My life can never be the same after watching this sermon! I asked God to guide my steps and lead me to what He wants me to hear today and this is where He led me to! Occurrences in my life are never coincidental, every step is predestined by my Heavenly Father! Thank You Jesus for the revelations you've opened the eyes of my understanding to through this power-packed ministration! I am forever changed!❤🔥
This message is indeed for me. Listened to the message again and it came in a whole new light from the first. Thank you Apostle for this timely message.
2 Scriptures; Hebrews 1:4 NIV [4] So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. Colossians 2:17-18 NIV [17] These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. [18] Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. Hebrews 1 teaches how God's Son is now how God speaks to us, unlike in times past when He did through prophets & angels (Hebrews 1:1). The entire chapter goes on to show how the Son is superior to angels, corroborating with the text from Colossians. Whilst this teaching could be well meaning, I pray it doesn't cause more harm than good. If Jesus nor His apostles neither had the need to teach about “attracting angels”, I wonder why we do now. It's important to not take descriptions in scripture as prescriptions.
Sir, this teaching never exalted angels. Pst iren was making us aware of the ministry of angels, which is still a system that God works with. Remember, the holyspirit is still the captain of the host. He works with angels. They are ministers for us. I believe it is pertinent to know and understand how to work with angels in this current time.
@@Simply_yoma yeah, however God sent us His son already, when His son was leaving, He said He won't leave us alone, and so He sent us the Holy Spirit; FOR A REASON. I'm not saying don't be aware of them, I'm saying if Christ nor His apostles saw the need to teach those around in their time on earth, I wonder why we see the need today, particularly since accounts in scripture where angels “ministered” to people (Abra[ha]m, Mary, Paul & Silas, etc] were descriptive and not prescriptive! Let's not think we can gimmick God to do what He does sovereignly, at our own will & time. We can do all of the things these people of faith did & not get the same outcome because it's God's to carry out His help towards us as He deems fit; not because we can “attract” angels but because God loves us & He's willing to flourish His work in our hands. It's God (the Father, Son & Holy Spirit) that helps us achieve whatever task He's given us & God already gave us Himself (in His Son), if you feel there's a need to add to God's help, then... No matter how well-meaning a teaching seems, if it goes beyond what Christ or His apostles clearly taught in scripture, then we should be warely. I love Pastor Iren & listen to a lot of his sermons, but I just thought to share what I thought (according to scripture) about this.
@ifeanyichukwuanowai9452 bless you, sir. We will relate with our God how he wants to relate with us. I firmly believe the ministry of angels is evidently at work in our time, and the holyspirit is their head for a reason. May God help us as we forge further in our walk with him.
