hi Joel, this is Massimo from Italy. I'm approaching the ATV world coming from the motorbikes. I know that one of the best ATV is the Yamaha Grizzly 700. Please, could you tell me why you chosen the CF 800? Thank you and sorry for my rusty english. Ciao.
Hi Massimo! Thanks for watching! Wow! Italy. That’s really cool. Your English was spot on by the way. I mentioned my main reasons in the video Massimo. I’ve also been following Blake from Real Talk Powersports for a number of years, and I just came to a place where I knew that I was going to purchase a CFMoto. We specifically chose the 800 model due to its bigger frame and better suspension than the CForce 400,500, 600. We were looking primarily for a 2-up machine. I’m not sure if Yamaha offer a two up ATV? The Cforce 800’s and 1000’s do have the same frame etc … but we went with the 800 rather than the 1000 based on price. The 1000 have some fancier color matched plastics and pieces that make it look really nice to. I guess for me, the Cforce was the best bargain, warranty and nicest looking ATV on the market … and there was a dealer close to me. I’d seriously recommend going to your closest dealer and look over all the ATV’s that are close to you. Get on them and see which one speaks to you and then get out there riding the trails in Italy! Happy Trails Massimo!
Hey Kyle! Congratulations on your purchase! That’s awesome news. You’re gonna love the 800! My rear box came from the factory here in Canada. It says Windzone on the outside of the lid. I let the dealer order it at the time of purchase. Start putting on those smiles and miles! Happy trails!
I'd assume you are in CANADA? I bought a CX800 in Feb of 21 and wanted another one (wanted the overland 1000, but it wasn't yet available in the USA) so I got the wife a touring 600 in March of 21. In America, CFMOTO has gone away with the trailer hitch insert (21 models), the trailer wiring plug (21 models), the horn (23 models) - AMERICA NEVER HAD factory blinkers (something I'd like to have). Ours do NOT come with mirrors either. They charge more and are taking away previously standard features. 😞 Plus, you guys have a 5 year factory warranty; we have a 1 year factory warranty, with many things being warrantied 30 or 90 days (battery, belt, plastics, tires/rims, clutch, etc.). Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE MY CFMOTO's -- BUT very disappointing the things they are getting rid of. I wish I could get a model from Canada that has all the features I want.
Hey angryman71! Holy moly … Wowsers- all of a sudden I am feeling very patriotic. Yes - I am in Canada - and I’m shocked to hear about all these differences that exist. Wow. I knew about the turn signals- but not about the rest. Sheesh. I’d be a bit angry too. I’m sorry to hear this and hope that they don’t do this in Canada any time soon. Happy trails … 😐
Hi Mark Yes - definitely where you purchase matters. Sorry that your friend is experiencing difficulties obtaining parts. Question - where abouts are you and your friend located? I’m not sure if parts are more of a local issue or a global thing. I know that aftermarket CFMoto specific stuff is tougher to find … but hopefully manufacturers will start to broaden their market to include CFMoto machines too! Happy Trails!
@@joelholtz me and my friend live in Ontario Canada !! We have had a couple dealers come and go !! My friend has had a few issues with his sxs !! But getting parts is the biggest problem!!
@@joelholtz nice !! We run a lot of the old track line trails , they take us everywhere we want to go !!! I see a lot of CF moto quads on the trails and everyone seams happy with them !!
Thanks Real J. I do like the Outlander’s. They are a solid quad with a proven history and look pretty darn good too! Thanks for watching and chiming in. Happy trails!
Hi Edw Yes - I’m in Canada and you’re seeing the Canadian dollar amount. Sorry if I was not clear on that. The Canadian price back in January 2022 was $12,999 for the 800 XC EPS. I’m not sure about other markets. Thanks and happy trails!
Hi SklocFN! Well … that’s an open ended question! Here’ the thing - regardless of what I think - Polaris has been successfully making and selling thousands of ATV’s for decades. Their Sportsman line has a loyal cult following and has a proven track record. It’s hard to say otherwise. My parents own one and so do most of my riding buddies. When I took my son up to my folks place for a weekend ride, we switched quads for a little bit. Both my son and I noticed that the Polaris felt softer than the Cforce. When driving the Polaris I felt more movement and travel in the suspension as compared to the Cforce 800. At times the body lean was a little unnerving and really noticeable at higher speeds. But I don’t think comparing the 800 Cforce with the 570 2-up Polaris is truly fair. A better comparison to the Polaris would be the 500 or 600 series from CFMOTO. In my opinion the Cforce 800-1000 chassis and suspension is a step above the other Cforce lines. It’s just a bigger and beefier machine. So, in my opinion, it’s kind of not an accurate comparison. On the personal side, I’m not a fan of the Polaris look, nor do I like how they seemingly ‘squat’ under load. I follow enough of them on the trail to notice how the rear end squats on these Polaris ATV’s. It’s definitely a Polaris thing. But - there’s plenty of Polaris lovers and enthusiasts who will completely disagree with anything and everything I’ve just said! All the best to you and happy trails!
I bought 3, still own 2, a 2019 800 XC touring and a 2021 600 touring. I have a 1997 Polaris also. One thing about CF Moto is you get lots of bang for your buck.
Hey DB! Awesome to hear from a serious owner! Right on. Totally agree with you … CFMoto is definitely challenging the market and offering one complete ATV for an incredible price. Thanks for sharing! Happy trails! 👍👍
@@joelholtz you can’t beat them for the price and I have every bit as much fun on them as I ever had on my Polaris. Take what comes standard on a CF Moto and add those upgrades to a Polaris, Honda or any other ATV and you’re talking thousands of dollars more! CF Moto, so far so good. Many more channels on RUclips about them now than there was in 2018 when I started researching new atv’s to buy. Have fun sir.

