Damien fell to hubris. He allowed Shayne to ego stroke him into relentless theorizing because it made him feel smart. Shayne did a phenomenal job of manipulating Damien, while Chance did exceptional work on Courtney and Spencer. Angela was left confused in the middle. Chance and Shayne played a flawless divide and conquer and it was incredible to watch.
And Arasha was just being herself, which worked incredibly. I could probably write an essay on how good this gameplay was.

actually he was playing very logically for the first half, but when Arasha made the lie about Courtney giving 2 fascist cards he started spiralling because Arasha had endeared herself to him.
The main mistake the liberals made was never electing Angela in the mid game, so they never gave her a chance to prove her innocence.

It was Courtney bearing witness to the power of Arasha's acting for me. For a moment there was genuine shock and awe.
When Damien made the "gullible written on the ceiling" joke it reminded me of the time my english teacher always said that so i snuck into the classroom and wrote the word "gullible" on a tile so when he said it i could go "yea, its right there" and point. He was so impressed at my commitment to the bit, i didnt even get in trouble
I had a feeling about Shayne the whole time, he was too quiet. I knew Arasha was because we saw Courtney's cards that one play. Chanse absolutely floored me.
Honestly thats the best part! All 3 were playing completely different strategies that it was hard for the liberals to know they were the team all along. Arasha took the risks as the best liar , Chanse plays for the other team as a good actor, and Shayne can use his psychology degree to good use by feeding into what Damien wants to hear. Their skill sets together completely complimented and made them win the game im such an epic way.
Thats crazy cause I thought the exact opposite. I knew for certain Chanse was a facist. The way he kept shaking his knees after he literally said he was nervous at 11:29 while shaking them confirmed it as a nervous behavior and made me think he must be bad. Shayne I wasn't sure of at all. He was quiet, but not so quiet that it felt out of place.

Fun game despite the numerous rules goofs.
1. All players vote in elections including the candidates.
2. The Election Tracker resets every time a policy is enacted.
3. If a Fascist policy comes down as a result of the Election Tracker hitting 3, no one gets the presidential power.
4. You can't be nominated as Chancellor if you were just elected as President/Chancellor.
5. After the Special Election, the person to the left of the President who enacted the Special Election is the next presidential candidate. (Spencer should have been the next candidate after Courtney chose Damien for her special election)

I feel like seeing them play Resistance would be really fun! It's another social deception game with different motives and roles- ultimately one of my personal favorites.
I really enjoyed Shayne nervously picking his nails the whole game while everyone tells him how quiet he’s being.

Few pretty big rules goofs: the nominated president and chancellor do in fact vote Ja or Nein. Also, a previously elected government can't be nominated for Chancellor for the next government. Powers also don't activate on a forced flip

the interesting thing about these lying games is that one person always ends up taking over the discussion in the "rational leader" role and essentially directs the group, which helps them because it makes them seem like an unbiased party even though they're also playing, but the disadvantage to it is that whoever they trust (if they're a good character) and form an "alliance" with goes under the radar.
like in this game, damien took on that role and quickly ruled out arasha, and arasha smartly took on a "co-leader" role with damien by luring him into a false sense of security and talking out strategy with him even though it was really only getting the target off of her back.
That was SOOOO good! You all have amazing chemistry on screen. I'm here for it. keep the content coming! Yall should play Chameleon again too!
