Voice acting really hurt game writing more than it helped. It's so expensive to voice more lines, so I feel we don't get as much choice in dialogue as we used to.

Never played it and I want to see if this game actually has happy times and happy endings, instead of some psychopath nobody would even let into their own village, because people around him die for his own entertainment all the time. I remember when I was younger I could not beat this game, combat was too hard for me, but when I got older I had so much fun in combat and in the world, characters were interesting, I could simp to Morrigan and the SPOILER ALERT but its a game from 2009 cmon, I was really happy I could have a normal ordinary kid with her and then in the dlc chase and go through some portal with her. And then in Inquisition she was referring to all that so cool. In the first 8min, I hear in this game, "We are five unarmed women, how can we kill anyone?" You are not gonna hear smth like this from most of new games for sure. They murdered DA with veilguard and should be put to prison for murder.

I love the varied starts to this game. My first character was a male elf in the city. Had to kill a nobleman who kidnapped my betrothed. It was badass story and a good start.
An rpg that actually allows you to be a psycopath is a good game - and not because you should be a psycopath, but because it allows you to roleplay however you want with whatever the consequences bring. I miss the good ole days of great rpgs. Y

@@chuckchan4127 The one true spiritual successor of Dragon Age Origins(Which was, ironically, a successor of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. xD). I mean, I personally kind of liked DA2 and Inquisition too(No comment on Veilguard though, aside from RIP Bioware, once one of my favourite developers of RPG's), but Origins is a true timeless masterpiece. I'd sure give up on the voiced protagonist to have all those dialogues and choices.
I would never play a psychopath so these choices are useless. Fun to watch on RUclips but that's it and to me, it makes no difference if they exist or not.

Awesome video! I also had a playthrough of Dragon Age: Origins as well, but I did a "Good Woman" play-through. Your video came in handy as I didn't have the resources to play it in a Psychopath way. It was really interesting to see how some of the scenarios played out. Some of them we're not predictable at all! I really hope you're planning a Psychopath DLC run too :)
I've always thought that being a City Elf is the most appropriate choice for a psychopath playthrough what with the background of being a victim of systemic racism by humans and the majority of the cutscene murder victims being human
Damn, I love this game but I feel horrible doing evil choices. Seeing how dark Dragon Age gets if you go the Psychopath route is something else XD But the voice acting, especially the screaming is something else! Shame the vocal animations are so silly at those times XD
This is a prime example of what made the old Bioware so damn good. Can you imagine if they kept with this and allowed us to speak freely or be rude in the new game. Taash would be killed off in 99% of the players gameplays, guaranteed.

It's like watching a train collision, you just can't look away..." Edit: I watched all of it. It was glorious. But these cow facts coming out of nowhere were of excellent bovine nature! Somebody should timestamp every time you talk about them... Does this happen in the other videos as well? 🐮
Has Kevduit ever explained in how he makes his videos? He said on Twitter that he had over 35 hours of footage on this video alone. As a total beginner editor I am really interested in how he manages scripting and other stuff with such massive amounts of footage. Really impressive :)