Bought my blue 2022 800XC late last year. Absolutely love it. The attention to detail, fit and finish and overall package truly is unbeatable, there is no denying that what you get for the price out the door is crazy. Similarly equipped CanAm Outlander’s are $5K more. Folks who are loyal BRP customers will disagree, but there is no way the Outlander is $5K ‘better’ than the CFM800XC. In many respects, the CFM is better. Facts.
Hi Chris! Well said my man. Totally agree with you 100%. These machines truly look, feel and run really, really well. Glad that you’re loving yours! Where do you ride? I’m hopeful to do a road trip this weekend and ride some different trails with my parents up in Pembroke ON. I’ll try and do a video and compare the CFMoto with their Polaris 2-up as well. Happy trails Chris!
Good explanation and review. That 800 really looks good, great color choice. I've been wanting an atv lately. I've been riding my son's cforce 500 a bit and it's a nice change from riding the side by side now and then. I see you got yours a R & R. Nevin is a good guy! I'll likely go with him next purchase. Give me a wave if you see me on the trails. 😊
Hey there Side Rider! Thanks for watching! Ha! Yes, Nevin really knows his stuff and is a great guy to deal with. I look at their stock too many times thinking that I ‘need’ to get another one! I really like the look of the new 500’s too … and that red looks really good. RealTalkPowersports just did a video on one … I’m tempted daily! 😂😂 Thumbs up all the way bud! Happy Trails!
I have a 2021 cforce 800 xc in lava orange same as yours. Mine didn’t come with fender flares I order them should be here this week. So far it’s been an awesome machine haven’t had any issues with it so far. The power steering on it is awesome and it rides fantastic totally impressed. I have been checking cfmoto out for the last five years or so I decided to buy a new one in January. Being very quality conscious and I’m a mechanic this thing is put together very well. Since I do all the service work I checked it over big time haven’t found any issue with it so far. I don’t know if you’ve noticed it has a 30 L tank so there’s not much chance of running out of fuel unless you can drive it over 200 km in one day. Anyway enjoy your new CFMOTO I know I am enjoying mine. Update Fuel pump started to stop working hot with 1/2 tank of fuel. Replaced now no more issues. 2100 km’s on bike now runs great.
Hi White Knight! Thanks for watching and sharing some great feedback and information about your machine. So good to hear from fellow riders like you that have been doing research and settled on the CFMoto ATV’s. I share your enthusiasm! One of our riding buddies is also a mechanic and he was saying things very similar to you about the build quality. He was impressed with how the undercarriage, suspension and steering components all looked. Glad to hear the same kind of positives from you. Right on. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍 Happy trails!
@@jeffmartin6174 No recall that I know of. My original fuel pump was very noisy when priming fuel system and engine had a bad hesitation when just starting to accelerate. New pump is a lot quieter and no sag/ hesitation
After lots of demo rides and endless research I purchased a cf Moto 1000 Overland. I have no complaints, it's quiet , smooth , well built and the power is predictable and very useable. If ppl did thier homework they would know that cf Moto has been making parts for the other brands for YEARS . The clutches are Canadian Fuel tank empties out at 219 kms This is my 16th quad with the grizzly 700 being my favorite but Yamaha's reluctance to build a two up forced me to make a move and I am not disappointed. Great video , thanks for your time
Hi Jake! Congratulations on your purchase! I’m stoked for you. The Overlanders are sweet looking machines indeed. Great choice. Good for you to do your research and demo rides before pulling the trigger. These are big decisions that have emotional connections weaved in. We are passionate about what we spend our bucks on and sit our butts on! I totally hear you about the CFMOTO brand and history. Those who know … know! I think you’ve made a great choice and look forward to hearing from you down the road. Keep putting those smiles and miles on bro. Happy trails Jake!
Hi Nash Thanks for watching. Sorry that I wasn’t as clear on the ‘why’ for you. I guess price was probably the biggest factor for me - especially when you consider everything that come standard on it. You could also add their industry leading 5 year warranty too. I’ve been impressed with the suspension and handling compared to the 2-up Polaris models. The Polaris does not feel as stable and has more body lean and roll with 2 people compared to the CForce. I’ve not driven a 2-up Can Am. All in all … to me … it’s the best bang for your buck and rides better than the Polaris with 2 people. Happy trails!
Hi John! Oh no! That’s a pretty steep fee to pay indeed. Sorry to hear that. I’m sure that dealers are making decent profits in quads up here, but from what I can tell, the MSRP’s seem to be consistent across the board and inline with head office.
I had them all, and if you want to putt around a Motto is fine but if you want to rip hit the mud and deep water you can't compare a Motto to BRP &POLARIS. Especially up here in Alaska. Like I said I had them all and the motto couldn't hang at the same level.
Hi John Thanks for weighing in and watching all the way from Alaska! Wow. Yes - I am sure that Alaska is definitely rough country and good testing grounds for power sports and equipment. Sorry to hear that your Cforce couldn’t handle it up there. Do you mind me asking what year and model you had, and what seemed to be the main issues? Just curious. Happy Trails to you!
Got the same machine - totally agree w you - check out my Zanger subscription and see all the cheap but cool accessories I v found - VIVA riders over 50 😀
Hi Andrews! Yes … this thing is a beast and definitely recommended for 2-up trail riding. My next one will definitely be a 500 so that it’s a little easier going off the trail etc. Thanks for watching and commenting! Happy trails!
@@joelholtz sorry I meant all CFMoto bikes are heavy. Approx 200lbs heavier than a comparable others like CanAm. That 800 CF might actually start to limit guys with half ton trucks that load the quad in their bed. 1000lbs for the ATV, then people and gear in the cab is getting near or over truck max payloads.
Grossly overpriced now. When they first came out they were a bargain. For what they charge for this machine now… I’ll spend my money on a more widely known brand with service centre’s and parts that are easily obtainable…. not to mention decades of reliability.
Hi Bob, Ha! Yes - you’re right …it’s not a bike. It’s just my slang way of referring to my 4-wheel motorized vehicle. Happy New Year to you and Happy Trials!
Hey secondamendment conservative! That’s right, the CFMOTO does originate from China. Here in Canada, the head office is in Quebec. So I’d like to think that I’m also supporting Canadians too! Thanks for watching. Happy trails!
I think is people are completely honest. They buy a CF Moto because nothing else is available thanks to supply chain issues ,thanks to Covid . Take Covid out of the mix and Cf moto wouldn’t be on the radar for most. People would still be buying the Japanese machines along with Polaris and Can’t Am . I looked at these and honestly they are not convincingly cheaper than the big three . Yes they have the bling ,but bling won’t get you home .
Hi Albertapeet! Interesting perspective. I know that supply chain issues have influenced a lot of things but I’m not sure I completely agree that COVID had boosted the CFMOTO brand. Most people are brand loyal and will usually wait for what they really want. My local CanAm dealer had a lot of loyal people on a wait list for new machines last year. In fact, people needed to put $500 down just to get on the wait list. I could have been #43. For me, when comparing the Cforce to the Outlander Max - the purchase price difference was around $5000. So, for me, a savings of $5000 is pretty significant. But there’s one thing we can agree on - we both want to get home at the end of the day! So far so good for me, and I hope that you’ll always make it home too! Happy trails!
@@joelholtz I would say if Can am is the benchmark , then yes the savings would be more significant. Around here Can am is at the top of the price food chain and the Cf moto being near the bottom. A closer comparison would be Polaris but even they seem to have gone from budget friendly to elite pricing. I looked hard at the CF motto and while they get good reviews for the most part, I would rather see how they fare in the long term. Not saying they are bad but don’t feel the history is there. I hope you have great success with it!
@@albertapeet Thank you! I totally here you - and agree that the CanAm is definitely viewed as the top dog. They are definitely a sweet machine. I’ll keep posting all the good, bad, ups and downs as I go. The main thing is get out there and keep putting on those smiles and miles! Take Care!
The problem with these machines is longevity. It won't last like your yamaha. Unfortunately you can not compare Chinese machines to the proven Japanese quality.
Hi Jacky Sorry you feel that way … but I’m pretty sure that looks are important for a lot of people … but then again … maybe it’s all about personality after all! Ha! Happy trails!
Hey Chris. Sorry that you feel this way. I’m curious as to why you are saying that it’s junk? What year and model was your CFMOTO? What problems did you have etc? What are you riding now? Happy trails!
Yes sir no clue until two weeks ago the first video I seen that guy just sold his Polaris UTV and and he was talking about how he sold it and he was on his way to get a new UTV and it was a I can’t remember if it was silver or gray silver and black CF Moto 1000 cc and I believe it was I think a little more than § 10 000 and he was showing us on the video why he got rid of the Polaris and not the CF Moto he said if you guys remember the dirtbike company KTM from years ago and they also. Had Kawasaki engine and all the Storage you have in the cab and how nice is the display and this one wasn’t even all decked out yet then I start watching videos and this company is great Can-Am and Polaris and Honda our so much more money I ended we’re talking about our 2023 Polaris Can Am raise their prices CF Moto is definitely going to put a dent in their sales and it’s not like you’re not getting a quality machine you’re getting a really nice machine you can actually get a four wheeler and a UTV for about 20 grand and if you shop around you will find some doors when shields 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🛺🛺🛻🛻🛻
Hi Lee Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes - I think CFMOTO is definitely starting to gain some traction. It’s good to have good options out there - and CFMOTO is a good option! Thanks again and happy trails!
Hi @markhoover5915
Sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for the comments and glad you’re liking your new 800!!!

Awesome! Thank you for watching and sharing your CFMOTO experience. It’s great to hear about these machines from the global community. Than you!

Well done. 👍
I totally agree that the 800’s run really well. The suspension and ride is top quality.
Where did you purchase your clutch kit?

Awesome video bud. I'm in the same area as you. Where do you ride? Like the trails in your video etc? Thanks
@@joelholtz thanks Bro! that's right, someone else also just told me it is a nice vast awesome area to go to. you da man!
Very happy with CF
I had a ‘20 Outty 650 XT Max, and it was s as beautiful machine, but maintenance definitely wasn’t user friendly.
Everything on the CF is easy to access.

Does the 800 XC come with a skid plate or only the 1000? Can’t decide between 800 and 1000, do I really need the extra power. I care most about a plush ride but low end power is fun!
Hi @crfamily6946
My 800 came with a stock plastic skid plate here in Canada.

Thank you Nevin! I’m glad that I followed your advice and got the 800. We absolutely love it.
I’m already thinking about adding to the CFMoto family! You’ll be getting a call when I do.

Tell me something why was mine without the power steering and no winch

The 600 and 800 are on completely different frames - but will definitely provide a great riding experience. I’ve not driven the smaller series 2-ups, so I have no user experience that I can share. Go with the one that catches your eye and produces a smile!
Let me know what you get!

Bought my 800 early last summer. Love it
Hi Robert!
Right on.
Glad to hear.
Whereabouts do you ride?
Hey Joel great video, I’m purchasing my first CFMoto tomorrow, same machine just the 23, what rear box do you have?
Hey Kyle!
Congratulations on your purchase! That’s awesome news. You’re gonna love the 800!
My rear box came from the factory here in Canada. It says Windzone on the outside of the lid. I let the dealer order it at the time of purchase.
Start putting on those smiles and miles!

Plus, you guys have a 5 year factory warranty; we have a 1 year factory warranty, with many things being warrantied 30 or 90 days (battery, belt, plastics, tires/rims, clutch, etc.).
There's a big difference in price between Canada and the States on these machines. May have something to do with it, not sure.

Hi Mark
Yes - definitely where you purchase matters.

CFMoto website shows msrp $8999, but this video shows price of $12,999. What should I expect to pay for this vehicle?
Perhaps this is Canadian dollar price. The conversion rate is .74, which converts to $9619 US. That's pretty close, but still over msrp.
Hi Edw
Yes - I’m in Canada and you’re seeing the Canadian dollar amount. Sorry if I was not clear on that.

What do you think about Polaris?
One question… Do you think it’s SOLID?
@@dustinturner9128 One answer: Yes! 😀

Anybody notice the winch cable is routed either wrong or inefficiently? The way its routed now creates unnecessary drag. Hmm.
I bought 3, still own 2, a 2019 800 XC touring and a 2021 600 touring. I have a 1997 Polaris also. One thing about CF Moto is you get lots of bang for your buck.

@@joelholtz you can’t beat them for the price and I have every bit as much fun on them as I ever had on my Polaris.

Hi Nash
Thanks for watching.
